Chapter 6: Chapter 2 Can’t Chase_2

Uncle Deng smiled in response, “Then I’ll send you the electronic invitation.”

Yun Yuwan agreed.

Her phone in her pocket vibrated.

The mont she received the invitation, she gracefully closed the jewelry box and handed the necklace back to Uncle Deng, smiling, “Brother has great taste. Even soone who studies art like

is dazzled by it.”

Uncle Deng was inwardly full of emotion.

Indeed, Young Master Wen had chosen it according to Miss Yun’s preferences.

After returning to her room, Yun Yuwan realized that Lin Chu had sent her a ssage.

Asking her to be at a French restaurant near Jing’an Temple before eleven o’clock.

She was running late for an announcent, leaving Yun Yuwan with limited ti to “fish for n.”

Yun Yuwan blushed at the phrase “fishing for n.”

Especially considering that the man she had to “fish” for was Wen Yangzhi.

She used to only know how to avoid him, and now she suddenly had to “fish” for him; she truly didn’t know where to start.

The restaurant was called Le Bistrot de Racine and was located inside an inconspicuous mansion.

Upon entering, Yun Yuwan realized, the interior was another world entirely.

Green plants and fresh flowers were everywhere; bottles of all kinds of wine were displayed in the original wood-colored cabinets; the walls were covered with ivy; the whole restaurant brimd with Southern France charm.

A young man with his phone ca from the opposite direction, intending to walk past her.

And just happened to have an awkward encounter with Yun Yuwan.

Yun Yuwan moved to the right; he moved to the left, Yun Yuwan moved to the left; he moved to the right.

This went back and forth more than a dozen tis.

Finally, Yun Yuwan stopped.

The man thought she was yielding the way.

Yun Yuwan hesitated, “Like ?”

The stranger hesitated as well, “?”

He even doubted, “How can you tell I like you?”

“Seems pretty obvious,” Yun Yuwan wasn’t that foolish, “Want my WeChat?”

The man, “?”

She looked at her freshly done French manicure, oozing confidence that could infuriate others without paying with their life, yet she spoke with extre politeness, “I’m really sorry, I already have soone I’m ambiguously involved with, maybe another ti.”

The strange man gave Yun Yuwan a complex look.

A pretty girl who seed a bit off in the head.

Watching as he gave her one last lingering look, Yun Yuwan sighed internally that yet another man had lost his crush.

She casually told the waiter Lin Chu’s na, and the waiter led her to the private room reserved by Lin Chu.

Entering the room, the first thing she saw was a table with a flamboyantly elegant Ligularia dentata inserted into it, the glossy surface of its deep green serrated leaves complenting the crimson double flowers perfectly.

In a French classical glass conservatory.

Lin Chu was sitting with his legs crossed. On seeing Yun Yuwan, his expression turned disdainful.

It was hard to believe she was the sa sunny and popular internet celebrity on the giant screen at Xintiandi Plaza.

She didn’t look easy to get along with at all.

No sooner had the waiter left than Lin Chu started complaining, “I can’t believe that when it cos to dating, you’re actually a poor student.”

“But that’s Wen Yangzhi, I used to be really scared of him, so mistakes were inevitable.” She looked utterly disheartened.

“Scared of him and yet you like him, you’re really a masochist.” Lin Chu sighed, “I’ve written you a progress chart. Follow this schedule to interact with Wen Yangzhi and don’t ss around on your own.”

She took out a leather notebook from her tote bag and pushed it across to Yun Yuwan.

Yun Yuwan undid the buckle and looked at the contents of the notebook.

Her eyes slightly dropped, and the bright, delicate petals on the table made her complexion look rosy.

Yun Yuwan had a very tender, youthful charm, but it was not one of immaturity; instead, it was because she herself was vibrant and radiant, with clean skin and a robust sense of vitality, like a white rose tempting one to bite her cheeks.

Her vigor was lush and exuberant, like a boldly blooming flower.

She had abundant hair, a slender neck, and expressive features.

She looked less like an artist, and more like an artist’s model.

Even Lin Chu envied her complexion. Her features might not be exquisitely perfect, but on cara, she surely outshone other actresses with artificially crafted faces.

Since knowing her, Yun Yuwan had always been confidently strutting like a barnyard chicken, lifting her head high.

Yet, the entire world catered to her confidence, making her quirky persona seem utterly reasonable.

From her childhood, Yun Yuwan was always the focus of attention, not necessarily the best in grades but definitely the most popular, everyone doted on her, and countless boys confessed their feelings to her.

There were even boys who she mistook for having a crush on her, who ended up genuinely pursuing her.

So that any comical behavior she engaged in could be seen as charming.

And confidently, she saw others’ stares as affectionate rather than mocking, and indeed she was charming.

But Miss Yun, the barnyard chicken, seriously looked over the table of contents, which read:

Saying good morning and good night to Wen Yangzhi

Holding hands with Wen Yangzhi

Talking about the past with Wen Yangzhi
