Chapter 299: Misjudgent
Lu Chen and Feng ifeng turn over. The two people look to be in their late forties. Instantly, Lu Chen knew they were Feng ifeng's parents.
The woman looks almost the sa as Feng ifeng.
"Lao Ma! Lao Ba!" Feng ifeng screams out, surprised that her mother and father ca out.
Feng ifeng's mother, Fu Chunhua, instantly hugs her daughter, "Thank goodness you are alright."
"Hmm?" Feng ifeng was confused. 'Why is she so concerned? Does she know about it?' From the phone call, Fu Chunhua didn't know what Lai Dingxiang did to her.
Did everything clear up? Fu Chunhua told her,
"Quickly, we need to go down to the police station. Dingxiang was just sent to jail!" After speaking with Feng ifeng, Fu Chunhua got a call from Lai Dingxiang's parents. They were in tears as they told her that Lai Dingxiang was sent to prison.
Fu Chunhua was about to bring her to the police station, but Feng ifeng stopped her, "Lao Ma, there is a reason why Lai Dingxiang was sent to prison." If Fu Chunhua wasn't forcing Feng ifeng to marry Lai Dingxiang, she would have thought Lai Dingxiang was her actual son.
"Nonsense! How could that be? Lai Dingxiang is a good boy. And didn't you two spend the night together? Why is he in jail, and you're right here?" Bombarded with questions, Feng ifeng turns red hot. She was about to say sothing.
"Aunty, This is going to be a long explanation. Let's go sowhere else and talk about it." Lu Chen spoke up. He knew the expression Feng ifeng ant.
It was the sign of her exploding in rage! Feng ifeng gave him a dirty look. However, Lu Chen gave her a look as well. Seeing it, Feng ifeng didn't say more as she huffed at him.
"Who are you?" Fu Chunhua glares at Lu Chen, scanning him up and down. She never heard her daughter talk about having any guy friends.
But then she realized the uniform he was wearing, and that glare turned frigid. Seeing this, Feng ifeng got in front of Lu Chen,
"He is my friend from school."
"Honey, let's return ho and talk about this. It seems there is more than ets the eye to this situation." Feng ifeng's father, Feng Qiang, said. He notices Feng ifeng wasn't wearing her school uniform.
There has to be sothing wrong that happened.
Fu Chunhua continues to give a frigid look to Lu Chen, but she nods. The four of them went to Feng ifeng's ho.
Fu Chunhua puts out tea for the four.
"Thank you." Despite thanking her, Fu Chunhua didn't respond to him. Feng ifeng gives her mother a scowl. However, she drank the tea,
"So here's what actually happened." Feng ifeng starts going into detail about what Lai Dingxiang did. How he tricked them and almost made her way with her.
Throughout the whole explanation, Fu Chunhua and Feng Qiang's expressions were changing at a rapid pace.
"That bastard!" Feng Qiang slams the table! He never liked Lai Dingxiang in the beginning. He didn't do anything to him as he didn't do anything to his daughter. However, he has taken it too far now.
Feng Qiang was ready to kill the guy!
"How could such a kind boy do sothing like that?!" The only person who didn't believe this is Fu Chunhua. When Feng ifeng heard that, she explodes,
"How many tis do I have to tell you, Lao Ma! I never liked him at all. He wasn't kind! He was cunning and evil!"
"That's a lie! Dingxiang was a kind boy! He was the perfect husband for you!" Fu Chunhua just wanted the best for her daughter. Lai Dingxiang was madly in love with her daughter. He would have done everything for her.
"I knew it! You'll never understand! "Feng ifeng gets up and runs into her room, slamming the door shut.
"How could she not understand that what I'm doing is all for her?!"
"Can you stop saying that the brat is a perfect match for our daughter?! Did you not hear what he did to our daughter?!" Feng Qiang couldn't stand it. A person like that would never be good enough for his daughter.
"You just can't see how perfect he was? Do you know how much he was in love with your daughter?!" Fu Chunhua continues to enforce it.
Before the two of them could argue,
"Can I say a few things?"
