Alex’s shock didn’t stop there. He even stood up involuntarily.

"You? You?" he said, pointing at Oliver, who sat beside him.

"Sit down!"

Oliver forcefully pulled his hand so he would sit again, not wanting to cause a scene over this.

Fortunately, Alex managed to calm down, grasping the situation quickly.

"Oliver, how did you get this strong? Have you been cultivating for a long ti?" he asked.

Of course, it was no secret that Oliver had been cultivating even before he attempted to Awaken, which had made Dom furious.

But who knew—maybe he had started cultivating even long before that.

Alex suspected as much, because Oliver’s current cultivation was far too advanced.

"Of course not," Oliver replied. "My talent is just way beyond what you imagined. I’ve even beco a disciple of the Head of the Cultivator Association of Manchester."

"What?" Alex was shocked again.

"You an Lady Evylin Windsor?" he asked, lowering his voice this ti.

"Yes..." Oliver nodded casually.

Hiss!

This ti, Alex inhaled sharply.

"How much do you actually know about her?" Oliver couldn’t help but ask, since Alex seed to know a lot about his teacher.

She had a royal surna, but when Oliver searched her online, he hadn’t found much information.

"Don’t tell ... you know nothing about your own teacher?" Alex asked with a strange expression.

"That’s exactly the case," Oliver answered nonchalantly.

Alex shook his head and scratched his hair upon hearing that.

"She’s also the granddaughter of the Queen, isn’t she?" Oliver asked.

"Yes, she’s the daughter of Prince Charles, but she was raised outside the palace. I don’t know the full story, but what I do know is that she’s been the strongest Cultivator in the country since last month—because she defeated the previous strongest one. Her potential is considered terrifying, and she’s still young."

Oliver: "..."

He hadn’t expected his teacher to be this extraordinary.

She was actually the strongest Cultivator in the entire UK.

If that was the case, she truly was one of the top powers—because the previous top Cultivator was said to be nearly as strong as the top four Awakeners.

"Oliver, if you only started cultivating recently, how did your cultivation advance so fast?" Alex asked.

That was clearly what he cared about most.

But that question was difficult to answer.

His cultivation speed wasn’t sothing that could be explained—it was purely innate talent.

Even he still found his own talent baffling.

"It’s not sothing I can explain," he said.

Right now, Alex knew he was at Stage Three, but who knew how he’d react if he found out Oliver would soon reach Stage Four?

Alex scratched his head at his response.

"Mm."

Oliver and Alex both turned toward the door at the sa ti, prompted by the appearance of Ivy.

This was her class too, so it made sense for her to show up—but Oliver couldn’t help but think she ca a little too soon.

She had just gone to the cafeteria. That wasn’t enough ti to finish breakfast.

However, when she walked into the classroom, she imdiately approached Oliver and stood in front of his desk.

"What’s your answer—do you agree to fuse with my Undead King?" she asked, skipping any pleasantries and not even bothering to hide it from the others.

"What did she just say?" a student wondered aloud.

"Yeah, lately she’s been offering certain people to fuse with her undead. She can’t control them all. It’s useful for cultivation too—people say you can feel the undead’s power directly," another student answered.

Apparently, this wasn’t a secret anymore.

In fact, many people were interested because the benefits were undeniable.

Unfortunately, Ivy was picky with whom she chose.

"Did she just offer Oliver a fusion with her Undead King? Hey, you know that’s not the sa as fusing with an ordinary undead."

"What’s her reason for choosing him?"

"..."

Oliver didn’t answer imdiately, because what he wanted to discuss went beyond this.

"How about we talk sowhere else?" he suggested.

She had co to class so that he would approach her—but that didn’t an they should talk about this here unless the classroom was empty.

"Alright, where?" Ivy agreed instantly.

"You choose," Oliver said with a faint smile.

Words like that could easily irritate soone, but Ivy didn’t seem angry at all.

She nodded and said, "Let’s go to the restaurant next door!"

With that, she turned and walked off.

Oliver followed her, ignoring the stunned stares of the other students—including Alex, who even looked like he wanted to follow them.

There was, in fact, a restaurant next to the school. It was quite luxurious, and Oliver had never been there before.

Once they arrived, Ivy imdiately ordered two of the best dishes on the nu and picked a window-side table.

The food she ordered was already ready by the ti they sat down.

Oliver had only eaten a light breakfast that morning, and he was naturally tempted by the delicious food—but he restrained himself for now because Ivy kept staring at him, clearly wanting to hear his answer as soon as possible.

"By the way... you don’t have an Undead Emperor, do you?" he asked.

Ivy looked surprised to hear that and shook her head.

"Maybe once I reach Level 10, I’ll be able to summon an Undead Emperor. Right now, I’m trying my best to level up by continuously hunting monsters. The more people who fuse with my undead, the faster I’ll level up—especially the Undead King, its contribution is equivalent to more than ten regular undead. If I can summon an Undead Emperor, you can fuse with that one. It’s even more effective for your cultivation," she said.

Oliver blinked rapidly after hearing that.

Her last two sentences made him doubt his own hearing.

She was already planning to give him her Undead Emperor?

This made everything much clearer—but even then, he was still amazed by how much she seed willing to offer him.

To Oliver, it felt irrational. A woman might fall in love with a man, sure—but that didn’t an she would give him everything.

At the sa ti, Ivy seed to suddenly realize she had said more than she should have.

She looked briefly unsure of how to explain herself, but as usual, her blank expression made it easy to pretend that nothing was wrong.

’Just as I thought... Ivy really is a unique woman,’ Oliver thought.

There was no better word to describe her—unique. She was just too different.

But he couldn’t guess where things were going next.

He wasn’t sure of his own feelings, and after so long without having any special relationships with won, he felt like he had lost his ability to flirt.

Still, he was very aware that there would be a lot of benefits if he had a girlfriend who was a potential Awakener.
