Chapter 385: The Start Of The Concert
A few weeks later, the concert finally began.
"Wow, to think there are so many people here?" Gong Changming says in shock. He looked out from backstage to find the entire hall filled with people.
Not a seat was empty.
"Is that brat really that famous?!" Gong Changming doesn't want to believe it. He shakes his head,
'No! It can't be possible! He's only a snot-nose brat that can't eat coriander!'
While Gong Changming continues to deny it, Lu Chen's behind him and explains,
"Most of them ca for Zhang Jian. However, a good portion also ca for Chu Jingyi." He looks proud at how many people had co for the two.
The reason why there are a lot more people is due to Yi Ruolan and Ling Wei. After a few days of the video being up, Ling Wei and Yi Ruolan made their own video.
It was an apology video, admitting to their mistake and apologizing to Chu Jingyi.
However, most of the comnts still ca to denounce them. It's clear to most that this was damage control. With the video being clear evidence, the best thing they could do is make ands for their mistake.
But what they did was extre. An apology like that wouldn't work that easily. Ling Wei and Yi Ruolan wanted to destroy Chu Jingyi's career. Lu Chen agreed with that. He was planning to make the situation much worse for them.
"Let's not do that. The two already apologized, and Yi Ruolan gave us compensation for all the damage she caused." That's what Chu Jingyi said. Lu Chen thought he turned weird.
How can he be so nice to the two? It's like leaving two snakes in his garden.
But Chu Jingyi added,
"We got to look at the bigger picture here. We can't be petty like the two and get revenge so quickly." Lu Chen smiled when he knew what Chu Jingyi ant.
"Go for it." Chu Jingyi noded and posted a comnt,
Please don't be so harsh on the two of them. These people have made a mistake. But everybody deserves a second chance. I've already forgiven them, so let's not be like them and strive forward.
When Chu Jingyi posted this, people couldn't believe how forgiving he was. People kept praising him for how kind and angelic he was being. More people beco die-hearted fans of his.
And what made it even better was people talking bad about Ling Wei and Chu Jingyi, saying that they were trash. That's what Chu Jingyi wanted. He wanted to make them look even worse.
"With the two of them together at the sa ti, people are bound to co." A legendary singer whose fa has increased from being misjudged and a new singer who has the ability to draw people in.
Who wouldn't want to see a concert with the two of them here?
"..." Gong Changming looks silently outside.
"If you think you didn't do anything, then you're wrong. You've played a large part in Zhang Jian becoming like this. So stand proud as the people who arrive here is because of you too." Lu Chen smacks Gong Changming on the back.
"Thanks, CEO." Gong Changming has a smile on his face.
"Can you go backstage and see if Zhang Jian is ok? Give him so of your usual pep talk to get him excited?" Knowing Zhang Jian, he might be sweating a bit.
"I got you. I'll give the brat my world-class pep talks to get ready!" Hearing that, Gong Changming nods and walks to Zhang Jian's dressing room.
Lu Chen knows Gong Changming and Zhang Jian would have an argunt. But he knows that would lighten up Zhang Jian's stress.
While he was thinking of this, Lu Chen's phone rang,
"Hello?"
"Xiao Chen, we are here. Can you co and pick us up?" Zhang Wenling calls him.
"Ok." Lu Chen closes the call and turns to Duan Huiling, "Huiling, I'm going to bring my parents to the VIP section. You stay here and take charge."
"Understand." Duan Huiling was doing so last-minute checks.
As Lu Chen walks out of backstage and into the crowd of people. He looks around and notices his family at the opening.
But they weren't alone.
Next to his family was Ye ixiu and Feng ifeng's family!
