Chapter 272: Free trip
The trip was sothing the school had so the students will have a day of destress. But it wasn't an ordinary school trip. The school would go all out.
Most students were cheering out loud. Even though the school is for the wealthy, most students wouldn't get a chance like this.

When it ends, Zhang Jian quickly asks Lu Chen, "Let's get sothing to eat." He wanted to leave so he wouldn't get bombarded. He could see so students, ready to ask him to sing.
"Sure." Lu Chen laughs. He knows Zhang Jian wouldn't be able to keep his sanity if the girls get close to him again.
Before the two left, Zhang Jian called out to Feng ifeng, "Class monitor, are you coming with us?"
"I'm going to eat with others." She glares at Lu Chen, "Besides, I don't want to be near a traitor." Feng ifeng didn't say anymore as she looked away from the two.
The entire class could clearly see the tension in the air.
Zhang Jian turns over to Lu Chen. He raises one of his eyebrows as he questions, "What did you do this ti?"
It's obvious Lu Chen is the cause of Feng ifeng's anger. When the two first entered class, Zhang Jian noticed that Feng ifeng walked to her seat without talking to Lu Chen like usual.
Lu Chen scratches his head. He knew he ssed up. He was going to apologize to her, but he didn't know what to say. To him, Feng ifeng looks like a ticking ti bomb. Anything he says could just detonate her.
"I'll tell you about-" Lu Chen was going to explain it to Zhang Jian later. But the opening of the door made him stop talking. Ye ixiu quickly rushes over to his side,
"Brother Chen, let's go eat now!" Ye ixiu latches onto Lu Chen's arm and drags him out of the room. Zhang Jian sighs as he follows after them.
"ixiu, you do know we don't need to get there so quickly." Lu Chen made a wry smile.
"But I'm so hungry today, and I'm super duper happy!"
"Did you get a good score on the Gaokao?" That could be the only reason.
Ye ixiu nods her head, "Of course, there's that." Like Feng ifeng, she also got into the 1 percent. However, she didn't feel happy with what she got on the Gaokao. It was to be expected of her.
'Thank goodness I got brother Chen away from that vixen.' She heard what Zhang Jian and Feng ifeng said before. Ye ixiu knew this was a good chance for her to take her brother Chen away.
"But brother Chen, I can't believe you got a perfect score on it though." Her eyes dazzled with worship towards Lu Chen.
"Even I'm surprised. Wait, how do you know I got a perfect score?"
"My teacher told . He told us the trip will be free to all the seniors, and it was all thanks to you."
Zhang Jian nods his head, "I figured as much." Now it's Lu Chen's turn to give him a weird look, "What do you an I figured as much? We were in the sa classroom."
Shaking his head, Zhang Jian explains, "Look around. Can't you see how the people are looking at you?"
Lu Chen looks around, and he finally notices it. The students were looking at him with awe and reverence.
"...So everybody knows about this?" Lu Chen pinches between his brows.
"Of course!" Ye ixiu and Zhang Jian said in unison. But Ye ixiu changes the topic,
"Also, brother Chen, I heard about sothing that happened to Long Shen."
"You an how he got beat up by Yao Shao? We were there when Yao Shao was beating the snot out of him."
Ye ixiu shakes her head and explains, "I heard from a friend, and she said that Long Shen was gritting his teeth when he got back his scores. The teacher was also looking at him with pity."
'He was still able to go to class?' Lu Chen didn't expect that. However, he laughs inside, knowing why Long Shen was gritting his teeth.
It wasn't surprising for Lu Chen. Being late on the first day and then not going for the next two days. It's obvious Long Shen got the worst score possible.
