Chapter 662: He Asked To Watch Over You
Feng ifeng turned to see it was Kong Qingzhu. And her tired face distorted into a frown.
"What do you want, senior Kong." Feng ifeng's voice was hoarse. She heard about her. Kong Qingzhu was one of the campus belles of this college.
"Can I speak with you alone?" Kong Qingzhu scratched her head. She could feel the hostility coming from Feng ifeng. And she knew she had to fix this.
"There is nothing to talk about." Feng ifeng didn't look at her and turned away. Feng ifeng could still rember it; Lu Chen talking to this girl behind her back.
"This is a misunderstanding." Feng ifeng ignored Kong Qingzhu's words as she grabbed her drink.
"There's nothing to misunderstand." She walked out of the cafe. But Kong Qingzhu followed after her.
"Let explain."
"I don't-"
"He was scouting !" Kong Qingzhu scread out. She knew Feng ifeng wouldn't listen to her. She needed to scream it out to let her know before she could say anything else.
And that did the trick. Feng ifeng stopped in her tracks as she turned to look at Kong Qingzhu, "What do you an?"
"The reason why Lu Chen and I were having a conversation was he wanted to scout to ARCS." Kong Qingzhu repeated.
"..." Feng ifeng's eyes widened, but it turned to hesitation, "Do you expect to believe that?" She knew about Lu Chen owning his own company. But there was too much of a coincidence.
"Here, this is the contract he handed to ." Kong Qingzhu took out a folder. Lu Chen gave her the contract to look over. Seeing this, Feng ifeng took it up and began to look through it.
No words ca out of Feng ifeng's mouth as she stopped looking at the contract. It was legit.
"Can we sit down and talk?" Kong Qingzhu asked, and Feng fieng nodded. The two sat down on a bench.
"I should start from the beginning." Kong Qingzhu began as she explained how she t Lu Chen at the coffee shop and how he wanted to scout him from there.
"So everything that happened was an occurrence?" Feng ifeng didn't want to believe it. But it made sense why Lu Chen ca to et her.
Seeing her silent again,
"Umm, I don't know what happened between you and Lu Chen, but I think there might be a misunderstanding." Kong Qingzhu added.
"Misunderstanding? How can there be a misunderstanding? He only thinks of as a fling." Kong Qingzhu may not have been the one to do it, but what about Ye ixiu? That one was crystal clear.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Kong Qingzhu retorted.
"Huh?"
"I know that he likes you a lot. He did ask to watch over you." Kong Qingzhu revealed.
"!"
"Yeah. After helping with my issues, Lu Chen asked to watch over you. He was worried that you wouldn't know the facilities here."
"..." He did that? Feng ifeng's thoughts were a ss. She clenched her hand tightly.
"I don't know your situation, but maybe there's more to ets the eye to your situation." Kong Qingzhu added.
"..."
"I will go now." Seeing how much Feng ifeng was in thought, it was for the best to leave her alone to think.
"...Did he ask you to tell all of this?" Feng ifeng asked. But Kong Qingzhu smiled and shook her head,
"No, I ca here of my own volition."
