In the end, Beiqian Zuo's team never managed to find the mbers of the extraction team.

After all, it was not like they could just move around freely like it was their own backyard.

No matter what, this was still a battlefront against the Dragon Cauldron Army, and there was always the risk of being discovered by the enemy.

Even as Origin Core realm experts, they dared not push their luck too far.

No, perhaps it was especially because they had painstakingly reached the Origin Core realm that they were unwilling to put themselves at risk.

Back then before Lu Tianzi left the scene, he had spent a bit of ti digging a huge ditch in order to bury the corpses, and it turned out to be the right decision.

With the little amount of freedom that they had to work with, there was simply no way that Beiqian Zuo's team would bother searching for such subtle traces of the extraction team.

Then again, even if the extraction team had been found, Beiqian Zuo would never in his wildest dreams imagine that the entire extraction team had been taken out by Lu Tianzi.

There might have been rumours floating around, stating that Lu Tianzi was already able to match Origin Core realm martial artists. However, not even Formation Master Beimu had believed in the rumours, not to ntion soone who was already biased against the youngster.

With no leads to work on, Beiqian Zuo had no choice but to let the matter rest, returning to the army camp empty-handed.

Still, the battle might have been over, but the war continued.

Now that both armies had their ranks bolstered by considerable reinforcents at the Second Battlefront, the intensity of the fight there quickly escalated beyond what the other battlefronts were experiencing.

It did not take long before Lu Tianzi had to leave for battle once more.

The Dragon Cauldron Army seed to have been enraged by the Scarlet Moon Army's assault on their recovery tents. In the following few days, the Dragon Cauldron Army sent out multiple regints to strike at the Scarlet Moon Army.

General Mojian sent out their own regints in response, and Elder Mingxin's battalion naturally had to get involved as well.

Each battle was a clash between multiple regints, creating a grand scene of absolute carnage.

But as always, the battles at the Origin Core realm remained relatively free of casualties. There were a few overzealous ones who perished, but most of them were careful enough to avoid eting their ends.

The fights on the ground, however, always ended up with large numbers of injuries and deaths.

After a few battles, there were so individuals who exhibited fearso combat prowess, causing their nas to spread.

Among them were mostly young talents who managed to put on decent performances. But the more exceptional ones included Beimu Fei and Beiqian Ming of the Four Stars, proving once again that they deserved their reputations as the leaders of the younger generation.

However, there was one particular na that stood out distinctly from the rest.

Nanlu Tianzi, top ranker of the Scarlet Moon Heroes et.

After a few battles, his na had beco well known even among the forces of the Dragon Cauldron Army.

As an Essence Condensation realm martial artist, he did not have the qualificiations to join the battles in the sky. But at the sa ti, there was not a single person at the Essence Condensation realm who could stop him.

In front of Lu Tianzi, the chaotic battles served only as a tempering ground where he could absorb more primordial Slaughter Essence to consolidate his cultivation.

Whenever he joined the fray, the number of casualties on the enemy's side would skyrocket.

Against his unfathomable strength, all of his opponents were left completely helpless, destined to fall to his dual sword and sabre.

As long as the banner of Elder Mingxin's battalion appeared on the opposing side of the field, it would strike fear into the hearts of everyone below the Origin Core realm, dissipating whatever semblance of morale they originally had.

Against the terror known as Nanlu Tianzi, there was no need to talk about defeating him.

As long as they managed to survive long enough for the battle to end, it would already be considered as a small victory!

On this day, Elder Mingxin's battalion once again set out to engage the enemy.

This ti, they were headed for a large scale battle, but no one was afraid.

After all, they had the fearso Nanlu Tianzi on their side. So what did they have to fear?

Lu Tianzi, too, was relatively calm as they headed to battle.

Over the past few weeks, he had co to understand how these battles were being fought.

The Origin Core realm martial artists seed to abide by an unwritten rule to always fight in the sky, separating their battles from those beneath the Origin Core realm. According to Elder Mingxin, this was because it would be far too easy for Origin Core realm experts to massacre those who had yet to reach the Origin Core realm.

If both sides acted without scruples and sent out Origin Core realm martial artists to massacre those of a lower cultivation level, then the losses incurred by both sides would reach such a ridiculous level that no matter who won or lost, both kingdoms would end up crippled by the war.

No matter the reason, such a rule worked perfectly in Lu Tianzi's advantage.

With his current level of strength, if no Origin Core realm martial artists ca over to stop him, there was hardly anything that he needed to be afraid of anymore!

"Inscription Master Nanlu, why don't I see any tension on your face? You look more like you are going for a stroll than going to battle!" Nanlan Qianxue asked jokingly.

"Hahaha, with Squad Leader Nanlu's strength, going to battle is naturally just like going for a stroll!" Juncheng laughed.

"Yeah, Brother Nanlu has been really impressive over the past few weeks," Nanqing Haowen smiled as he added.

"I think that's enough complints. Anymore and I might just start thinking I am the strongest person in the world," Lu Tianzi laughed.

"That might just be a matter of ti!" Juncheng followed up imdiately.

While serving as a deputy under Lu Tianzi for this period of ti, Juncheng had enjoyed a front row seat for the various feats accomplished by the youngster. Now, Juncheng's confidence in him had already reached an extrely high level, almost to the point of worship.

Hearing Juncheng's words, the others could not help but laugh.

No one said a word. But in the back of their minds, all of them were inclined to believe what Juncheng had just said.

Perhaps with the passing of ti, this talented youngster who was still at the Advanced Essence Condensation realm could really grow to beco the strongest person to ever walk these lands!

"Enough chit chat, get into position!" Elder Mingxin's stern voice sounded out in their ears. "We are about to et the enemy."

"Yes, Commander!"

Upon her reminder, the few of them quickly got to their assigned spots.

It was just as Elder Mingxin said. Before long, they could already see their enemies lined up neatly in the distance.

Even though it was only one of the five battlefronts in the Central Battlefields, the area encompassed within the Second Battlefront stretched on for hundreds of kilotres. In such a vast area, multiple battles could be fought simultaneously.

This battle that they were about to be a part of was just one of the many.

Yet incidentally, there was a familiar face here with them.

"I hope you and your troops will show that you deserve your newly gained reputation!" Beiqian Zuo comnted snidely.

"We will be just fine. Please take care of yourself!" Elder Mingxin snapped in response.

After the earlier confrontation, the two of them had remained on bad terms.

It had not been a problem since they had always been deployed separately. But this ti, they would be fighting alongside each other for the first ti since then.

"Tch!" Beiqian Zuo turned his attention away and back to the enemies before them. "Get ready for battle!"

The Origin Core realm martial artists of both sides soared into the sky, resolutely staring down each other.

Below, the different battalions ford up side by side, ready to move at any mont.

"Charge!"

When the command was given, those on the ground rushed forward valiantly, determined to break apart their opponents' ranks.

"Stay close! Don't stray from your positions!" Lu Tianzi called out before leading the charge for his battalion.

Colourful lights filled the skies as the Origin Core realm martial artists began to engage their enemies, overshadowing the far more bloody and brutal fight below.

Even so, not every Origin Core realm martial artist was actively participating in the fights.

On the side of the Dragon Cauldron Army, two Origin Core realm martial artists actually chose to hang back and observe the situation instead.

"That is definitely the banner of Battalion Commander Mingxin, which ans that we are at the right place. How is it? Are you able to find him?" a fierce looking man asked his companion.

The fierce looking man had a well built body, sharp facial features, and black hair tied neatly into a long braid. Just like the others in the sky, he was an Origin Core realm martial artist, a man widely known as Chiren.

Right now beside Chiren was an old man whom Lu Tianzi, or anyone in the assault party, would be able to recognise imdiately.

He was none other than the Origin Core realm expert who had repelled them from the enemy camp during their assault operation.

"But of course. He is right there," the old man pointed down in the direction of a specific person towards Lu Tianzi.

Oblivious to the extra attention that he was receiving, Lu Tianzi continued to plow through his enemies. His squad mbers rode on his montum, steadily pushng forward as an unstoppable unit.

It was quite the imposing sight, but Chiren was not at all impressed.

"So this is the infamous Nanlu Tianzi? Doesn't look like anything special to ," Chiren let out a condescending smirk.

"Don't underestimate him. I'm sure you can see that he is no ordinary Essence Condensation realm youngster," the old man warned solemnly.

"Just because he managed to escape from you?" Chiren shook his head in disapproval. "You are really getting old now, even a youngster like that managed to give you the slip."

The old man frowned. "Don't forget General Longming's instructions. If you do not heed the Commander's instructions, I would have no choice but to report the matter to him."

"Hahaha, co on, I was just joking! Don't be so serious!" Chiren laughed before turning his attention back to the ground. "You can rest assured and keep watching. Let show you just how easy it is for to deal with soone below the Origin Core realm!"

The old man watched on as Chiren flew off instantly, not bothering to wait for a reply.

Chiren was at the Third Cycle Origin Core realm, two whole boundaries above the old man. Logically, soone like Chiren should not have any issue with taking care of an Essence Condensation realm junior.

Yet the old man simply could not shake the uneasiness in his heart.

Back then, didn't he also feel full of himself, thinking that he would be able to easily capture that sa Essence Condensation realm junior?

However, the results proved him otherwise.

This ti, General Longming had specifically assigned this task to Chiren.

Even though it ant going against the unwritten rule of war, the old man agreed wholeheartedly with General Longming's decision to do so. After all, this Nanlu Tianzi posed too much of a threat if left unchecked.

Now, he could only hope that Chiren would be able to accomplish what he had been tasked to do, and that history would not repeat itself once again!
