"Is it over?" Ye Jiao asked while catching her breath. Her breathing was still unstable, but there was a sense of relief that the battle was over. The fight was only several minutes, but it felt extrely long for her. Her body was placed at constant heavy pressure at all tis.
Qin Zheng nodded. He wiped his sword before putting it back. "It’s over. The wolf is dead."

Just a second late and the wind blades would start attacking again. It was fast and deadly since it could easily pierce through their flesh. As for bones, Ye Jiao didn’t know and didn’t have any intention to test it out. The battle just now was already more than enough.
"We’re lucky that it has just reached rank 4 or it won’t be that easy," Qin Zheng comnted. He took out a knife and stabbed the wolf’s chest, taking out a rank 4 core from within.
"You call that easy?"

Taking the pill from Qin Zheng’s hand, Ye Jiao looked at him with wonder. "How much does this cost?"

Qin Zheng looked at Zhan Jing coldly as he put one of the pills he had into his mouth. Even without focusing on them, his wounds still healed at a visible rate, leaving only his clothes which still have the trace of battle.

Zhan Jing wanted to roll his eyes at Qin Zheng’s answer. He knew this young man’s background, so he understood why he said that it was not expensive. Indeed, it was the cheapest one but it was only in the world outside this four kingdoms! In this place, dicine that could cure at a visible rate like that would be priced at thousands of gold coins.
Though, if they have an internal wound, it would be a different story because the pill wouldn’t work as well.

Zhan Jing nodded. "You can choose to absorb Eon Energy from the core, but you’ll need to extract it out first."

"I’ll suggest you do not do this, but if you guide your own Eon Energy to the core, you’ll be able to pull the Eon Energy out of the core."
Ye Jiao blinked her eyes in confusion. "Why don’t you suggest this, Master?"
"Because absorbing Eon Energy from the beast core might not be suitable for your own core. In addition, the Eon Energy inside the cores is violent and might kill you if you’re not careful enough. Because of that, people only use it as Eon Energy’s substitute, especially if they want to use so tools that require Eon Energy or teleportation arrays," Qin Zheng explained.
Zhan Jing nodded in agreent. Eon Energy Master would choose their specialization when they reached rank 4. Below that rank, it was hard for them to even know their innate talent. Because of that, no one would suggest they blindly use the Eon Energy from beast cores.
If it was not suitable, their future path wouldn’t be easy.
"I see." Ye Jiao stayed silent for a mont before she began to ask again, "Qin Zheng, is there any way to help the egg hatch faster?"
"Why are you asking so suddenly?" Qin Zheng arched his eyebrows. This girl’s way of changing conversation was truly peculiar.
"I can sense the egg seems to take so part of the Eon Energy that I absorb just now, so I’m thinking that if I absorb Eon Energy at this place and direct it straight to the egg, it will be able to hatch faster," Ye Jiao explained.
Qin Zheng nodded. This girl has a keen observation. "It’s true. The egg needs Eon Energy to mature faster, but it has a slow rate of absorption, so it would surely take a long ti to hatch. Even if you help it, it needs to digest it by itself."
"But I can help?"

Zhan Jing shook his head. "I really don’t understand how you can get so much Eon Energy into your body like this."
"It’s not impossible," Qin Zheng sat down on the ground. "There’s another part of Eon Energy in this place that’s suitable for , so I’ll start my training too."

Qin Zheng started to absorb the Eon Energy too. From the side, Zhan Jing decided to move back as he could feel the Eon Energy around him moving like crazy towards the two children in the middle. "They shouldn’t attack again," Qin Zheng opened his eyes. He looked over to the beasts near them. "Most of them are only rank 3, so they know that they’re not our match."
Zhan Jing frowned. "How do you know? Beast doesn’t have intelligence, right?"
"They have intelligence in a limited amount. In a place like this, it wouldn’t be surprising that they already gain a bit of intelligence. Even if they usually moved by their instinct, the higher their rank, the more intelligence they might possess."
Like what Qin Zheng predicted, the beasts only lingered for a short period of ti before they departed again. Apparently, they could sense that they wouldn’t be able to do anything to these people over here. There was nothing that they could do except to return back.
