Oliver and Rebecca finished their dinner.

After that, Rebecca imdiately stood up.

"Let’s talk in the car while heading to the location," she said.

"Alright..."

Oliver didn’t mind. He had decided to co along because the target turned out to be Fire Ghost.

Even if it wasn’t him, it would still be hard for Oliver to say he wouldn’t be tempted.

The problem is that there are also thods for creating sothing that can improve cultivation.

They went down to the ground floor, and Oliver could feel too many envious stares.

"You ca here by car, right? Just store it," said Rebecca when they arrived on the first floor.

Oliver, who kept following her, moved his car into the space inside his Observation Ring and followed her to a shiny red sports car, which looked similar to the one his teacher used.

"Do you want to drive it?" asked Rebecca while showing her car key.

"You do it. I don’t want to hear you directing along the way," Oliver replied.

Rebecca chuckled at his words and pressed a button on the key, causing the car lights to blink.

The doors could now be opened.

Oliver just got in and almost hit his head on the roof due to carelessness.

As soon as he got in and sat down, he slled a rich but pleasant fragrance in the cabin, which turned out to co from the air conditioning.

Rebecca, with her tall figure and wearing a dress, didn’t seem to have any trouble sitting behind the wheel even though the space looked tight.

She started the engine quickly before pulling the car out onto the road.

Her driving style was quite relaxed—not slow, but not fast either.

"Why didn’t you invite Edward as well?" asked Oliver.

"I’d bet my own leg he would never agree. Worst case, he might even leak my plan," answered Rebecca.

"You’re different," she continued, glancing sideways at him.

"Even though you and I have had so issues, I know we’re alike in terms of ambition. Ambition can sotis control even the most moral souls. As long as there’s a benefit, I believe you wouldn’t refuse my invitation to do sothing even if it’s a little evil."

Oliver, "..."

"Now that we’re in the car, tell —who exactly is Fire Ghost, where is his residence, and how are we going to rob him?" Oliver changed the topic, growing uncomfortable with the previous conversation.

"Fire Ghost doesn’t just have manifestations in the form of fire. He even has one that looks exactly like his real body, but without any power. His real body is actually hiding inside an artifact, and that artifact is the reason he can create those manifestations," Rebecca explained more about Fire Ghost instead of answering Oliver directly.

However, what she said piqued Oliver’s interest.

’So that’s how he creates his manifestations,’ he thought.

He was imdiately tempted by the artifact.

"We’re going to the place where Fire Ghost hides his artifact, and your power is needed to penetrate it. Without your power, this mission would be impossible because the artifact is made of the hardest material, so even powerful figures can’t break through it. That’s the reason Fire Ghost could keep the artifact safe for so long as an ordinary human. Only your void power can break through it, at least based on my estimates, since it has the property of negating everything."

"So this is why you chose ?" asked Oliver.

"Yes, I’ve been thinking about this plan since I saw your power," Rebecca replied.

"Once we get inside the artifact, won’t we have to face Fire Ghost? How are we going to defeat him? After all, he’s not weak." Oliver still wasn’t completely convinced by the plan.

If Fire Ghost was only at the Seventh or even Eighth Stage, he might still dare, but he was at the Tenth Stage.

He was a Peak Cultivator among the Spiritual Master Realm.

"If we succeed in entering, we won’t even need to fight him."

"Really?"

"He has created one powerless human-like manifestation of himself, and three others with the exact sa strength as his original self. This isn’t without side effects. His real body practically loses strength over ti. He’ll need ti to recover, and that’s enough ti for us to seize control of his artifact. However, we can’t kill him."

"Why not?"

"He’s a major figure, soone who controls the governnt and safeguards our family’s assets. If he dies, even many of my personal interests in England would be in chaos. That’s not a problem—without his artifact, he’s nothing. Of course, we have to hide our identities when infiltrating so he won’t know it was us."

Rebecca looked at him with a thin smile and continued, "his real na is Stephen Rothschild, but people know him as Stephen Gilbert, the Pri Minister of England."

Oliver, "..."

He started thinking and realized that everything made sense.

Just earlier, he heard Miya talking about the Pri Minister, and now he was hearing it again from Rebecca.

The stories were different, but everything connected.

Maybe the artifact was what Miya called the Independent World.

The difference was, Miya didn’t know as much as Rebecca.

After all, she only dated the Pri Minister when they were young, probably around twenty years ago or more.

After that, even if they still interacted, there’s no way they would know the finer details of each other’s lives.

’Really interesting, but what does the Pri Minister want from the prisoners?’

He rembered Murphy’s promise to Fire Ghost—to help him obtain over a hundred death row inmates. Even before that, Fire Ghost had tried to kidnap them and failed.

Oliver could understand if the Pri Minister wanted to protect his reputation and didn’t use his authority to get them, but for what purpose?

Of course, he didn’t think too much about it.

He began to consider the plan again, wondering whether everything would go as smoothly as Rebecca described.

Before long, the car had already left the city, heading north on the highway.

Rebecca started to speed up, but it couldn’t be called fast.

Compared to Ivy, she was driving way too slow.

"Is the location far?" asked Oliver.

For a mont, he thought they might be going to London, but it seed the Pri Minister’s real body was hiding in a remote place.

"Pretty far, in a farming village. We’ll probably need two hours to get there," replied Rebecca.

"Maybe just one hour if you drive faster," said Oliver, rolling his eyes.

"It’s a bit hard for . I rarely drive, so my focus isn’t great at high speeds. That’s why I suggested you drive."

"No, you do it!"

Oliver still refused.

Knowing it would take a long ti, he could only tell Ivy that he wouldn’t be able to visit her tonight.
