Chapter 647: Hit In The Face

"Kong Qingzhu, what is your decision?" He knew he had to regain focus. He ca here to see whether or not Kong Qingzhu would join his company.
But to his surprise, Kong Qingzhu shook her head, "I'm sorry. But I can't join your company."
"!" Lu Chen was shocked that she would reject him. Lu Chen asked, "May I know why?"
"I have sothing I have to focus on. And I don't think I could be an actress." Kong Qingzhu's expression turned tense as she said this.
Sothing is wrong with her. Lu Chen felt sothing very off. And he asked again,
"Is sothing the matter? If you need help, I-"
"No! There's nothing you need to worry about!" Kong Qingzhu shouted loudly. And she realized it too. She quickly stood up and bowed, "I'm sorry! But I can't join ARCS!" She didn't look back as she quickly ran away.
"..." Lu Chen was speechless.

The next day,
"Guff!" Lu Chen was blown away as he fell to the ground! Wu Zhen and Huo Dong looked in shock. Kang Shuchun scread,
"Young master!" Kang Shuchun ran to his side. She tried to pick him up from the ground. Lu Chen waved his hand, "It's fine. It's only a light wound." But the big bruise on his face said sothing else.
Kang Shuchun touched the wound gently. But then glared at Wu Zhen!
"You're looking to die today!"
"Eep!" Wu Zhen quickly hid behind Elder Wu. Knowing that he was safe, "It's not my fault! I thought the young master would dodge it!"
"But you still hit him." Kang Shuchun cracked her knuckles.
"..." This unreasonable tigress!
Lu Chen spoke up, "Shuchun, I'm fine."
Kang Shuchun paused. Since Lu Chen said it, she had to stop. But she still glared at him, "I'll see you later."
"..." I'm still going to die?!
Not focusing on his son's despair, Elder Wu frowned as he looked at Lu Chen. But then he said, "Young master, go back inside and get your face treated."
"Understood." Lu Chen walked away. Elder Wu looked at Kang Shuchun, "Shuchun, go with the young master. Keep him company."
"Really?! Are you serious?!" Well, even if Elder Wu didn't tell her to go, she would still go. Kang Shuchun quickly ran after Lu Chen.
If Kang Shuchun stayed here longer, she thought Elder Wu would change his mind.
"Dad, I really didn't an to hurt the young master." Wu Zhen was surprised by it too. Lu Chen was always the type to dodge his attack.
Lu Chen getting hit in the face was too shocking.
