Chapter 668: Clean
"Today is a great day!" Lu Xiaotong said with a bright smile. Lu Chen had stayed ho. He was indifferent to everything his father said.
"What happened?" Zhang Wenling was the sa as she stared at her husband.
"I've got into a great investnt! I will be investing in the Jiang family's company." Lu Chen didn't understand and didn't care about it. But as ti went on,
"What do you an your company got wasted?!" On the phone, Lu Xiaotong roared. This was the first ti he heard his father so furious.
"Where are you?! Don't you dare-dammit!" Lu Xiaotong slamd his phone to the ground. He noticed his son at the door,
"Sorry, Xiao Chen. I didn't want you to see that."
"It's fine."
"Keep it a secret from everyone else."
"Understood." Lu Chen nodded and walked away. But he didn't know at that ti that this was the starting point for everything to go wrong.

Dammit! Lu Chen knew what happened next. Once the investnt fell through, the Lu family lost a good chunk of its wealth. And that led to more openings for competition to attack. That was why he didn't want Lu Xiaotong to do it. As he thought about what to do,
"Young master, is sothing the matter?" Elder Wu entered his room and asked. He noticed sothing wrong with Lu Chen throughout dinner.
His face was pale as he listened to Lu Xiaotong talking.
"Elder Wu, I need your help on sothing." Lu Chen's eyes were dead as he said this. It was sothing he never saw before.
"I want you to find everything you can on the Jiang family and his investnt." He didn't have any information on the Jiang family now and in the past. He needed to figure out what was the problem with it and nip it in the head.
"Understood." Elder Wu didn't wait as he got to work. Lu Chen lay in his bed.
I'm not going to let this happen again!

"What? You didn't find anything on them?" Lu Chen's expression was in shock at this revelation. It has been 2 days since Lu Chen asked Elder Wu to search for the Jiang family.
Elder Wu shook his head, "I've searched them. But there's nothing wrong with the company." The Jiang family was clean. There wasn't anything wrong with it.
"What?! Master, are you sure?" Kang Shuchun frowned. How could the young master be wrong?
Elder Wu nodded, "I've used my connections to check the Jiang family. There was nothing wrong with them."
"..." Lu Chen didn't say anything as he went into thinking. What could be wrong? How could the company be cleaned?! He rembered pieces of the conversation. After the investnt got scrapped, the Jiang family ran away.
And the past too. Since coming back to the past, maybe the Jiang family was better? The tiline could have been altered. But,
I can't risk it. Even if the Jiang family had changed, if there was a sliver of a chance he didn't, Lu Chen won't risk it. As he thought about what to do next,
"Brother Chen! I need your help!" Zhang Jian ca rushing into his office again!
"What do you need help with?" Lu Chen asked. He needed to clear his head with sothing. Zhang Jian brought up two different toners.
"These two companies want to endorse ! But I don't know which one I should choose!"
"..." Are you seriously asking sothing like that?
"The right one is great for my skin and makes it smooth and soft. But the left one makes my skin feel refreshed, and there's more too."
"Can't you endorse both?" Lu Chen asked. But Zhang Jian retorted,
"Of course not! These two companies are rivals! There's no way they're going to let endorse both! And- hey, why are you looking at like that?" Zhang noticed the weird look Lu Chen had.
"Zhang Jian! You're a genius!"
