Chapter 492: The aftermath
Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang!
"Ahh." Lu Chen yawned as he started to wake up from his bed. Who's banging on my door so early in the morning.
Lu Chen grabbed his head as he looked at his door. There was a non-stop banging sound coming from it. Any second now, it looked like it was about to break. He looked at the clock, and it was only 7. Lu Chen sighed as he got up, ready to open it.
But the mont he unlocked it, it ca flying open!
"Lu Chen! There's a situation!" Two voices overlapped with each other as they scread. But when they looked into the room, Lu Chen was nowhere in sight.
"Huh? Where did he go?" Lu Hao looked around.
"Ughh." But they did hear a groaning sound.
Lu Aotian quipped, "I think you should look at the back of the door."
Lu Hao and Zhang Wenling swung the door back and heard a thud. It was the sound of Lu Chen falling to the floor.
He was hit dead in the face!

"Seriously, can you guys not act so crazy in the morning." Lu Chen rubbed his nose as he stared at the two culprits. I think they almost broke it. He almost couldn't feel it anymore.
Lu Hao and Zhang Wenling sat on the ground while the other three shook their heads.
Lu Aotian tried to soothe the situation,
"Now, now, Lu Chen. There is a reason why they were so excited."
"And what's the situation you want to tell ?" Lu Chen groaned. He was too tired to care about anything right now. He ca ho late yesterday. The two continued to have fun all the way to the night.
It was only until midnight that they got to leave. Lu Chen even told his company he would co in late as he needed to rest.
But Lu Hao explained,
"Little bro! You're on the internet!"
"Huh? Isn't that kinda usual?" Lu Chen didn't seem it was unordinary.
Zhang Wenling rolled her eyes at her son. She took out her phone, "Look at this!" She placed it right into Lu Chen's face. The titles said it all,
Young second-generation beat up a military officer with ease!
Looking at the first one, Lu Chen frowned. He clicked on the article, and there was even a video of him beating on Bai Lei like a drum. And the comnts were exploding!
"Damn! Is that scripted?! What is this?!"
"How could this be scripted?! Don't you know the Bai family, Bai Lei? That guy has been on the news!"
"And did you see how the kid slamd him down! That was definitely not scripted at all!"
Many comnts said it was fake, while others said it was real. They were split 50-50.
"Ok?" Lu Chen wasn't fazed.
"How are you not surprised?!"
"I think it was pretty obvious that people were going to talk about it." Lu Chen was slamming Bai Lei down. He knew this would cause a lot of attention to co his way.
