People often say that if you want to leave the Chaotic World, make sure you’re in a safe place and that no monsters are chasing you—because there’s a high chance they’ll wait for you where you summoned the portal.
This was the risk of fleeing by returning directly to Earth.
If it ca to that, all you could do was hope soone else passed through your location and distracted the monsters waiting for you.
When Oliver appeared again in the Chaotic World, he found himself surrounded by six anacondas circling the area where he had opened the portal.
They were all in striking positions, ready to pounce.
Behind them, even more anacondas lood. They were now mostly on land; only a few remained in the river.
"Hello!"
Oliver didn’t know what was wrong with his brain—he actually greeted them, even waving his hand.
The next thing that happened was one of the anacondas lunging at him, its mouth wide open, ready to swallow him whole.
This was a situation with no way out. There was no ti to summon his portal again.
So, he thrust his spear—now coated in void particles—straight at the head of the charging anaconda.
It was definitely going to hit him, and the anaconda didn’t even attempt to avoid the spear, as if it believed it was stronger.
Unfortunately for it, it didn’t know who it was dealing with.
When the tip of the spear struck its head, it pierced through easily, and the creature’s own montum only drove the spear deeper.
Buzz!
The void particles within the spear exploded outward, destroying everything in the anaconda’s head. Even Oliver was shocked by the scene.
In an instant, the giant head disappeared, leaving only the body, as if it had been cleanly sliced off.
Its Monster Core ca out of its body, and Oliver imdiately used a little of his Observation Ring’s power to absorb it. As long as it wasn’t too far away, he could imdiately transfer it into the Observation Ring.
"Die..."
Oliver had no intention of stopping—not even for a second. He poured more void particles into his spear and turned to the next anaconda.
It still seed stunned by the swift death of its comrade.
Oliver’s spear didn’t need to physically hit it this ti—void particles surged out in the shape of a spear, flying forward with incredible speed.
The spear-shaped void energy even expanded as it moved, remaining dense and mimicking the shape of his weapon.
Shua!
It struck the anaconda’s neck, piercing clean through until only a thin strip of flesh connected its head and body.
At this mont, Oliver began to understand the truth in Evlyn’s words.
The difference in level might not matter that much to him—so long as he could land a hit.
If his attack landed, the enemy would die. It was that simple.
Of course, right after that, the remaining four anacondas lunged at him all at once.
Oliver quickly stepped back and used Void Step, instantly moving ten ters forward.
Without it, dodging would’ve been impossible.
As he thought about it—thanks to a dodge ability that was practically teleportation—there was no reason for him to fear too much.
In fact, he had passed by one of the anacondas and was now behind it.
This one was only Level 3. Though still large, around seven ters in length, it looked much more vulnerable—its skin seed thinner, and its movents were slower.
Xiu!
Oliver calmly stabbed it.
The explosion of void particles from his spear obliterated the entire body of the anaconda.
Once they realized how dangerous he was, the weaker anacondas began retreating behind the stronger ones, no longer daring to face him directly.
Even though they couldn’t speak like the sunflower monsters, they were clearly intelligent.
"Ohhh..."
Oliver looked down at the ground.
Fortunately, he had Void Sense, allowing him to sense a wide area as clearly as if he could see it with his eyes—including what lay beneath the earth.
When he realized what was happening underground, he imdiately thrust his spear into the ground.
At the sa ti, the large brown head of another anaconda began to rise.
But it was pierced by his spear before it could fully erge, and the explosion of void particles destroyed it instantly.
Had he not noticed, he might have been swallowed alive.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
That anaconda wasn’t the only one attacking from below. Two more ca from the sides, striking at angled paths.
"You think I’m scared of you?!"
Oliver didn’t even try to dodge this ti—there were only two.
He swung his spear in a wide arc, releasing a surge of void particles that ford a spinning ring.
Pluff! Pluff!
Both anacondas crashed into the ring—they couldn’t even stop themselves in ti.
As a result, their heads were instantly destroyed and their Monster Cores were absorbed by his Observation Ring. If it had been their bodies, they might’ve survived, but with their heads gone, there was no saving them.
He had killed six anacondas, but there were many more.
By his own estimate, there were over fifty, counting those still in the river.
