Chapter 602: You’re The CEO?!
The two girls sighed in tiredness as they sat down in the lounge. It was going to be a tireso day for the two of them.
It didn't take long before soone ca down to pick them up. The person who ca wasn't Duan Huiling.
"Greetings, Mr.Bai and Mr. Huang." It was none other than Chu Jingyi! He was calm as he greeted them.
"Oh, it's you." It's been a while." Huang Muyang and Bai Geming returned his greeting. This wasn't the first ti they had t him.
Chu Jingyi t the two elders before at a party. Rare, but he talked to them once when Tan Quan introduced him.
Chu Jingyi nodded, "I'll lead you guys to the CEO."
"How is the CEO?" Huang Muyang asked as the five walked,
"The CEO is having fun in Hawaii. He's chilling and having a fun ti relaxing over there." Chu Jingyi and Tan Quan still talked with each other. And the elder was sending pictures of him and his family in Hawaii. It was a happy thing.
"That's good. When I heard about old Tan stepping down from Silverlight, I was surprised." Chu Jingyi was at the top. So when the news said that he had left Silverlight, it was shocking.
"Haha, it was a sudden change." Chu Jingyi gave a wry laugh. It was a hostile takeover.
"But why did you join ARCS?" Bai Geming asked. Even if his reputation was hurt, the man still could still work in a middle-tier company. That was how talented he was.
"Haha. That's because this company is ruined by a genius."
"Really?" Huang Muyang asked.
"I've bet in a couple of years, he will make the company superior to Silverlight." Chu Jingyi said with a confident expression.
"You're that serious?" Huang Muyang was curious. There was no doubt or stuttering in his words. That goes to show how confident he was of the CEO.
"Mmhmm." Chu Jingyi calmly said as they continued to walk.
"We're here." Chu Jingyi knocked on the door, "CEO, I've arrived."
"Co in." The voice said, and the five entered. Huang Muyang and Huang Mingyue were shocked when they saw who sat in the center.
"Hello." Lu Chen smiled.
"You're the CEO?!" Huang Muyang shouted!
Lu Chen laughed, "Of course, I'm the CEO. What did you think I was?"
"Model."
Lu Chen scratched his head, "That was a one-ti thing with ." That was a special case. Lu Chen turned to Chu Jingyi, "Jingyi, thank you for bringing them here. You should go." He knew Chu Jingyi was practicing.
"It's fine, CEO." Chu Jingyi smiled as he walked away. It was now the six of them here.
"Please sit down. Shuchun, can you prepare tea for our guests?" Lu Chen turned to Kang Shuchun. The latter nodded.
"Please take a seat." Lu Chen signaled them to sit down. And they did.
It didn't take long for Kang Shuchun to co back with the cups of tea.
"Please try so." Before they drank the tea, Huang Muyang paused and stared at it. But then he shouted, "Hey! This is the tea you stole from !"
"Mmhmm."
"Huh?" Bai Geming was confused as to why he shouted. He drank the tea. His eyes went wide, "Isn't this Longjiang tea!" He was surprised. He didn't expect he would be drinking this tea right here.
"Since the elders were coming, I prepared sothing nice." Lu Chen chuckled.
"You're doing this to piss off!" Huang Muyang retorted as he gritted his teeth. But Lu Chen shrugged it off,
"How am I supposed to know you would be coming here too, Elder Huang?"
