Alfredo glanced at Moore indifferently and lay back down on the hospital bed, resting his uninjured arm on his forehead in a manner that showed he had no wish to deal with Moore.
Moore looked at Alfredo, full of grievances, and smiled lightly, “Aren’t you just blaming for taking action against the Elders Guild because of Mu Chengxi? I had no choice, she’s the little princess’s person. Do I have the right to stop the little princess from doing what she wants?”
“All right, I ca here today to seek reconciliation. If possible, let’s make peace. You’re not that bad after all. If you really were that bad, you wouldn’t have let Sun Ning go save Mu Chengxi.”

Moore’s gaze was gentle as he looked at Alfredo, his eyes containing an indescribable softness, as if he were coaxing a sulking child.

After Alfredo finished speaking, Moore unconsciously let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Wen Xin was fine, otherwise, he really didn’t know how to explain to the elders.
After heaving a sigh of relief, Moore seed to think of sothing else. He sat by Alfredo’s hospital bed, looking intently at Alfredo.

After listening to Alfredo, Moore abruptly stood up, his hands clenched into fists, “I knew that Old Fox couldn’t be trusted; but I never imagined he could be so ruthless, even thinking about making a move on the little princess.”
“Alfredo, another reason I ca today was to ask for your help with sothing. I’ve detained a batch of goods from the Wen family at the docks, and I hope you can sign this official docunt, preventing them from taking the goods away…”
While speaking, Moore took a paper from his pocket and laid it in front of Alfredo, the bald man quickly moved over and took the wrinkled sheet of paper from Moore’s hand, the most crumpled official docunt he had ever seen.
With the bald man’s assistance, Alfredo made out the content on the paper. He hesitated for a mont, unsure whether to agree; the matter was quite significant, and he didn’t know how much trouble his signature would cause.
Seeing Alfredo’s hesitant expression, Moore’s face suddenly darkened, and he began speaking with a hint of sarcasm.
“I thought you were sincere about the little princess! The little princess got hit by a car in Beijing, and here you are, hesitating to do sothing for her. Weren’t you already aware? The docks are hers, so detaining the goods there is as good as keeping them in the little princess’s hands.”
“If you’re too scared to even sign this, then I’ve really lost all respect for you!”
Moore’s words hit Alfredo hard, but Alfredo was an extrely rational person. Under normal circumstances, Moore’s words wouldn’t have affected him at all.

“There are many ways to protect the little princess, and it’s not necessary to be her husband. The princess won’t accept a marriage that exists in na only.”
