Song Jiajia’s legs went weak, and without anyone there to support her, she fell straight onto the ground.

The fall affected the baby in her belly.

Her abdon started to hurt intensely.

Song Jiajia clutched her abdon, her face contorted in pain: "My, my stomach, my stomach."

Lu Jianguo turned and saw Song Jiajia sitting on the ground and quickly asked, "What’s wrong?"

Song Jiajia gritted her teeth and said, "My stomach, my baby."

Lu Jianguo: "Is she about to give birth? Hurry, get her to the hospital."

Liu Fenglan ran up in a panic: "What happened? What’s going on?"

"Quick, she’s having the baby," Lu Jianguo said.

Liu Fenglan: "Hurry, take her into the room, don’t delay my grandson."

Lu Jianguo: "What room, take her to the hospital."

Liu Fenglan said displeasedly, "What hospital, do you know how much that costs? No need, she can give birth at ho, didn’t I also give birth at ho back then?"

Lu Jianguo wanted to say sothing but was silenced by a glare from Liu Fenglan.

Liu Fenglan supported Song Jiajia into the room: "Co on, get in."

Lu Hao’s expression wasn’t good either, but he still stepped forward to help Song Jiajia into the room.

No thought was given to taking Song Jiajia to the hospital.

After getting her to bed, Liu Fenglan said to Lu Hao: "Hao, you go out, we don’t need you here, childbirth is ssy, don’t dirty yourself, have your grandfather bring two basins of hot water."

Lu Hao paused, looked at Song Jiajia, pale and in pain on the bed, and nodded: "Got it."

Lu Hao went out to speak with Lu Jianguo, who nodded: "I understand, you handle Lu Ting first."

Lu Hao looked at the cart at the door and silently nodded.

Song Jiajia let out cries of agony: "Take, take to the hospital, hurry, take , take to the hospital."

Liu Fenglan waited beside Lu Jianguo for the hot water, making no further moves: "What hospital, do you think money cos from the wind? No need for a hospital."

Song Jiajia was in too much pain to speak but tried hard to say: "No, hospital, hospital."

Liu Fenglan watched coldly beside her, and only when Lu Jianguo brought in the hot water did she start to act.

Song Jiajia’s face was bloodless, a large area beneath her was stained red.

Lu Jianguo looked at Liu Fenglan and said, "Why haven’t you started?"

Liu Fenglan glared at Lu Jianguo: "Waiting for your hot water, how could I start otherwise?"

Lu Jianguo: "Get going then."

Liu Fenglan: "You co and help."

Lu Jianguo frowned: "How can a man help? Send her to the hospital instead."

"What hospital, no, go away if you won’t help," Liu Fenglan said impatiently.

After speaking, Liu Fenglan started removing Song Jiajia’s pants, seeing that, Lu Jianguo imdiately went out.

Song Jiajia’s pants were already soaked with blood.

Liu Fenglan spread Song Jiajia’s legs: "Push!"

Song Jiajia cried out in pain, but lacked the strength to push.

Liu Fenglan continued urging Song Jiajia to push.

But Song Jiajia felt only pain, her face weakened, she looked at Liu Fenglan: "Hospital..."

Liu Fenglan retorted impatiently: "You have the strength to talk, why not use it to give birth? By the ti you get to the hospital, the baby will be born."

Song Jiajia felt her strength fade away, her vision slowly blurring.

Song Jiajia slipped into darkness.

Liu Fenglan was focusing on Song Jiajia’s lower body to see if the baby was coming out, but even after waiting a while, she saw no sign of it.

She wanted to shout at Song Jiajia, but when she looked up, she realized Song Jiajia had passed out.

"Don’t pretend you’re dead, you can’t just go to the hospital by pretending, you think you can go whenever you want?"

Liu Fenglan saw Song Jiajia was unresponsive, pushed her.

But there was still no response, Liu Fenglan panicked and shouted: "Soone, soone."

Lu Hao and Lu Jianguo were still dealing with Lu Ting’s corpse; hearing Liu Fenglan’s call, they rushed in.

"What’s wrong, what’s wrong?" Lu Ting was already dead; the living took priority.

"She passed out," Liu Fenglan pointed to Song Jiajia on the bed.

Lu Hao’s pupils contracted, unsure if he feared another life lost or worried about the child inside, he hurriedly said: "Get her to the hospital now."

Lu Jianguo also hurried: "Quick, the cart is still there, get her on it fast."

Lu Jianguo and Lu Hao quickly got her onto the cart, then rushed toward the hospital.

Song Jiajia’s blood dripped onto the ground, the route was marked with her blood.

When they reached the hospital, there were hardly any staff working.

Seeing Lu Hao and Lu Jianguo carry a blood-soaked person inside, the nurse on duty was nearly scared sick.

"What happened?"

Lu Hao hurriedly said: "The baby is coming."

The nurse looking at the person in Lu Hao’s arms: "Why bring her here only now?"

"Hurry, quickly put her on the bed," the nurse urged.

Lu Hao and Lu Jianguo quickly placed her on the bed.

The nurse imdiately called for the doctor, who, upon seeing Song Jiajia on the hospital bed, began pushing her toward the ergency room and asked: "What happened? Did the pregnant woman suffer a fall?"

Lu Hao hesitated, unsure how to reply.

The doctor frowned at them: "What happened? Speak."

Lu Hao finally said: "She accidentally fell."

"Where did she fall? Why is it so severe? The baby might not survive," the doctor said solemnly.

"Doctor, you must save the baby!"

The doctor wasn’t too surprised by Lu Hao’s plea, possibly used to such situations.

Without further words, the doctor pushed her into the ward.

"You wait outside."

The nurse stopped Lu Hao and Lu Jianguo.

Lu Hao waited nervously outside; this might be his only child; he had to save it.

Unsure how long passed before the ward door opened from the inside.

"Doctor, how is she? Is it a boy or a girl?" Lu Hao inquired about the baby’s gender as soon as he spoke.

The doctor looked at Lu Hao with unexplainable eyes.

Lu Hao asked anxiously: "Speak up."

The doctor finally spoke: "If you were that concerned about the baby, why not bring her in sooner?"

Lu Hao suddenly felt guilty: "So ti was lost on the way."

"Doctor, how are my grandson’s wife and the baby now?" Lu Jianguo asked.
