Chapter 929: Chapter 927: Showing Loyalty Only to Face Punishnt, Quite Helpless
Wen Xin listened to Qian ng’s words, his fingers unconsciously tapping on the armrest of the chair, a mysterious smile playing on his lips, “The handover ceremony in ten days… then we shall return on the ninth day, to join in the excitent!”
Qian ng didn’t understand Wen Xin’s words for a mont, looking at him with so confusion, “Do you an to take back with you?”
“Yes, if you are willing, I can take you with . However, you need to think it over, as it might be a one-way trip.”
Wen Xin looked at Qian ng calmly, appearing sowhat nonchalant, but Qian ng saw seriousness in Wen Xin’s eyes and knew that this ti Wen Xin was not joking.
“I’ve said before, you’re always my boss. Today, I’ve taken your chip, so from now on I belong to you. I…”
Qian ng didn’t finish his sentences before feeling a tingling sensation in his neck, and then he was unable to speak anymore.
Qian ng looked at Wen Xin in shock, unable to believe that Wen Xin would do this to him. He pointed at his mouth, looking at Wen Xin with so confusion.
Wen Xin casually placed the wrapper of the silver needle on the table, looking faintly at Qian ng with a slight smile, “You talk too much. I need to get things done and don’t need unnecessary chatter. Go back and tell Moore that I’ll be quite busy recently and to be ready, as I’ll leave in eight days.”
Qian ng was shocked by Wen Xin’s actions. He had never expected Wen Xin to turn on him so quickly. The speed of her move was totally unexpected.
One second, he was laughing and discussing the matter, but the next second, she had silenced him in the simplest of ways, utterly astounding him.
Finally, Qian ng sighed helplessly, nodded very seriously at Wen Xin, and then pointed at his mouth, indicating that he now knew what he should and should not say.
Looking at Qian ng’s gesture, Wen Xin suddenly felt it was sowhat comical. She smiled faintly, “Just pull out the needle, and you won’t be unable to speak for six months this ti!”
Qian ng sighed helplessly again, not sure how to describe his feelings, rembering that Wen Xin had done this before.
Just then, Wen Xin’s phone suddenly rang. He picked it up from the table and saw it was a call from Sun Ning. He pressed the answer button and then waved to Qian ng, indicating that it was ti for him to leave.
As Qian ng stepped out of the study, he saw Liang Luoyu standing at the doorway, unsurprisingly waiting for him.
Qian ng was respectful in front of Wen Xin, but that didn’t an just anyone could trouble him.
Looking at the rakishly dressed Liang Luoyu, Qian ng’s eyebrows slightly raised, “What? Don’t agree? We can have a duel, but this isn’t the right place. Pick a location, and we can have a proper showdown.”
Liang Luoyu was taken aback, not expecting Qian ng to challenge him to a fight before he even spoke. This genuinely surprised him.
But it hit right on what Liang Luoyu had in mind. He really wanted to have a proper fight with Qian ng, even if he might lose. He wanted to vent the resentnt he’d harbored for so many years.
If he couldn’t properly vent those feelings, there might never be a chance for them to beco friends. The past might remain an everlasting thorn in his heart.
“Let’s head to the Mu family base training ground,” Liang Luoyu said as he walked ahead of Qian ng.
Qian ng casually unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his seductive collarbone, which made him look even more unrestrained. As he passed by, the cheeks of the servants inadvertently blushed slightly.
Listeing to footsteps coming from upstairs, Gu Yanzhe and Ling Yichen both looked up to see Qian ng and Gu Yanzhe walking down the stairs, one after the other.
Gu Yanzhe and Ling Yichen exchanged glances and realized that the atmosphere between the two seed a bit off. They both looked towards Mu Chengxi, wondering how Mu Chengxi planned to handle the situation.
Mu Chengxi was staring down at the tablet in his hands, showing no intention of helping resolve the matter. This left Gu Yanzhe and Ling Yichen feeling helpless.
“Master Xi, Qian ng and I are going to the training ground. We are going to have a serious fight, and this ti, no matter what you say, I won’t let this opportunity pass,” Liang Luoyu said, standing next to the sofa and observing Mu Chengxi swiping on the tablet. His tone was very serious as he voiced his stance, hoping Mu Chengxi wouldn’t stop him.
About a minute later, Mu Chengxi slowly looked up at Liang Luoyu, then turned his head towards Qian ng and raised his eyebrows.
“Stop when it’s enough, if you damage him, I have no way of explaining it to Uncle Liang.”
What Mu Chengxi said surprised everyone present. They had thought Mu Chengxi would intervene to stop this farce, but instead of stopping it, he ironically gave Qian ng the leeway to let Liang Luoyu off, which made Liang Luoyu feel humiliated.
“Stop the nonsense and let’s go!” Liang Luoyu, feeling ridiculed by Mu Chengxi instead of being supported, was irritated, but he didn’t dare say anything to Mu Chengxi. Instead, he directed his anger towards Qian ng.
After saying this, Liang Luoyu left the living room furiously, and Qian ng just chuckled lightly, as if mocking Liang Luoyu.
He followed behind Liang Luoyu nonchalantly, walking out of the living room.
Gu Yanzhe and Ling Yichen, watching Qian ng’s relaxed deanor, couldn’t help but worry for Liang Luoyu. Qian ng was notoriously fierce.
They were really concerned that Qian ng might lose control of his strength and seriously hurt Liang Luoyu, which would complicate things.
“Master Xi, aren’t you going to stop them? We’re all family here, and this ridiculous situation seems inappropriate. It wouldn’t be good no matter who gets hurt.”
Gu Yanzhe looked at Mu Chengxi, trying to influence him with his stance and persuade Mu Chengxi to intervene in the matter since such situations were not suitable.
Mu Chengxi casually placed the tablet on the table and lounged on the sofa, his legs crossed.
“How to stop them? It was Liang Luoyu who sought trouble with Qian ng. Besides, you all know Liang Luoyu’s temper. Could I really stop him if I tried? They’ve had grievances before, so let them settle it themselves.”
After saying this, Mu Chengxi casually picked up the water glass on the table, took a sip, then looked up at the two n standing there.
