Early this morning, the door of Jiang Jingming’s house was knocked.

When Jiang Jingming opened the door, Chen Fang was a bit surprised, and she asked in confusion:

"Hello, is Sang Yu living here?"

Jiang Jingming: "And you are?"

There was a man behind the woman, looking about thirty years old, not seeming like an ordinary person.

Chen Fang explained, "Previously, Sang Yu saved my granddaughter on the road, but that day, Sang Yu left in a hurry and didn’t get a chance to thank properly. Today we specifically ca to properly thank Sang Yu for saving her life."

Jiang Jingming understood, "Please co in."

Only then did the woman and the man behind her co inside.

"Please wait a mont, I’ll go call Xiao Yu." Jiang Jingming said after pouring them so water.

Chen Fang nodded, "Sure, sure."

After Jiang Jingming went upstairs, the man beside Chen Fang spoke:

"This man looks unusual, seems sohow familiar."

Chen Fang glared at the man beside her:

"Don’t bring your business tricks here, he saved Yaya’s life."

The man imdiately fell silent.

After a while, Sang Yu and Jiang Jingming ca downstairs.

"Sang Yu, do you rember ?" As soon as Sang Yu ca down, Chen Fang imdiately stood up and said.

Sang Yu was a bit surprised, "I rember, why are you here?"

Chen Fang smiled and said, "We should have co earlier, but my son has been very busy. Today, we finally had the chance to co over."

Chen Fang gave the man a look.

The man said, "Hello, my na is Lu Yao. The person you saved that day was my daughter. Thank you very much for saving her. It’s been really busy lately, so we couldn’t co to thank you right away.

I’m really sorry."

The man’s behavior was elegant, but his eyes were sharp, definitely a businessman.

Jiang Jingming’s gaze fell on the man; he recognized Lu Yao.

"There’s really no need to be so courteous, it was just a small effort."

This kind of grand thank-you made Sang Yu feel a bit overwheld.

"It’s necessary, without you, I really wouldn’t know what to do. I’m so glad you were there." Chen Fang was genuinely grateful to Sang Yu.

Chen Fang’s enthusiasm made Sang Yu sowhat at a loss.

Jiang Jingming spoke at this mont, "Please, have a seat first, everyone."

Only then did Sang Yu feel relieved.

"Sang Yu, who is this?" Chen Fang finally rembered to ask about Jiang Jingming’s identity.

Sang Yu glanced at Jiang Jingming, who wasn’t looking at her but was deep in thought.

Sang Yu pressed her lips together and said, "This is my husband."

Jiang Jingming then looked up, with a smile in his eyes at Sang Yu.

Chen Fang was surprised, "Your husband? You’re already married?"

Sang Yu looked less than twenty, yet she was already married.

Originally, she was thinking of introducing her other son Lu Yuan to her.

"Yes." Sang Yu nodded.

Although Chen Fang felt a bit disappointed, she sincerely said:

"You both really look like a perfect match, handso and beautiful."

Jiang Jingming’s lips curled with a faint smile.

Sang Yu’s cheeks reddened, recalling the kiss from last night, her ears tingled a bit.

"Haven’t we t before?" Suddenly, Lu Yao looked at Jiang Jingming and said.

Jiang Jingming wasn’t surprised that Lu Yao would ask this question, and he calmly looked at Lu Yao, "Indeed, we know each other."

"Your na is Jiang Jingming?" Lu Yao’s tone had a hint of certainty.

Jiang Jingming nodded, "Yes."

"I knew it was you." Lu Yao’s expression was quite complex, both loving and hating.

Chen Fang and Sang Yu looked curiously at the two.

Lu Yao clenched his teeth, "It’s really you, kid!"

Jiang Jingming lazily leaned on the sofa, his expression indifferent.

"What’s going on? Do you know each other?" Chen Fang didn’t know her son knew such a person.

Lu Yao gritted his teeth and said, "Yes, how could I not know."

Hearing Lu Yao’s words, Chen Fang was even more curious.

Sang Yu’s gaze also fell on Jiang Jingming.

Jiang Jingming smiled slightly and leaned down to whisper in Sang Yu’s ear, "I’ll explain to you later."

Sang Yu felt a little ticklish in her ear and nodded.

After that, Lu Yao’s gaze remained on Jiang Jingming, with an expression too complex to interpret.

Sang Yu beca even more curious about what exactly happened between them to make Lu Yao look at Jiang Jingming that way.

It seems that the book didn’t ntion anything about Lu Yao and Jiang Jingming’s relationship.

Wait a minute!

Lu Yao.

Sang Yu thought of how familiar this na sounded.

Wasn’t Lu Yao the one in the original book who went into business with Lu Hao?

Then Chen Fang would be the elderly woman the original protagonist t at the marketplace?

But the Chen Fang in front of her shouldn’t be considered elderly either.

Then from the ensuing conversation, Sang Yu confird that Lu Yao was indeed the Lu Yao in the book who went into business with Lu Hao.

She just didn’t expect this unexpected encounter.

The whole ti, only Chen Fang and Sang Yu were chatting.

Jiang Jingming’s gaze was always on Sang Yu, while Lu Yao’s gaze remained on Jiang Jingming.

Only at noon did Chen Fang finally stand up to leave.

"Why not stay for lunch before you go?" Sang Yu said.

"No need," Lu Yao said before Chen Fang could speak.

Chen Fang hit Lu Yao playfully and said irritably, "How are you talking?"

Lu Yao’s expression wasn’t very good, and Chen Fang explained, "We’ll pass this ti. Let’s have a al next ti when we have the chance."

Sang Yu saw this and didn’t insist, "Alright."

Before leaving, Lu Yao gave Jiang Jingming one last glare.

And Jiang Jingming, as if he hadn’t seen it, showed no expression.

Lu Yao was fuming, as it always was, he was just as infuriating back then!

After sending off Chen Fang and Lu Yao, Jiang Jingming suddenly said, "Lu Yao and I were high school classmates."

Sang Yu looked at him with curious eyes.

"Did you both fall for the sa girl?"

Usually, that’s how stories go; because they liked the sa girl, they’d beco enemies.

Jiang Jingming paused and gently tapped Sang Yu’s head, "What’s going on in your little head?"

"The only person I’ve ever had feelings for is you."

Out of nowhere, why did he start confessing?

Sang Yu hurriedly changed the subject, "Then why does he seem so unsatisfied with you?"

Jiang Jingming followed Sang Yu’s line of questioning and said, "Maybe he couldn’t keep up."

"Hmm?"

"Although we were high school classmates, he was a grade ahead. Back then, he was a little tyrant in school, always liked bullying others. Later, I happened to see him bullying soone, so I gave him so advice."

"Just ’so advice’?" Sang Yu tilted her head, looking at him suspiciously.

At that mont, Sang Yu’s eyes were sparkling and mischievous.

He liked her like this.

Jiang Jingming calmly said, "Of course, I just gave him so advice."

Sang Yu folded her arms, "I don’t believe you."
