Chapter 94: Chapter 65 Jealous Criticism of Sneaky Crawling_2
Lin Chu almost fainted.
God damn it, just let her die!
This bloody narcissistic ghost.
While Yun Yuwan was hehehe-ing to herself, Jiang Yingyu sent a ssage: “Are you free?”
Feeling guilty, Yun Yuwan hesitantly replied: “What’s up?”
Jiang Yingyu: “The car is fixed.”
Only then did Yun Yuwan realize: “How much? I’ll compensate you.”
Jiang Yingyu: “If you’re willing, my family is just about to hold a ball, and I don’t have a partner. Be my companion, and we’ll call it even.”
Yun Yuwan only knew he was the snail noodle senior and hadn’t expected he was the blind date arranged by the Jiang and Wen families for her — she felt she was not familiar enough with his background, so better not:
“Let’s skip the ball. How about I treat you to dinner instead, as an apology for the snail noodles and the car incident?”
Jiang Yingyu raised an eyebrow: “Snail noodles?”
Yun Yuwan feeling embarrassed: “The one who sold you snail noodles in the London Art 2018 group chat was . I’m sorry, senior.”
Having just showered, Jiang Yingyu was holding his phone with his hair still dripping wet. Surprised, with a soft light in his phoenix eyes, he looked at the phone screen, revealing a faint smile:
“All right, treat
to dinner then.”
Jiang Yingyu’s ssages continued: “I didn’t expect it was you.”
Yun Yuwan smiled: “That potted climbing rose I planted outside has now covered the entire front wall of my first floor.”
Jiang Yingyu: “I passed by your villa last ti, didn’t seem to have noticed it?”
Yun Yuwan: “It’s at my villa in Belgium [photo].”
Upon opening the picture, the orange hues of roses, as varied as a sunset, blood across the entire expanse of frosted pure white walls. The serrated leaves flourished gracefully, climbing up overtly, exceptionally eye-catching in her yard, vigorous as if they would burst into one’s sight.
When Jiang Yingyu saw it, it was as if he was gently struck, like a cotton pillow thumped against his heart.
He had thought she might grow them well, but never imagined such a breathtaking result — heartbreakingly beautiful, hard to believe it was the small potted rose he had sent.
“It seems entrusting the flowers to you was the right choice.”
Yun Yuwan confidently: “Of course, I’m a florist, and I’m quite good at growing flowers myself.”
The young girl was much more charming than when he first t her, her allure blossoming like the wall of climbing roses, exuberant and expressive.
Jiang Yingyu couldn’t help but smile: “There’s also a tightly wrapped maple in the photo, did you take care of that too?”
“Yeah, it’s pretty, isn’t it?”
Proud that soone noticed the adult gift her brother gave her, Yun Yuwan couldn’t help but feel pleased with herself.
Suddenly, she felt that the person on the other end was quite nice to talk to, giving her the sa friendly and relaxed feeling as when she was in London.
Wen Yangzhi had walked in without her realizing, and as he walked up behind her, the na Jiang Yingyu on her phone caught his eye.
Jiang Yingyu.
So she has Jiang Yingyu’s contact information?
Wen Yangzhi’s hand casually landed on her slender shoulder, engulfing her entire right shoulder, and he spoke indifferently: “I didn’t know you knew him, little sister.”
Without any awareness, she turned to look at him: “Know who?”
Wen Yangzhi glanced at her phone screen, and as she realized it, she giggled:
“You know him too? He’s a senior I t in London, really friendly. He gave
a potted climbing rose; it has already covered an entire wall. I didn’t expect to see him back ho, and we just added each other on WeChat a few days ago.”
Yun Yuwan spoke highly of Jiang Yingyu, clueless of any danger, hoping Wen Yangzhi would also think highly of Jiang Yingyu or at least find so convenience for business or other matters.
But in Wen Yangzhi’s mind, the only identity Jiang Yingyu had was soone who was once supposed to be matchmade with Yun Yuwan. Both of them had avoided eting each other at the beginning; it was clear Jiang Yingyu did not want a union with her, but now the situation seed to have changed from before.
Wen Yangzhi looked on, and just then Jiang Yingyu was still sending her ssages. A ssage popped up on the screen: “If you’re free for the Belgium Flower Festival this year, could you take
to see that wall of climbing roses?”
Yun Yuwan even replied to him: “Sure! I’m always quite free.”
All of a sudden, Wen Yangzhi spoke up: “Are you hungry?”
Yun Yuwan looked up: “Is it ti to eat?”
Wen Yangzhi spoke calmly: “Soon.”
True to form, Yun Yuwan put down her phone and clung to him, hugging his arm as if she couldn’t bear to be apart from him for a mont.
Ignoring further ssages from Jiang Yingyu.
As he sat down on the couch, Yun Yuwan climbed onto him.
With eyes bright and glossy like grapes, she looked at him, curious about Wen Yangzhi’s feelings towards her: “Big brother, do you accept
because I’m pretty?”
