Chapter 335: Having everything now
Cao Wei opens the file to see a bunch of photos. His eyes go wide as he looks at them. After that, his whole face turns pale as a sheet of paper.
"Like what I have given you?" Lu Chen smiles as he says this.
"H-how did you find all of these?" Never did Cao Wei expect Lu Chen to find all this information.
"A little birdy told everything." The information He Tao has given him was so good that even he was smiling head to toe.
If the things the old CEO did are horrible, the stuff in the photos is ten tis worse! The reason why Cao Wei wasn't caught in his action is that he pulled so strings. He tried to hide it, wanting to forget it all.
"So, how do you want it? Do you hand your shares over, or do you want your life to rot away?" Lu Chen knew Cao Wei's between a rock and a hard place.
"You!" Cao Wei was about to snarl, but he stopped himself. 'That bastard betrayed .' The only way Lu Chen can get this information is from He Tao. He was confused why He Tao would betray him now.
He Tao was his most loyal dog. So for him to betray him,
'Did he find out what I did?!' Cao Wei's expression turns blank. That could be the only reason. He didn't think He Tao would find out what he did to his company.
But it makes sense. Cao Wei turns around to look at Lu Chen, who's still smiling at him.
That smile says it all. The only person who would find out all this information would be Lu Chen. Cao Wei wanted to glare at him, but he couldn't do a thing as Lu Chen glared at him harder.
"Are you going to give the shares or not?"
"Alright." Cao Wei gets out of his seat and walks over to the bookshelf. He pushes to the side, and there's a secret safe. Lu Chen continues to watch Cao Wei as he takes out the paper.
However,
"Die!" Cao Wei turns around quickly and pulls out a gun! Besides the files being in the safe, there was also a gun!
Cao Wei wasn't going to let Lu Chen get away with this. Not when he got so much information to end him.
However, how could Lu Chen not realize this? Before Cao Wei pulled the trigger, he moved to the side, dodging the bullet. He quickly dashed towards Cao Wei before he could fire a second shot.
Lu Chen quickly kicks Cao Wei's arm, making him drop the gun. Cao Wei doesn't have ti to react as Lu Chen grabs him and throws him to the ground.
He takes up the gun and points it at Cao Wei,
"Do you really think I wouldn't notice anything?"Lu Chen scoffs at him for trying to pull sothing like this.
"Are you going to be cooperative and hand it over, or do I have to unload so bullets into you?"
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
That's what Lu Chen thought right now. The only reason why he didn't pull the trigger yet was because he still needed Cao Wei to sign the shares over to him.
"..." Cao Wei went silent. His face is devoid of all life as he looks at a loaded barrel aid right between his eyes.
He knew this ti it was ga over.
Lu Chen doesn't need to say anything as he hands Cao Wei a pen.
Cao Wei begrudgingly signed the papers. Seeing how he signed the papers, Lu Chen smiles,
"Wise choice." Lu Chen didn't say anything more. Cao Wei looks like he aged a couple of years. But that doesn't matter to Lu Chen as he walks out of the house.
Seeing Lu Chen walk out of the house, Duan Cheng runs over, "Young master, is everything ok?!" When he heard the gunshot, Duan Cheng thought the situation beca worse.
However, he didn't move. Rembering what Lu Chen said, Duan Cheng made the call not to move.
"It was nothing." Lu Chen waves his hand, making it look like a small deal. He continues,
"You guys should go now. The cops should be on their way here."
"I understand." Duan Cheng screams, "Boys, let's go now!" With that, his n got into their vans and left the scene. Before Duan Cheng left,
"Young master, is this going to be the end?" Duan Cheng didn't want to et up with Lu Chen ever again. He felt his life was getting chipped away every ti.
"Who knows."
