Chapter 58: Silence

"That's enough," Wei Cheng remarked. "We have to go back before our mother returns."

"I'm still not satisfied," Wei Liao complained. He was one of the weakest one here as Wei Mi has started to catch up with him. It was rare for him to be able to vent out his feelings outside, so he wanted to use this chance to the fullest.

Wei Mi nodded her head. Her small arms were tired because of the whip's weight, but she hadn't had enough of using them. "Just a bit more, Cheng Ge."

"We can co here again in a few days. The experts have cleared up all the bugs," Wei Cheng said in an authoritative tone. "Let's go back."

"Fine," Wei Mi reluctantly moved.

Wei Liao took the chance to deliver one more kick before following after the other two. The three of them chatted rrily as if nothing had happened.

On the ground, Ye Jiao was crouching down with her hand protecting her head. Her Eon Energy was working at full speed to protect her body from the beating she took just now. Many of her muscles were slightly swollen, but the Eon Energy prevented it from taking large damage. Still, it didn't an that she was not bleeding as Wei Mi kept on hitting her using that large whip.

When she heard that they had left, Ye Jiao raised her head slowly. She felt frustrated at how weak she was as she dragged her painful body.

She couldn't fight back at all.

Ye Jiao didn't stop and continued to absorb the dicine and circulated in her body. After a long ti had passed, she started to feel much more comfortable.

Raising her small hand, Ye Jiao scrutinized her skin.

"At least, it makes

grow stronger..." As she spoke up, tears dropped from the corner of her eyes to the water. Ye Jiao blinked a few tis. "Huh? That's weird... Why am I crying?"

The tears stread out even harder. Ye Jiao sat there silently as tears continued to pour out. She was sad and frustrated by her condition. Continuously at the bottom level with them beating her up even though she has much better talent caused her to be frustrated. The cheerful voice from her mother brightened her mood instantly. Ye Jiao ran to the door and saw her mother waving to her. She sprinted from her position and jumped straight to her mother's embrace.

"Of course! I already prepared everything on the table, let's go eat, Mom!"

The two of them laughed and bantered with one another as they spent the dinner in warm light. Ye Ai Xia didn't seem to be bothered with her loss at all while Ye Jiao didn't want to let the incident affect her dinner. The two of them just focused on whatever matter in front of them rather than worrying about other things.

"There are still a lot of rice dumplings left," Ye Ai Xia said after she felt full. She made a bit too much.

"We can eat them tomorrow again, Mom," Ye Jiao suggested. "They're really good."

"I'll keep them in the ring, now, I have sothing for you, Jiao'er."

As she said that, Ye Ai Xia took out the Eon Energy Pill Rank 3 that she got from the competition. Originally, they didn't even want to give her, but after a long debate, they didn't have any choice. After all, she challenged them in front of the mass.

"This is Eon Energy Pill Rank 3," Ye Ai Xia replied. The size of the white ball was similar to that of an egg but the color was bright white and yellow. "You can easily differentiate each rank based on their size. Rank 2 is around half of this while rank 1 is just the size of a pea."

Ye Jiao was astonished. "There are large differences between them."

"Yes, now, eat this, Jiao'er."

"Eat?" Ye Jiao stared at the bright white yellowish ball in front of her with hesitation. The size alone was already enough to make her doubt whether she could eat it or not. Added with the fact that she was not sure what she should do after eating it, she felt utterly confused.

Ye Ai Xia stared at the ball before laughing. "Wait a minute, I'll compress it."

"You can compress it, Mom?"

"Yes," Ye Ai Xia nodded her head. She started to pour her Eon Energy to the ball as it spun around. "When one reach peak rank 3, they'll be able to control their Eon Energy much better and use it for this. If I compress it, it'll beca purer and smaller."

She sighed internally as she could guess that they were giving her subpar Eon Energy Pill Rank 3. Even though they knew that she didn't have any use, they didn't want to give her anything good. She was glad that she had great control of her Eon Energy to the point that compressing the pill beco easier.

In front of Ye Ai Xia, Ye Jiao watched the process patiently. She could see that the ball turned brighter and brighter while at the sa ti, the size turned even smaller. It took Ye Ai Xia a long ti before she could finish compressing the pill. Right now, the size was around half of the previous one.

"Here, Jiao'er."
