Chapter 233: Cooking
Elder Wu continues, not minding the blank stare Lu Chen has, "But it doesn't an you should train extra."
When Lu Chen heard that, his face froze, "I don't know what you are talking about, Elder Wu." Denial was the best thing he could do now.
"Don't lie, young master. The madam scread loud enough for everybody in a five-mile radius to hear. And I already know you have been training at the park."
Elder Wu sighs, "I'm going to tell you to stop training for a while. You realized it yourself. Your body needs to rest. It'll reduce your efficiency."
"Can't I do so light exercise?"
"Aren't you running? That's more than enough."
"....Fine." Lu Chen has no choice but to give up training for the next few days. When Elder Wu said that, he smiles and left the room, leaving Lu Chen to his thoughts.
'I guess I should start it.' Lu Chen takes out his phone and calls him, "Hey, Zhang Jian. Keep your schedule clear on the weekend. Co over to my house in the morning. We'll be going sowhere far away, so bring a car too."
Before Zhang Jian could say anything, Lu Chen closed the call.
"....."'Don't I get a say in this?' Zhang Jian wanted to throw himself out the window for picking up Lu Chen’s call.

After a few days of studying at school, the weekend has co.
'Dammit. I can't go to sleep!' Lu Chen has dark eyes under his eyes. For the past few days, Lu Chen had woken up at 4 in the morning.
Despite the gag order on training, Lu Chen's body didn't get the mo. It was still in workout mode. Even in the hospital, his body wanted to train.
'I guess I should make sothing to eat then.' Lu Chen walks downstairs to the kitchen. He hasn't made breakfast at all after coming back to the past.
Lu Chen opens the fridge; there's a bunch of high-quality ingredients.
'Hmmm, I guess I could make do with these.' Lu Chen got to work as he cleans the rice and starts mixing the flour into dough.
As Lu Chen cooked, the aroma coming from the kitchen floats all throughout the mansion. Lu Xiaotong was the first person to react to it.
'What a sweet and savory aroma!' Lu Xiaotong was about to jump out of his bed and quickly dash down, but then he stops!
'Huh?! It's not my sweet flower cooking downstairs?!' The reason he stops is that Zhang Wenling is waking up beside him. She also slled the aroma of the food.
'Then who's the one doing the cooking?!' Usually, it's Zhang Wenling doing the cooking. Zhang Wenling didn't want any butlers to do the cooking. Why would she need sobody else to do sothing she loves to do?
Grrrrr.
Nothing needed to be said. The sound of Lu Xiaotong's stomach says it all. But he wasn't the first person to move. Zhang Wenling sped out of the room before Lu Xiaotong could do it.
And she wasn't alone as Lu Aotian and Lu Hao were right behind her as they dashed!
"...." Lu Xiaotong didn't know what to say to this. But then it hit him! 'Dammit! They're going to eat all of it!' He quickly jumps out and chases their behinds.
When the four ca down, what they saw surprised them. On the table was a delicious bowl of congee, and beside it was a golden and crunchy youtiao. There were also many other dishes, all of them look delicious.
"Wow! All of this looks so delicious!" And the person to voice out their thoughts is Lu Hao. Before he could eat any of it, Lu Chen ca out of the kitchen wearing Zhang Wenling's apron.
"Good morning. Go wash up so we can eat." When Lu Chen said that, Zhang Wenling asks,
"Xiao Chen, did you make all of this food?" Lu Chen nods his head,
"Of course, I made all of this food. It's not like we have cooks to do any of this?" Lu Chen laughs, "Breakfast is going to be ready in a little bit. I have to finish making the crepes."
Lu Chen went back to the kitchen to continue to cook. However, he seems to not realize the looks on everybody else's face.
"...." I don't believe it. When did Lu Chen have an interest in cooking?
The four didn't say anything more as they quickly washed up to get ready to eat.
