Chapter 204: My poor baby
While the four were left in their own thoughts, a doctor ca in and asks, "Mr.Lu Chen, I see that you look much better now. Thank goodness."
"I feel much better now, and thank you for giving this room. But you didn't have to do this for ." Lu Chen felt the room was a bit much for him. It was only one person in this large room. It's too spacious.
Contrary to what Lu Chen was thinking, the doctor asks, "Is the room too small for you, Mr. Lu? We'll get you a bigger room if you like?" From Lu Chen's expression, the doctor thought Lu Chen was disgusted with the room.
'I knew he wouldn't like it. I can't believe they would give him such a horrible room to such a prestigious young man! We should have gone with the VIP rooms.'
"No, No. The room is fine. It's actually the opposite. The room is too big for ." If he had gotten a larger one, then he would have told them to change it.
'Thank goodness.' The doctor felt relieved. However, he explains, "I'm sorry, Mr. Lu. Can you bear with this room for now? If we give you a smaller room, you will need to share it with other people."
And the doctor didn't want to give Lu Chen a smaller room. Well, it's more like he couldn't.
The Lu family's been expanding their influence in different areas, ranging from advanced technology all the way to agriculture. And this hospital is one of the things his family invested in. Hearing that the head and the madam of the Lu family are coming over, giving Lu Chen a small room is impossible. It would be an insult to them.
"Oh, you don't have to be sorry about it. This room is just fine." Lu Chen didn't mind the room now that he heard the situation. This ti, he asks, "Doctor, is there anything wrong with ?"
The sooner he gets out of the hospital, the better it was for him to deal with other things.
"Mr.Lu Chen, we want you to stay in the hospital for a few days. We want to make sure that you are perfectly ok. The amount of blood you lost was not normal."
The paradic had told the doctor about how Lu Chen was fainting from ti to ti. So, they're going to keep him there, monitoring him.
Lu Chen frowns. 'Stay here for a few more days?' He didn't want to stay there a few more days. Before he could say sothing,
Bang!
The door slings open, banging onto the wall!
Lu Xiaotong and Zhang Wenling were the ones who opened the door. When Lu Chen saw the expression on their face, he was puzzled.
'Why do you guys look like sobody has died?' But he couldn't say anything to that. When Zhang Wenling saw Lu Chen, she didn't wait for anybody to say anything as she dashes to him and hugs him super tight!
"My poor little baby! What happened?! Who did this to you?! Tell mommy, and she'll cripple them!" The mont Zhang Wenling heard Lu Chen was sent to the hospital, her heart dropped to the floor. She couldn't believe sobody would target her son.
And she wasn't alone in her worry as well. Lu Xiaotong was surprised that sobody would dare attack Lu Chen as well. He made a grim expression as he shouted, "What the hell is that school doing?! How could they let those people go into the school?!"
Without telling anybody, Lu Xiaotong already cut half of the funding he gave to the school. He wasn't going to fund sothing that couldn't even protect the students there.
"Lao Ba, I'm fine. Look. There is nothing wrong with . Perfectly ok." Lu Chen felt the two of them are overreacting to his injuries.
However, Lu Xiaotong gave his son a strange look. 'Did my son get hit on the head too hard?'
"Look at the injuries and bandages you have on you? How can you say you are alright?" Lu Xiaotong shakes his head,
"Don't worry. Your Lao Ba will find out who did this and make them suffer." Lu Xiaotong was ready to get all of his n to find the n again and torture them.
"Lao ba, you don't need to-" Before Lu Chen could say anything to it, another voice interrupts,
"Xiao Chen. Your Lao Ba is right. We have to deal with this. This cannot be taken lightly like a grain of salt."
