Chapter 209: Departing
Early in the morning, Ye Jiao woke up and took care of her bed. Her storage bracelet was quite large, so she was able to keep the mattress inside. It served as her bed when she truly needed one.

Ye Jiao looked at the young man in confusion. "Why is it your turn to look at
so much? I’m going to cook, you can cook your own food, right?"
"I can," Zheng retracted his gaze and stood up. He cleaned up his bed before walking out of the cave. The two of them started fire on their own and cooked their own at. Soon afterwards, the area was filled with the enchanting sll of cooked at.
Ye Jiao finished cooking and put off the fire. She sat down on the ground and started eating, not caring for manners at all. After getting used to living freely without anyone to scrutinize her, her etiquette was slowly being forgotten.
"What do you use when you cook it?" Zheng asked as he picked his own at.
"Salt."

"Really?"

"But the salty one is good too," Ye Jiao replied. "If you cook it properly and give enough seasoning, it’s not that bad."
Zheng nodded. "I see."
"Want to try too?"
"Sure."
No one would reject free food. Since the two of them wouldn’t poison one another, there was no need for them to put on guard continuously. Taking the at from Ye Jiao, Zheng tasted it. It was not bad. At least, it was far better than what his comrades usually made during his travel.

"Isn’t it?" Ye Jiao bead. "My dad taught

The two of them didn’t chat too much. As soon as they finished eating their food, they cleaned up the place and erased the trace of their presence. Soon afterwards, they departed in the direction of Chi Kingdom.
"By the way, how do you know the location for the other part?"
"This secret manual is always brought by the two head of Bao Fu Organization in the four kingdoms. I recently got the news that he’s visiting the branch at Chi Kingdom, so I know the location," Zheng explained.
"There are nurous branches in a kingdom, right?"

Seeing how the young man refused to answer, Ye Jiao didn’t try to ask deeper. They continued their journey as Ye Jiao soon realized that Zheng traveled at higher speed compared to her. The way he moved made her feel as if she would never be able to catch up.

Zheng examined Ye Jiao’s reaction. "It’s too late to regret not killing ."
"I don’t really need them so much," Ye Jiao shook her head and put the pill into her mouth. It was quite large, so it was much harder to swallow. She looked at Zheng. "Besides, I don’t want to make enemies out of strangers."
She already has too many enemies in the four kingdoms and even outside too. If she tried to take advantage of every person she t, she would only increase their number. It was said that geniuses could take on all kind of challenge, but she didn’t want to be the stupid one to invite them to her door.
Living is already hard enough without them creating trouble for her.
"Good point," Zheng nodded his head. "Let’s go again."
"Ok."
As they traveled, Ye Jiao fixated her gaze on Zheng’s movents. She could see that he seed to move at high speed yet at the sa ti not. The way he moved his legs seed to be peculiar as he moved from one point to another in a split second.

She had to learn by observing along with trial and error.
