I went through the transportation door that led to the true throne room, not the living room. I finally returned ho with Enne.
“I’m ho.” (Yuki)
“…I’m ho.” (Enne)
We were soon greeted with words of welco.
“Welco ho, you two. You’ve worked hard all day.” (Lefi)
“Welco back! I just made so tea.” (Lyuu)
“Oh, yes. Thank you.” (Yuki)
“…Thank you.” (Enne)
The two people in the room were Lefi and Lyuu.
Enne received a cup of tea, sat down on a chair, held it in both hands, and drank it with a sip.
I also received a teacup. I sat down on the throne, sipped it, and moistened my throat.
I was exhausted.
No, not that physically tired, but ntally tired, even with this super-spec body, it didn’t matter.
I’ve been working so hard lately that I was wondering why I was taking my job so seriously.
For better or worse…well, maybe for better. I’d never gone through anything worse.
At best, I’ve been living normally with my family in the dungeon, doing whatever I wanted every day, instead of living among human civilization.
Now that I have once again returned to my life in the dungeon, I realized that my life was influenced a little too much by people outside the dungeon.
If they were my family, that would be one thing. However, that was not the case.
It would have been easier if I could just say, “I don’t care about that…” and leave those people alone. But now, I have made many connections with the outside world.
And I wanted to cherish those connections as well.
I was just about to leave when Lefi and Lyuu, who seed to be very weary from my movents, called out to .
“Kakaka, you look exhausted.” (Lefi)
“I can see fatigue on Husband’s face, it’s quite common these days. Did sothing happen again?” (Lyuu)
“Oh, there was a terrorist attack at the airfield. Bombs went boom-boom-boom, monsters ca out again, and it was very dangerous. There were so human casualties, too.” (Yuki)
“…Master did his best. The damage was lessened because of the Master’s presence.” (Enne)
“I see. I thought you screwed up again, but you did a good job this ti.” (Lefi)
“Since a while ago, you have been taking Enne and Rir-sama with you when you go outside, Husband. I think it’s having a positive effect, isn’t it?” (Lyuu)
“Hmm… Enne protects Master outside on behalf of everyone else.” (Enne)
“I’m counting on you, seriously.” (Lefi)
After a short chat, Enne seed to be getting sleepy and let out a cute yawn.
“…Enne wants to sleep for a while.” (Enne)
“Oh, in that case, why don’t you take a nap in our room? We’ve just put in new bedding, so it’ll be ready in no ti.” (Lyuu)
“…Hmmm, I will. I’ll borrow your bed.” (Enne)
“Go ahead! But I think dinner will be ready in about two hours, so I’ll wake you up in about an hour, okay?” (Lyuu)
“…Nn.” (Enne)
Enne let out a sleepy voice and went into Layla and Lyuu’s room.
Lyuu and Layla continued sleeping and waking up in their previously shared room.
Sotis they sleep together in one of the larger rooms, but it seems to have beco a habit for them to return to their original sleeping arrangents.
The girls chatted with each other before bed, just as Lefi and I often played gas before going to bed.
They were originally close as [co-workers], but now that they had beco a firm [family], they were seemingly as close as ever.
