"Ugh, that hurts…" (Yuki)
I was the final winner, but I wasn't unscathed. Although I avoided fatal injuries, I was hit by so of the shrapnel beams. So of my flesh was blown away, and my scars were scorched.
I really couldn't forgive this golem. It was just too good at surprise attacks.
Seriously…how could it be possible for that thing to almost seriously injure ?
"Yuki-san!" (Layla)
Seeing the extent of my injuries, Layla ca running over in a state of panic that I didn't usually see her in. She opened the magic bag I had given her, took out so advanced potions, and sprinkled them on .
The injury began to heal at visible speed.
"Eh?!" (Layla)
"H, huh… oh right, it's okay, Layla. It'll hurt for a while, but I won't die. When I was running around in the Demon Forest with Rir, this kind of thing frequently happened." (Yuki)
It was like those days that it was already making feel nostalgic.
At that ti, I was much weaker than my current self and I ran around the Demon Forest every day as an overwhelming underdog. It was really tough, and I was risking my life all the ti, but now it beca a good mory.
…No, I was lying, it was not such a good mory. All I rember was thinking, "Damn you monsters."
Ah, Rir. If you had been here, it would have been much easier. We could have put up a better fight against that samurai robot.
"Guu, augh…" (Sakuya)
Sakuya looked worried at my injuries and twisted his face as if he was about to burst into tears. Even when he looked like that, his face was still adorable.
"Haha, Sakuya, it's okay. Don't look like you're about to cry. Dad has been through this sort of thing many tis before. Hey, Enne." (Yuki)
"…Hmm. If it's Master, then it's absolutely fine. So, there's no need to be scared." (Enne)
The personified Enne patted Sakuya on the head.
Perhaps feeling relieved, Sakuya's expression, which seed to be on the verge of bursting into tears, gradually softened.
"That's a heroic tale you probably don't want to tell to your children… they might try to imitate it." (Layla)
"Haha, that's true. However, I have a feeling that Sakuya will do sothing equally reckless, no matter what his parents say. Without us knowing." (Yuki)
"…I guess I need to teach this child many things." (Layla)
"Yeah, that's why I brought him all the way here." (Yuki)
As my family was talking like this, Eldogalia-sensei ca over to us.
"…Demon Lord, are you okay?" (Eldogalia)
"Ah, it's no problem. My injuries have now healed. However, from here on out, we might just need to be more prepared than usual." (Yuki)
That Samurai Robot was strong.
Now that I understood its capabilities, I was confident that I could destroy it without any trouble the next ti I fight it, but if two of them appeared, who knows what would happen. RäɴỗβĘŠ
It would be fine if it were just the SF Armadillos. If it was simply those guys, I could probably deal with a few of them, but against the Asura Golems or the Samurai Robots, I wouldn't have that luxury.
These ruins were really tough.
"…Well, I can tell just how difficult it will be. Look at the state you're in now. But Demon Lord, I'm sorry. We are a clan that still pursues our intellectual desires. As long as you don't say it's impossible, we'll go ahead." (Eldogalia)
"Haha, well, that's true. Okay, then–" (Yuki)
And as we were talking…
We could feel an increasing amount of pressure.
The sound of sothing rolling on the ground could be heard.
I imdiately beca alert and looked in that direction – and lo and behold, I saw so SF Armadillos.
But it was different from before. There were so many of them that it was impossible to count.
Wait, did Samurai Robot call its friends?
"Evacuate!!" (Yuki)
Deciding that it would be impossible to take on that many, I raised my voice, and we all hurriedly headed back the way we ca.
