Chapter 209: So that’s what happened

Zhang Wenling gave her husband a look of contempt. But Lu Xiaotong didn't even care about the looks he's getting from the two as he got what he wanted. He grabs her arm and says, "Xiao Chen, we will be going out now. We don't want to bother you from your rest." He didn't wait for Lu Chen to say anything as he left the room quickly.
The man didn't want Lu Chen to go back on his words.
Lu Chen went back to lying relaxingly on the bed. Even though he knows he shouldn't be relaxing, this will be one of the only chances he will have to relax before starting to work seriously again.
But he didn't rest long as Elder Wu ca into the room. He asks him,
"Young master, are you feeling better now?"
Lu Chen nods his head, "I'm fine."
"That is good. Also, I took the liberty of asking the doctors to examine your body as well." He had co to the hospital much earlier than Lu Chen and the three.
He told the doctors that the young master of the Lu family was coming over there. And to show him respect.

Seeing Lu Chen covered in bandages all over the place, Elder Wu felt conflicted if he had made the right choice. There was another scenario he could have done for it to be controlled.
But right now, Elder Wu knows he has to apologize to him.
However, Lu Chen didn't want him to do it, "Elder Wu, you don't need to apologize."

"I know you have been watching the whole fight unfold." When Elder Wu said this, he was shocked.
Lu Chen continues, "Don't worry about it. I know you would have been there to protect . But you must have had a reason to go." If the thugs were actually a serious problem, Elder Wu would have ended them on the spot way before they even ca near the school.
When Lu Chen saw the thugs coming into the school, he felt odd. Why did Elder Wu even allow them to enter the school?
