Chapter 339: He got the approval
On the day of the barbeque, many people were there. Feng ifeng's parents have rented out a space for them to have this party.
As the kids ran around, the parents were talking to each other about their lives.
Everybody has a smile on their faces as they talk. Well, there's one person who wasn't. Feng fieng was fidgeting around, looking around.
Seeing this, Fu Chunhua shakes her head, "Xiao Feng, stop acting so worried. Xiao Chen is going to arrive later."
For the last few days, Feng ifeng acted crazy. She was like a pure maiden who fell in love for the first ti.
Yesterday, Fu Chunhua went to check up on Feng ifeng. She heard a frustrated scream coming from her room. When she checked, Feng ifeng was deciding on what to wear for tomorrow.
The final decision Feng fieng decided on was the dress Lu Chen bought. Compared to all the others, it was the best one.
"Do we have enough food? Do you need to buy more?" Ignoring what she said, Feng ifeng asks her mother a question instead.
Fu Chunhua sighs and bumps her in the head, "Stop worrying so much. We have enough." But Feng ifeng didn't believe it as she went back to check.
....For the seventh ti.
Seeing what she's doing, Fu Chunhua shakes her head.
"Chunhua, what's wrong with Xiao Feng? Why is she acting so troubled?" The person who asked her this is one of Fu Chunhua's friends. She wasn't alone as other housewives were there as well. They noticed how Feng ifeng acted.
"She's just suffering from a case of love." Fu Chunhua has a llow expression as she says this. But her words cause a giant explosion for the housewives!
"What?! Xiao Feng is in love?!"
"With who? Who could have stolen that little pepper's heart?!"
The housewives understood Feng ifeng. Ever since she was a child. Feng ifeng has never cared about love. So to see her fall in love is a strange sight.
"She has to grow up eventually. So, of course, she would fall in love." Fu Chunhua scoffs at them. But that didn't change the housewife's expression. It just made them look at her even more strangely.
"...Don't tell she fell in love with Lai Dingxiang?" Everybody knew about how Fu Chunhua wanted Lai Dingxiang to be with Feng ifeng.
Fu Chunhua makes a wry smile, "No, she fell in love with soone else."
"Thank goodness! For a second, I thought she was like you."
"Yeah! How could Lai Dingxiang ever be a match for Xiao Feng."
"Did you guys hear about Lai Dingxiang being sent to prison? I knew he was a bad person!"
All the housewives continue to talk bad about Lai Dingxiang. Despite Fu Chunhua liking him before, the other housewives didn't at all.
"..." Fu Chunhua could only scratch her head. She hasn't told anybody about what actually happened as she didn't want random rumors to pop out about her daughter.
But Fu Chunhua knew everything was her fault.
"Well, things have changed. I trust ifeng to choose the right person for herself. And let just say, my future son-in-law is great."
Fu Chunhua couldn't help but take pride in Lu Chen.
But for the other housewives, they only scoff at her.
"If he got your approval, then he's only diocre at best."
"I can't imagine that boy standing next to Feng ifeng now."
A vein bulges on top of Fu Chunhua's head, "Are you saying that my daughter has no taste in n?!"
"No. We're saying that you have no taste in n." Feng ifeng's preference was sothing they thought was normal. But with Fu Chunhua's seal of approval, they beca doubtful.
"Bleh! Once you guys see how he looks, you guys will be stunned and wish he was your son-in-law!"
The housewives continue to mock her, "We'll believe it once we see it."
"You-" Before Fu Chunhua could say anything, Feng ifeng ran past her. Fu Chunhua calls out,
"Xiao Feng, where are you running?"
"He's here! I'm going to et up with him first." Feng ifeng's voice grew distant as she scread this out. But Fu Chunhua got the ssage.
A big smile forms on her face as she turns back to her friend, "Get ready to be shocked now!"
