I pulled out the divine spear, Ruin.

It was already in its third form, so I poured all my magic power into it.

The amount of magic power I was using this ti was several tis more than the usual when I normally activate the divine spear.

I even followed up by drinking magic potions, and as I gradually recovered, I poured more magic power into Ruin. Also, with the help of Eldogalia acting as an interdiary, I was receiving the magic power of everyone in the exploration team, channeled into and then towards the spear.

The technique of transferring magic power to others was supposed to be quite an advanced technique and not easy to execute, but it seed that Ms. Eldogalia could do it just fine.

The Demon King, who was also sharing his magic power, simply laughed at this situation while comnting. "Wow, this is kind of exciting."

I forced even more power into the divine spear, far beyond safe limits, then took a deep breath and swung.

"Beams! I can fire them too!!" (Yuki)

I then unleashed the [Magic Edge Cannon].

The air trembled as a blinding beam split the space.

As my beam approached, the Asura Golem also imdiately countered with a beam of its own, and the two beams collided, causing a flash of light to brighten the area.

And then followed by an explosion.

At the initial impact, our attacks were almost at the sa level of power, locked in what seed to be a deadlock- but then the balance slowly tipped.

This was because I continued pouring more magic power into my attack, I was slowly but surely overpowering the golem, burning through as much magic power as I could.

Compared to my attack, however, the Asura Golem's attack was simply a linear burst of energy, and was not strengthened over ti because it was using a fixed amount of magic power to power its attack.

The difference between our power could be seen.

At first, it looked as if there was a stalemate of power in our clash, but soon enough, my [Magic Edge Cannon] overpowered the Asura Golem's beam and directly hit golem's body.

The Asura Golem was blown away.

But even after witnessing that, I didn't let my guard down.

My magic power was nearly depleted, but I forced my body to stay alert.

I then kicked so rubble on the floor with all my might, shooting it out like a bullet towards the golem.

From what I could see, the Asura Golem had not yet stopped operating.

Its torso was dented, its armor was bent, and so of its internal parts were exposed, but it was still trying to get up.

I couldn't believe that my attack was not able to pierce that golem completely even after I boosted my attack with that much magic power… It was an attack using the divine spear, you know? What kind of hardness did that armor have to resist the attack of the divine weapon?

If we're talking about hardness alone, this guy's armor was on par with or even harder than the scales of the dragon race.

I concluded that a follow-up attack was needed to finish it off for good, so I attacked once more.

"Good job guarding! Your role ends today!" (Yuki)

As I closed in, the Asura Golem moved its arms in an attempt to intercept my approach, but it was not able to move its body properly because of the damage, making its attack far less powerful, enough for to even block it directly.

While blocking the counter-attack with Enne, I lifted the golem's arm that was trying to crush , leaving it in a defenseless state – and then plunged the divine spear into the exposed part of its torso.

This spear was more than strong enough to pierce the Lefi's scales that were almost on the sa rank as god's armor in point-blank range, so it easily pierced the golem's body.

I could feel the sensation of the spear cutting through the internal chanism inside the golem that could be glimpsed through the cracks in its body, and after struggling for a while, the Asura Golem stopped moving with its jewel faded in color.
