Now that he was finally done with the absorption process, Lu Tianzi moved to get to his feet.

It was a simple action, one that he had perford countless tis since young. Yet this ti, Lu Tianzi had actually ended up staggering, to the point where he almost fell over as a result.

After absorbing the new beastial bloodline, Lu Tianzi was astonished to find that he was suddenly unable to control his body as well as he could before.

Flexing his arms out awkwardly, Lu Tianzi tried to feel out the difference in his body.

It was very subtle, but he could still sense that his body had undergone a qualitative change.

This resulted in his failure to estimate just how much strength he could summon with every bit of effort, resulting in him losing his balance earlier.

Lu Tianzi could not help but let out a smile.

Things might feel awkward for now. But with his sharp senses and high adaptability, Lu Tianzi had full confidence that he would not require much ti at all to get used to his newly improved physical capabilities.

After all, this was an improvent brought about by his newly acquired beastial bloodline.

Having spent that much effort to acquire this beastial bloodline, it would be a joke if it ended up holding him back instead!

Conversely, once he managed to master the control over his new physical limits, Lu Tianzi's combat capabilities would be even more ridiculous than before.

In fact, it might sound like a strange matter but up till now, his fast progression through the cultivation realms had actually resulted in his physique being unable to keep up with the developnt of his inner world.

A martial artist's physical body is nourished over ti by the Essence energy within his inner world. Either that, or it could be tempered through countless battles, refining the physical body by pushing its limits ti and again.

They were two different thods, but the two shared a similarity both ways required a certain amount of ti to show their effects.

In order to speed up this process, so martial artists would choose to practice body strengthening techniques, but they were part of the minority.

After all, doing so would require martial artists to divert their ti and effort from the seemingly more important essence cultivation, thereby delaying their advancent through the cultivation levels.

But even so, ordinary martial artists were usually forced to remain in each cultivation level for years on end.

And the higher the cultivation level, the longer it took to advance.

Ironically, this also ant that these ordinary martial artists would have more than enough ti for their Essence energy to fully nourish their physical bodies, strengthening their physiques to the optimal levels.

Lu Tianzi, on the other hand, had been advancing far too quickly as compared to others.

Just last winter, he had only been at the Interdiate Essence Building realm.

After about a year, Lu Tianzi had already advanced to the Advanced Essence Condensation realm, and that was in a completely different cultivation system!

As for his Spiritual Essence cultivation system, he had also leapt a full cultivation realm, reaching Interdiate Essence Condensation realm.

Such a cultivation speed would put all of his peers to sha!

Lu Tianzi was fortunate that due to the nourishnt from his two separate cultivation systems, his physique had improved much faster than his peers. However, it was still far from the optimal level.

In fact, when compared to soone who had been at the Advanced Essence Condensation realm for a hundred years, Lu Tianzi was actually still lacking in terms of physical prowess.

This was the difference brought about by varying cultivation ti spent.

Due to his young age, Lu Tianzi had spent a relatively shorter ti cultivating. Despite having refined his body through a significant number of battles, the growth of his physique had inevitably lagged behind that of his essence cultivation.

That was, until now.

Most beasts possessed physiques far stronger than martial artists at the sa cultivation level, and successfully absorbing the bloodline of these beasts would grant martial artists the traits of these beasts.

On top of gaining strengths unique to the beasts' bloodline, it would also help strengthen the martial artists' physiques, bringing it one level closer to that of the beasts.

And because of that, Lu Tianzi's physique had now taken a qualitative leap forward.

With all the incredible things that Essence energy could do, improving the physique might seem like an unimportant matter, but that could not be further from the truth.

The physical body was just like a container, holding in vast contents that were collectively known as the inner world.

Without a strong container, even if there was an astronomical amount of Essence energy within the inner world, it would only serve to strain the container, potentially even causing it to break apart.

On the other hand, with a strong container, even if the Essence energy within was minimal, the container could serve as a shield, making up for the difference in cultivation levels.

In extre cases where the difference in physiques was large enough, a martial artist might even be able to crush an opponent of a higher cultivation level, solely by abusing his superior physical abilities!

As long as Lu Tianzi got used to his current physique, he would be able to burst forth with strength far greater than before, raising his combat capabilities to a brand new height!

But in the anti, Lu Tianzi would have to first tide over a short period of adjustnt, where his combat capabilities would be slightly lower.

Thankfully, now that the God of Pestilence had fallen, Lu Tianzi did not see himself having to fight in the near future.

With a swipe of his hands, Lu Tianzi stored the massive carcass of the God of Pestilence into his spatial ring.

This was the spatial ring that he had gotten from killing Peng before the start of the Scarlet Moon Heroes et, and contained an independent space multiple tis bigger than that of the one he had been using before.

Without this increase in space, the spatial ring that he had gotten from Hu Yuanbo would actually be insufficient to store the huge body of the God of Pestilence!

In fact, even this spatial ring was almost fully filled up by just the carcass of the God of Pestilence.

This won't do. I should try to obtain a higher grade spatial ring if possible...

Lu Tianzi decided upon seeing this.

After all, the number of treasures in his possession would only increase as ti went by. It would be quite inconvenient to store his items in multiple spatial rings due to a lack of space in each one.

When he was done, Lu Tianzi quickly retrieved all his formation flags before hurrying along the path of withered grass.

It did not take long before he arrived before a small pit, the sa location where he had first seen the God of Pestilence laying in.

"Took you long enough!" Nanlan Qianxue called out playfully the mont Lu Tianzi arrived, but a look of disappointnt quickly took over her beautiful countenance. "From the looks of it, you failed?"

Upon hearing her words, Lu Tianzi could not help but let out a helpless smile.

Indeed, the original plan had been to ta the God of Pestilence as his contract beast.

Since Lu Tianzi appeared here without the God of Pestilence beside him, it was perfectly natural for Nanlan Qianxue to assu that Lu Tianzi had failed to do so.

"Yeah, it was beyond after all," Lu Tianzi sighed. "However, I did gain sothing else out of it, so that's not too bad."

"Mm," Nanlan Qianxue nodded in understanding.

The fact that Lu Tianzi was able to appear here without the God of Pestilence had more or less confird his failure in taming the beast. But at the sa ti, it also ant that Lu Tianzi must have defeated the God of Pestilence.

Otherwise, there was absolutely no way that the God of Pestilence would have allowed Lu Tianzi to just stroll up to its nest.

An Orign Core realm beast's body was full of treasures.

Not only would there be a mid ranked beast core that would be extrely beneficial to Essence Condensation realm martial artists like them, the parts of the body could also be used as materials for other items, allowing them to fetch an exorbitant price in the market.

When Lu Tianzi said that he had gained sothing else out of this, Nanlan Qianxue had imdiately assud that Lu Tianzi was referring to obtaining the carcass of the God of Pestilence.

Never in her wildest imaginations would she have guessed that Lu Tianzi had just successfully absorbed the primal bloodline of the God of Pestilence, even refining the bloodline purity in the process!

"In the end, my presence here has been completely unnecessary!" Nanlan Qianxue sulked jokingly. "Even with how long you took, not a single beast ca by the entire ti."

"Isn't that a good thing? Why would you want any beast to appear here?" Lu Tianzi laughed before stepping forward to look into the pit.

Right there, in the middle of this small pit, was a white flower in full bloom.

Lu Tianzi had noticed this white flower the previous ti he ca, and had been intrigued by how it was able to bloom beautifully in this land of decay.

Thus, he had asked Nanlan Qianxue for help in guarding the flower while he took care of the God of Pestilence, just in case other beasts tried to steal the flower in its absence.

But from the looks of it, he had overthought matters.

He did not know if the beasts in the surroundings had managed to sense the demise of the God of Pestilence. If they did, then it seed like they had already been conditioned not to enter this domain of decay, almost to the point of being brainwashed.

Not that Lu Tianzi was complaining.

Now then, just what exactly is this white flower?

Lu Tianzi stepped into the small pit, carefully approaching the flower with Nanlan Qianxue following closely behind.

Blooming from a bed of withered grass, the white flower emitted a clean and refreshing energy that cald the minds of anyone who approached, a direct contrast from the aura of decay that filled its surroundings.

Not just that, but there was also a huge well of spiritual energy within the flower itself.

Lu Tianzi imdiately understood that this store of spiritual energy must have been what protected the flower from the aura of decay in the surroundings, allowing it to bloom beautifully in a condition where few other plants could survive.

"So, what is this flower? It should be quite valuable, shouldn't it?" Nanlan Qianxue asked curiously. "The God of Pestilence has been personally caring for it after all!"

"No idea," Lu Tianzi shook his head helplessly. "I have never seen any records of such a flower before."

"Oh? What should we do with it then?"

"I would have to study it a bit more in order to understand better. But this is neither the ti nor place to do so." Lu Tianzi pondered. "Give so ti. I am trying to find a way to remove the spiritual flower without damaging it."

Even though Lu Tianzi was unable to recognise the spiritual flower, it did not take long for him to at least identify so of its obvious traits, allowing him to think of a safe way of removing the spiritual plant from the ground without damaging it.

Lu Tianzi carried out the process with absolute concentration, not wanting to risk any accidents.

There were many types of spiritual plants, and so were especially delicate.

Since he did not know the full properties of this white flower, Lu Tianzi dared not get careless. After all, every bit of damage to this unknown flower could possibly result in it becoming completely worthless.

It was not until he stored it in his spatial ring did Lu Tianzi finally let out a deep sigh of relief.

"That was actually quite fascinating to watch," Nanlan Qianxue remarked from the side at this point.

After hearing so many stories about herbalism from Lu Tianzi, this was actually the first ti that Nanlan Qianxue had ever seen Lu Tianzi carry it out. At that mont, she could not help but feel a little awed by the pure concentration and skill that Lu Tianzi had exhibited throughout the process.

"There will be plenty of chances for you to watch this in the future," Lu Tianzi smiled in response. "Let's go. It is ti to return to Xian Village."
