Layla smiled at my words, as if she knew what I was talking about.
“Yes, that’s right. This is just a painting. A collection of colors, using paint. And yet, it sohow makes the viewer feel uncomfortable and uneasy… Isn’t it a wonder what in the world is working to make you feel that way?” (Layla)
…I see… so that’s why Layla liked it.
“I think you two will also enjoy the museum if you find a painting that affects your emotions in so way. Nell and the others seem to be chatting over the paintings.” (Layla)
Yes, that’s true.
Nell and Lyuu’s conversation was more like, “I ssed up my paints, and the colors wouldn’t co off. I was so angry with my mother because the color didn’t co off at all.”…. I think our kids would do the sa thing at so point in the future. Well, we have a washing machine at ho, so it was easier to deal with it to so extent. It wouldn’t make their fingers rough at the very least.
What, they were on [Dull on the Art] team’s side, too? Good.
(T/N: Basically, Yuki is implying that Nell and Lyuu were just appreciating what they saw without understanding much of it.)
“Childlike, huh? It’s difficult to find adults who are as ntally mature as I am…” (Yuki)
“I think I just heard so crazy nonsense, but I’ll pretend I didn’t hear it. But, speaking of childhood…. Yuki, wouldn’t that art over there be interesting? The grass is thick, and its colors are good for the eyes.” (Lefi)
“Yes, but that’s not a work of art, it’s just a houseplant.” (Yuki)
“Well, how about that one over there? It’s upholstered in leather and looks comfortable to the touch, and it looks like it would take away your fatigue if you sat on it.” (Lefi)
“Yes, but that’s simply a sofa for resting.” (Yuki)
What a sophisticated gag.
We were joking around, but we were still enjoying the museum.
Riou and Sakuya, by the way, woke up around the ti we left the cathedral, but there were too many people around, so they seed a little anxious, twitching their ears and showing signs of alarm.
Seeing this, the adults took turns carrying them in their arms, and while soothing them, we made the rounds of the museum.
Sakuya ended up returning to sleep, but every ti he woke up, he looked around as if looking for sothing, and when he realized that he didn’t find it, he started crying.
Perhaps he was looking for Mukuro?
When Sakuya cried, Shii looked like she was going to cry as well when she saw him.
This was soone they both missed so much right off the bat. I wish I could have talked to him as well.
“So, Riou, what do you think of the museum? Anything of interest?” (Yuki)
“Uh… Uhhh…” (Riou)
Riou only clung to my clothes and looked around a little, but she did not seem to be interested in anything.
I guess she was afraid of sothing unfamiliar, but the fact that she clung to so desperately was…. the cutest thing ever.
