’It’s bigger than what I thought.’
Ye Jiao knew that the king’s quarter would be big, but she didn’t expect to see one this big. It was as if this was another palace altogether. Her eyes wandered when she saw several guards standing not far from there. One of them has familiar blue eyes.
"Hey, that servant is looking over here."
"What do you think she wants?"
Qi Huan noticed what the others were saying. His pupil dilated slightly when he saw Ye Jiao. "Let’s try to ask her."
"Whoa, are you sure? That’s quite a high ranking servant."
"Careful. If she reports you, you’ll be in a lot of problems."
"I’ll be fine," Qi Huan flashed a smile. It didn’t take long for him to blend with the other guards as they didn’t suspect him. There were too many guards around and they saw a lot of new faces recently because of the new order. That made it easier for Qi Huan to slip into them.
Walking towards Ye Jiao, Qi Huan greeted politely. "Little Miss, is there anything that I can help?"
Ye Jiao looked at Qi Huan and smiled. "Mr. Guard, I need to deliver sothing from inside, but I’m unsure whether it’ll attract attention or not. Also, I’m not sure where the location is."
From the onlooker’s perspective, they would only see her as a sloppy servant. What kind of servant didn’t know the location of their master’s room? Though, no one talked to Ye Jiao as they pretended to not see the young girl.
Qi Huan looked at Ye Jiao with a faint smile on his lips. "This is His Highness’s quarter. Do you need anything from here?"
"His Highness’ guard tells
that His Highness needs his equipnt," Ye Jiao said while blinking her large eyes, looking as innocent as possible. Her current appearance could easily win one’s heart this way. "Can you please help
point the way, Mr. Guard?"
"I don’t know the exact way," Qi Huan looked over to the nearby servant. "Take her to His Highness’ room. It’s urgent."
"Yes," the servant responded politely. From Qi Huan’s clothes, she guessed that he must be soone of high position here, so she didn’t dare to refuse. Her action was also very polite because she knew that offending soone from high stature might grant her death.
Ye Jiao bead. "Many thanks, Mr. Guard."
Qi Huan sighed internally as he returned back to the others. Ye Jiao’s ssage for him was simple: she needed to take the antidote for Lu Wan and delivered it to him. For a servant to go to the prison was uncommon. That ant, she needed a diversion to make sure that no one found out she was going there.
"So, how is it?"
"She’s just lost," Qi Huan replied. "I’m going for an errand. I’ll return back later."
"Alright, take care."
While Qi Huan was intending to create a diversion, Ye Jiao arrived in front of Chen Tian’s room. The servant looked at her and pointed to the door beside them.
"This is His Highness’ chamber. Usually, no one is allowed to get inside except so servants for private orders," the servant explained.
There was no need for Ye Jiao to ask what kind of private order it was. She had encountered a lot of annoying officials who treated won badly, so her opinion of this king was also that low. As for the truth.... Who cares?
Putting her real thoughts to the back, Ye Jiao smiled brightly. "I understand. Thank you very much for escorting
to this place, Sister."
"It’s my duty."
The mont the servant left, Ye Jiao entered the chamber.
The chamber itself was large. It was around 100 ters’ square wide, making one wonder whether it was a room for a single person or 10 people. There were a lot of decorations on the wall and table, showing Chen Tian’s artistic taste. Of course, the one that didn’t lack the most was gold as the room’s color itself was a mix of gold and red color.

From what Ye Jiao rembered, Chen Tian’s elent was water. Those elents were the specialization from rank 4 or above. Ye Jiao didn’t know the details yet, but she knew that there were several specializations including the four basic elents that she had seen so Eon Energy Master Rank 4 wielded.
She didn’t know what was his real power right now, but she knew that it must be pretty good. After all, her mories of the day her mother fought against Chen Tian was printed clearly in her mind. The current her might not be able to match Chen Tian yet. He was still a bit far above.
Though, she could definitely employ so trick to defeat him. Ye Jiao was not completely confident, though. The gap between Eon Energy Master Rank 3 and 4 was a bit too high to cover. It was akin to a child trying to fight an adult in a ga where the adult was at the advantage.

Ye Jiao chose not to think too much as she strode to the nearby closet. Opening it, she could see a lot of robes with various colors. They all looked extrely beautiful with exquisite tailoring for each edge.
She crouched down and rummaged the items at the bottom of the closet. There was a small box hidden at the corner. Ye Jiao pulled it out. It was a small box around the size of a shoebox.
Clank.
’It’s locked.’
Ye Jiao frowned as she extended her hand. Just as she was about to start opening the box, she sensed that soone was coming. Her expression hardened as she quickly took the box with her and rushed to the other side of the room. There was a lot of furniture, but not all of them could be used to hide her body.
Her eyes landed on the large bed. With a swift movent, she had landed below the bed’s curtain.
At that mont, the door opened.
