Chapter 658: Watch Over Her
"Are you sure you only want this?" Lu Chen asked. The two left the store. In Kong Qingzhu's hand were a couple of bags.
Kong Qingzhu shook her head, "This is more than enough. I think I brought too much!" She was surprised by the number even now. And she could only think about the cost right now.
"Are you sure I can buy this much?" She was still hesitant. Lu Chen didn't let her leave until she got at least 8 pieces. She didn't know the price as Lu Chen swiped his card before she could see it.
"It's fine. You don't have to worry so much about cash." After all, I'm using the guy's money. With how much he took from Wen Peng, there was no need for Kong Qingzhu to fret.
"Mr.Lu, I can't thank you enough for everything you bought for ."
"You think this is it?"
Kong Qingzhu's blinked her eyes, and Lu Chen laughed, "Clothing isn't the only thing you need." With that, Lu Chen brought Kong Qingzhu over to so other stores that were around. He wanted to buy her all the essentials.
"..." Kong Qingzhu had no words to say. After going through two other stores, her hands were stacked with bags.
Noticing her expression,
"You don't have to worry about anything. If you want to repay , work hard when you co to ARCS." Lu Chen smiled.
"Understood!" Kong Qingzhu nodded. As they walked towards the car,
"Also, can you do sothing for ?" Lu Chen's voice turned hesitant as he said this.
Kong Qingzhu, "What do you need to do?"
"Can you watch over a person? She's in the sa university as you."
"Who do you need to watch over?" Kong Qingzhu asked.
"The girl from last ti." Lu Chen said calmly, "She's a freshman and probably doesn't know anything there. I want you to keep her safe."
"..." Kong Qingzhu's eyes widened, but she nodded, "Understood. I will watch over her."
"Good. Now let's go buy other things."
"There's more!"
"Of course. There's also skin-care products and shoes." Lu Chen said cooly as he dragged Kong Qingzhu into another store.

"Thank you for everything!" Kong Qingzhu thanked Lu Chen. He drove her back to her university. Lu Chen shook his head,

"It's fine. Use it for your daily necessities." Lu Chen added.

"See you later." Lu Chen didn't say anything else as he drove off.
Why did I ask her that? Lu Chen questioned himself. He didn't understand now that he thought about it. Why did he ask Kong Qingzhu to watch over Feng ifeng?
Can't believe I drove here. The park. Lu Chen drove over to a place that only Feng ifeng and Lu Chen knew about.
