Lestari initially seed ready to refuse, believing the thod useless for her, but then admitted that its value was indeed high since she could make use of it in other ways.

Oliver couldn’t help but ask, "So you agree?"

"Add another fifty million dollars, and you still have to give the recipes you offered," Lestari replied.

She looked at Rebecca when she ntioned the money.

However, Rebecca simply smiled and casually sent the money again.

Lestari then extended her hand toward Oliver and said, "Give the thods—write them down on paper."

Oliver rolled his eyes at how quickly she wanted to be paid.

Fortunately, Rebecca had a notebook and pen, so Oliver could write down the thods in Earth language.

Of course, he didn’t have them morized, but his original body was currently reading Path of Alchemy, so he could easily copy everything necessary before handing the notebook to Lestari.

She didn’t read it, but stored it away imdiately.

"Let see the corpse," she said.

"Can you do it if it’s inside a Storage Ring?" Oliver asked.

"Is it that big? Don’t worry, I have an Independent World," Lestari replied, surprising both Oliver and Rebecca even more.

This woman seed to possess many treasures.

Even if her Independent World didn’t have special abilities like the World of Shadows, it was still incredibly valuable.

At that mont, a portal appeared behind her—but not one leading to the Chaotic World.

"Follow ," she said, stepping through the portal first.

Oliver and Rebecca exchanged glances and nodded before following her.

They erged onto a vast, clean expanse of land, with a luxurious house in the center and nurous gardens bearing all kinds of fruit.

Compared to the land in the World of Shadows, this was larger—perhaps because Lestari expanded it often.

It could be enlarged by absorbing land from Earth.

"Go ahead, take the corpse out," Lestari said again.

Oliver waved his hand, releasing the lion-man’s body, which was enormous from a human’s perspective.

Even though they expected it to be large, Lestari and Rebecca were still stunned.

"You really found a corpse this big," Rebecca said.

If she knew there were many tombs containing bodies like this, who knew how she would react.

"Are you sure this corpse holds the thod to mastering the Absolute Fusion Technique?" Lestari asked.

"Absolutely sure. But can you let search for the mory myself? I want to experience your soul power," Oliver replied.

"Of course," Lestari said.

"Sit."

Oliver sat down.

"Don’t resist whatever enters your body. It may feel threatening," she warned.

Oliver nodded.

Monts later, he felt sothing enter his body. He couldn’t see it, but he could feel it.

It did feel threatening—if it entered without his resistance, it seed like it could erase his existence with ease.

He also realized his Willpower wasn’t strong enough to resist it. That might only be possible for his original body if he didn’t have to split his Will between two manifestations.

Shua!

In the next mont, he felt separated from his body.

He could even see himself sitting there, with Rebecca standing behind him while Lestari looked focused.

"This is what it’s like to live as a soul—but impossible for you without my help. Otherwise, you’d die."

He suddenly heard Lestari’s voice beside him, slightly resonant.

It turned out she had another form here, but hers was fully shaped, unlike his.

Then, Oliver saw her reach for him—he was now just a point of light.

Whoosh!

She took him into the giant corpse.

For a mont, everything went dark.

Then, he saw a massive, glowing, eggshell-like object floating before him.

"This is the corpse’s Soul Core, but it’s empty—its soul is gone," Lestari explained.

"I’ll send you inside. Don’t worry, I’ll bear all the effects for you—consider it a bonus. Once inside, focus on the thod. The mory will flow into your mind."

Oliver was still surprised she would spare him from the side effects when she suddenly threw him in.

Whoosh!

He sank into the Soul Core, surrounded by an infinite, blinding white.

It didn’t feel like being inside a space—more like closing his eyes, except instead of darkness, there was only white.

Following Lestari’s instructions, he began thinking about the thod for mastering the Absolute Fusion Technique.

"Mmm..." He was stunned to find information really entering his mind.

But before he could process it, he was suddenly pulled back.

In an instant, he was back in his body, his mind rapidly digesting the foreign mory—his expression changing to one of repeated shock.

"Oliver, how is it?" Rebecca asked.

Oliver didn’t answer right away. He first looked at Lestari, whose complexion had gone pale.

She quickly drank sothing transparent, restoring her color.

From the look of it, it was an extrely expensive elixir.

"That was dangerous—just a mont later and I’d have been seriously injured," Lestari said.

She shot Oliver a look as if wanting to scold him for giving her such a task.

But Oliver couldn’t be bothered—he was too busy processing the mory, his shock growing each ti.

The thod was real—it guaranteed at least a 5% mastery of the Absolute Fusion Technique, with the potential for more depending on one’s abilities, and even the possibility of full mastery.

If that was achieved, one could rge with any creature without restriction.

Of course, the thod also warned that continuous rging wasn’t without side effects.

Its approach was unique—one could only comprehend it while rged with another creature and while absorbing the blood of a being known as Absorath.

It was said that creature was the origin of the technique.

Finding Absorath blood wasn’t difficult—it existed in anyone who had once absorbed it, such as the blood of the lion-man corpse.

However, its effect was single-use, so it had to be used wisely.

If one failed due to other factors, there would be no second chance.

Oliver was already thinking about possible rges—not full ones like in the Absolute Fusion Technique, but partial rges.

Perhaps rging with an undead could work, or the easiest option—rging with a mber of the opposite sex.

But that would have to be with his original body, not a manifestation—so he would need to bring the corpse’s blood back ho first.
