Chapter 237: You owe one then
The call only lasted for a few minutes. But that's enough.
After getting off his phone, Qin Peng turns to Lu Chen. Nobody expects the next thing as Qin Peng starts slapping himself in the face! He screams,
"I'm so sorry, young master Lu! Please forgive ! I'm an idiot! I'm foolish for yelling at you-" Qin Peng lists off all the things he is.
Seeing how pathetic Qin Peng looked, Kong Qingzhu and the other girls look at him with eyes wide. They're surprised that Qin Peng is begging.
Why is a rich second generation like him bowing his head down so quickly?!
"Scram and don't bother no more." Lu Chen didn't really care about him. Long as he leaves, that would be the best.
'What did Elder Wu tell them?' The only thought he has right now is what did Elder Wu do? That call was instant.
And the outco was fear.
When he tells him to leave, Qin Peng's expression turns bright as he quickly runs out of the cafe. 'Thank goodness.' He thought he was going to die if he kept staying there.
A ringing sound ca from his phone, and when he opens it,
"You did well." A hoarse and ragged voice said through the phone.
"Now, get back ho and stay ho for a few days."
"Alright." Qin Peng felt he aged a few years.
'I can't believe I tried to cripple him.' He didn't think the young master of the Lu was there. When he got the phone call, his father was screaming at him left and right. He was confused as to why he's being yelled at. But he understood in the next second.
The company's stock went down dramatically! In just a few seconds, their stock prices have dropped by 10%. And the Qin's investnt partners have backed out.
Qin Peng's father was shocked to see what's going on. When he went around, trying to figure out what's going on, he fell off his chair!
He couldn't believe that his son had ssed with the third child of the Lu family! His father curses at how pigheaded his son was. After finding out, he imdiately told Qin Peng to beg for forgiveness. If not, he'll tear him apart!
Qin Peng sighs in relief that Lu Chen didn't do anything else to him. He continues to run away from the cafe, not wanting to stay there.
Inside the cafe, Lu Chen asks, "Is there sothing wrong with my face?" The girls were staring at him so blindly. A mix of glory and lust was coming off of their gaze.
It was so uncomfortable for him.
Kong Qingzhu shakes her head, "No! There's nothing wrong with your face. It's perfect!" When she said that, her brain exploded. 'Why did I say sothing like that?!'
"Heh." Lu Chen only chuckles from the complint. It's only a shallow complint. He hears it all the ti at school.
"Umm, are you a rich young master?" From what Lu Chen had done, Kong Qingzhu and the rest realize Lu Chen isn't an ordinary young master.
"Who knows." Lu Chen didn't say anything about it. It would be annoying if they know. Turning to Kong Qingzhu, "Also, shouldn't you have told that guy off sooner?" He felt all the problems wouldn't have happened if Kong Qingzhu had stood up to him.
Kong Qingzhu beca embarrassed. She explains quickly, "I'm sorry that you have to deal with it. He's been following around even after I told him off." Like a fly, Qin Peng continues to pester Kong Qingzhu.
Lu Chen sighs, "You owe one then."
"Thank you. My na is Kong Qingzhu. What's yours?" Kong Qingzhu was interested in his identity.
However, Lu Chen didn't say anything. When he heard her na, his face went wide-eyed. 'Kong Qingzhu?'
"When is your birthday?" Hearing his sudden question, Kong Qingzhu tilts her head, wondering why he asked.
"My birthday is March 26."
Lu Chen didn't say anything anymore. He took out a piece of paper and wrote on it. He hands it to her,
"Rember, you owe one." He turns to Zhang Jian, "Co on, let's go. It's ti now." Lu Chen left the cafe, and Zhang Jian wanted to cry.
'Co on! It was getting good!' Zhang Jian quickly chases after him, leaving the girls there.
