Chapter 253: We wouldn’t want him to miss out on the fun
"I want you to do sothing for ." Lu Chen smiles. However, that smile made Duan Cheng even more suspicious of him.
"Why should I help you?!" Why should he have to help sobody that killed a quarter of their group?
"Shouldn't you help after I help you beco the leader?" After Gu Qingshan died, Duan Cheng beca the leader. Despite a smaller group, it was still formidable.
"Your group is so much better now that he's gone. Isn't it?"
"...What do you want to do?" Lu Chen's right. With him in charge, it was much better. More people treated their groups with seriousness.
Besides, there was no option for him. WIth Kang Shuchun and Elder Wu there, he couldn't reject it.
Lu Chen smiled, "Don't worry, I won't make your group suffer. In fact, I can make your group rich." With that, Elder Wu tosses a suitcase onto the table.
Duan Cheng opened the suitcase and saw a bunch of bills there. 'So much money.'
"This person was one of the reasons why you got attacked. You don't have to worry about the consequences." Lu Chen brought out a picture of Long Shen.
When Duan Cheng saw it was Long Shen, he felt furious. 'So that bastard is one of the causes!'
"Here is the location I want you to be in. And you can do whatever you want with the person. So do we have a deal?"
"We have a deal."The opportunity was too good for him to pass up.
Lu Chen smiles as he reminds him, "Also, there will be another person with him. Let him go."
"Yes, sir." Duan Cheng nods his head.

"Umm, young master Lu, is my family going to be targeted by the Ye family still?" That was the whole reason why he begged Lu Chen for help.
"Yeah. Your company will be fine now. You don't have to worry about it going down." It took him a few days, but Lu Chen got Ye ixiu to stop it.
'That girl was so stubborn.' The reason why it took him so long is due to Ye ixiu's stubbornness. He had to give up so of his days to hang out with her.
When Gao Jinhai heard that, he sighs in relief. All that work was worth it. But before he has ti to relax, another problem arises,
"Wait, is the Liu family going to co after now?" Thinking about it now, Liu Fei Fei was staring at him viciously as he talked down to Long Shen. It took all his ntal strength to ignore that glare.
'If the Liu family cos after now..." Gao Jinhai didn't want to imagine what was going to happen to him! After getting away from one large power, there was another one coming straight at him!
"You don't have to worry about it. The Liu family won't co after you." Liu Fei Fei couldn't do a thing about this. Lu Chen knows she can't ask her family for help. It's impossible.
She can't just say that she needs people to squash Gao Jinhai just because he slandered Long Shen. Even if she did, it would be useless.
"You should still lay low for a little bit though." Even though Liu Fei Fei doesn't have the power to fight for Long Shen, that didn't an she couldn't use it for herself. She could easily make a scenario with Gao Jinhai being a villain.
If that happened, it would definitely make everything he did go down the drain.
Gao Jinhai nods his head like a bobblehead, "I understand." He didn't need Lu Chen to tell him this as he was planning to do that!
And it was because of Lu Chen and Ye ixiu. He tried to hit on a girl he shouldn't have. That in itself made him want to slap himself to death!
Not realizing Gao Jinhai's thoughts, Lu Chen asks, "Did Yao Shao hear the recording you showed?" There were so many people there that he couldn't tell.
Gao Jinhai shakes his head, "No, he wasn't thee. From what I heard, he quickly left the school before the whole thing started." With that incident in the hallway, Yao Shao had been distancing himself from Long Shen.
When Lu Chen hears that, a big grin forms on his face, "Well, then. We wouldn't want him to miss out on all of this fun."
