Chapter 70: The Gap

“Wait, You’ve actually done it before! I was just kidding!” Lu Chen looks at Zhang Jian in bafflent at how he would do anything for money. But after a mont, Lu Chen ca to a realization, “Actually, it’s not that surprising if it was you doing it tho.” He looks back at what Zhang Jian had done during his childhood, and selling his naked photos doesn’t sound too far off from how he usually acts.

"Well, yes, I did it for-!" Zhang Jian was about to explain the reason why he sold naked photos of himself, but the man wasn’t going to give him a chance to speak. Before he could say anything else, Lu Chen places his hands over his mouth, and only mumbles were coming out of Zhang Jian’s mouth.

“I don’t want to hear your reason for doing it. Knowing you, it’s probably sothing stupid.” Lu Chen retorts. Zhang Jian had already done a lot of ridiculous stuff to the point that Lu Chen wasn’t surprised if he had said they he took the picture for soda.

“Mmmmm.” Zhang Jian was trying to say sothing, but Lu Chen was holding onto his mouth tightly, and only spit was going onto his hand.

“What?” Taking his hand of his friend’s mouth, Lu Chen was about to let him speak, but then he notices a large amount of saliva on his hand.

“Eww, disgusting.” Lu Chen starts to wave the excess saliva off his hand, and then he wipes his hand onto Zhang Jian’s clothes to dry it off.

“WHAT THE F*CK MAN!” Zhang Jian never expects that Lu Chen would wipe his own saliva onto his uniform. Before he could say anything to him, Lu Chen was already running away. Zhang Jian didn’t need any words to tell as he follows suit.

“Zhang Jian, chill out! It’s your saliva anyway!“ The mont he saw Zhang Jian chasing him, Lu Chen increases his speed.

“Get back here! If I don’t beat you up today, My na is not Zhang Jian!” Zhang Jian screams.

I don’t care if this was my saliva or not. It’s about the principal, you buttmunch! Zhang Jian increases his speed.

Lu Chen arrives at the classroom first, and when his classmates saw him enter, they greet him.

“Hello, classmate Lu Chen.”

“Good morning, Lu Chen.”

“Brother Chen, good morning.”

Seconds later, Zhang Jian ca into the classroom, and the other students greet him.

“Good morning, playboy Zhang.”

“Hi, playboy Zhang.”

“What's up, playboy Zhang.”

Zhang Jian wanted to beat Lu Chen, but instead, he was tearing up from their greeting.

What’s with the difference in greeting?!

He heard the kind greetings that Lu Chen was getting from the students outside the hallway. Compare to the warm kindhearted greeting Lu Chen was getting, what he got was a soulless greeting using his nickna. But more importantly, only the guys had greeted him. Not a single girl greets him. It was like they hadn't noticed that he ca into the room.

Ladies, are you trying to get into his good gracious or sothing? I know he is handso, but co on! I'm more good-looking than him! Zhang Jian wants to say it to the entire class, but he couldn't. After yesterday's incident, the whole classroom was gazing at him in disgust or sympathy. He could only watch in envy as Lu Chen was being eyed at by all of the girls. All that anger that he had now had turned into jealousy.

Lu Chen gave them a light smile, "Good morning, classmates," and walks to his seat. He knew that yesterday’s stunt probably had changed his classmate’s outlook on him. However, he still a sense of awkwardness when talking to them, but he was still able to give a greeting to them out of politeness.
