Chapter 327: Passed away?
"It seems that you owe one now." Lu Chen glances at Duan Cheng. With the incident at school and with this, Duan Cheng owes him a big one.
"...I understand. What do you need to do?" Duan Cheng understood that he couldn't win against Lu Chen. Not with Elder Wu behind him. Even though Elder Wu continues to have a light smile; his eyes were saying;
Agree to it, or your life is mine.
In his heart, Duan Cheng was bawling his eyes out. How could the heavens forsaken him like this?!
Lu Chen smiles, "I only want you to do a few things." Zhang Jian and Gong Changming shiver. They knew Lu Chen was plotting sothing big.

Later that night,
Cao Wei right now was pacing back and forth in his penthouse.
'How does it take so long to deal with two kids?!' Cao Wei curses. He can't believe that it took so long. Before he can curse more, his phone starts to ring!
He opens his phone and asks, "Did you finish the job?!" His voice was anxious and eager.
"I have gotten it done." Duan Cheng's voice was dark. But for Cao Wei, his expression turns bright and happy. However, he got serious,
"Are you positive he's dead?" Cao Wei absolutely needs Lu Chen to be dead. That way, he would be able to take over the company.
"Are you questioning our ability?" Duan Cheng's voice turns darker. He couldn't believe that Cao Wei would be questioning his n's ability.
"No-No. I'm not questioning your ability. I just want to make sure the brat is gone."
"Hmpf. Don't worry, he won't be able to bother you." When Cao Wei hears that, he sighs in relief.
"So, where is the rest of the paynt?" Duan Cheng had only gotten a quarter of what Cao Wei promised to pay.
Cao Wei laughs, "I'll give you the rest right now. It'll co in a few minutes." He takes out his computer and sends the money over to Duan Cheng's bank account.
He doesn't wait for any confirmation from Duan Cheng as he closes the call. The mont he closes it,
"Hahahahahaha! How do you like that, you brat! Want to act smug with ? This is what you get!" Cao Wei laughs maniacally, rembering how Lu Chen acted smug against him.
Now the brat was five feet under. As Cao Wei continues to laugh, he calls soone,
"He Tao, get all the board mbers together tomorrow." The smirk on Cao Wei's face was huge as he said this.

The next day, Cao Wei was dressed in a black suit, engrained with gold. It's the most expensive suit he owned. He had also driven the best car outside the building.
Many gazes were staring at Cao Wei. Anybody could tell that he was rich. Seeing all of their looks, Cao Wei smirks,
He wanted everybody to know that he was there and he was going to be their new CEO.
When he walked into the building, a middle-aged man was there,
"He Tao, have you co and greet your new CEO?" Cao Wei laughs as he smiles. He Tao has been his underling for a long ti now. After Cao Wei was forced out of the company, He Tao beca his eyes and ears.
He was the person who kept telling him information about what was going on in the company.
He Tao tilts his head, wondering what he ant by this. Cao Wei waves him off,
"Have you gathered all the other board mbers here?" Cao Wei wanted every board mber to be there as he stated himself as the new CEO.
"Yes, all the board mbers are here today." Despite Cao Wei not being a board mber, he still has around a third of the shares.
He still got a lot of say in the company.
"Good." Cao Wei opens the door. There he sees the board mbers. Duan Huiling was standing beside the CEO's seat.
Her eyes squint as she asks,
"So why did you call all of us here today?" Knowing Cao Wei, she knows that he was after sothing.
"Can't you be more respectful to the second-highest shareholder?" Cao Wei curses her in his heart. But he had to focus as he says,
"I'm here to bring you so horrible news."
"Horrible news?" Duan Huiling's expression was cold as she didn't believe it. The only horrible news that she might be getting is another one of his stunts at becoming CEO.
"The CEO passed away."
