Chapter 393:Self Destruction
Over at Ling Wei's company,
"Dammit!" Right now, she was looking at a newspaper post talking about ARCS. The whole article talks about the concert last night. With the solid Chu Jingyi and the rising talent Zhang Jian, ARCS will beco one of the most popular companies.
'It was only one good concert! How can these people turn a 180 saying that they'll beco great!" At one mont, people have been denouncing ARCS for hiring Chu Jingyi. But now, they are consistently praising them.
Ling Wei just couldn't believe it. What made it worse was people kept going on about her, calling her out.
'Dammit! I can't do anything for a while!' With them being so famous now, more people will be swayed by their words. Even if she brings sothing out about them, people might not believe her.
What made it worse was Yi Ruolan. Ling Wei had given her money to shut her up. But the mont she got the money, she quickly fled, not wanting to deal with these problems.
She was about to rage, but the doors to her office exploded open!
"Aunt! I need your help!"
"Didn't I tell you before to knock when you co in?!" Ling Wei's voice was dark. She was already having enough trouble dealing with Chu Jingyi. She doesn't want to deal with anything else.
But Ling Chen doesn't realize his aunt's aura right now. He was crying as he shouted,
"Aunt! You have to save ! They are slandering !"
"....What did you do?" Ling Wei's expression turns darker, wondering what this fool did. But when she looks at Ling Chen's phone, he understands why.
There was a video of Ling Chen going at it with a couple of girls. And one girl, in particular, Ling Wei knows of. It was the pure one that she tried to use against Zhang Jian.
What made it even worse was the audio where Ling Chen kept asking the girl whether she liked Zhang Jian or him. And the girl spilled the beans on what Ling Wei did as well!
What in the world?!
Wow? Did the fa get to his head, and he can do whatever he wants?
Why put Zhang Jian's na in there? Just stop it. He's better than you in every single way. That's that.
Ling Wei! You are scum! How dare you try to bring brother Zhang Jian down?!
All the comnts kept coming out of Ling Chen's head.
"..." Ling Wei's expression was indescribable. No words can describe the anger and rage behind her face.
But Ling Chen doesn't seem to notice this and continues to plead, "Please, aunt! You have to do sothing about this! My reputation is going to be-"
Ling Chen got a response to all his pleading. He got a slap to his face!
! Ling Chen was so surprised that he couldn't feel the pain coming off his cheeks.
"Fuck off. Just fuck off." Ling Wei couldn't believe Ling Chen would do sothing this dumb. While she was fighting behind the scenes against Lu Chen and Chu Jingyi, this fool was having the ti of his life.
She can't believe it. Just couldn't believe it.
"Aunt, please! Don't you still need ?! I'm still a famous singer! I can still sing!"
"Retire! Sobody like you isn't needed! Screw off!" Ling Chen has been a pain in her ass. But Ling Wei thought he could be sothing.

"Security! Take this fool away!"
"Aunt! I'm begging you, please! Please, give one more chance!" Ling Chen continued to shout as he was dragged out of the company. Seeing him get dragged out, nobody seems to be sad about it.
Instead, they're happy.
Ling Chen always abused that he was Ling Wei's nephew. But now that he's gone, everything feels so much better.
Now that Ling Chen is out of the company, Ling Wei doesn't care about him anymore. What she was thinking about was how to deal with the damage.
With Ling Chen's reputation destroyed, she's next. As his blood relative, people are going to be targeting her next.
She has to make a post to minimize the damage. But she doesn't realize that Lu Chen isn't done.
