There was a sonic boom clap, but the sword never even made it to the mountain as it just burned up and then fell into the forest in a burning blob. It all happened so fast that I barely even had ti to see it.
"And this is why we get into so much trouble. Mother is a bit of a monster when she gets worked up, as you can see. The woman that was trying to scam us spent a week in the Care House, and for most of it, Rexa didn't think she was even going to live," Velma said with a sigh.
"I only lightly pushed her when she tried to attack !" Daphne declared, but Velma shook her head.
"Through her stand and into the building behind her. You are lucky that you didn't kill her!" Velma growled, but Daphne just shrugged.
"Co now. She has learned her lesson in more than one area! She will no longer try to scam people or lay hands on a stranger! The way I see it, I am helping!" Daphne said proudly but then cried out as Velma flicked her ear so hard there was a smaller clap from another mini sonic boom.
These girls were sothing else and on par with Listenia for strength, but they treated it as if their strength was normal. There was nothing ordinary about it, but I did understand Velma's plight.
"You should be more considerate to others, Daphne. You might not think that this is a problem, but things are already strained with the Vampires and the other races. You should rember that because I know that neither of you wants to get sent back to the Vampire Island," I said, and Daphne's proud look lted off her face. "I don't want to send you back there, and truthfully, I would do everything in my power not to, but keep that in mind the next ti you think of teaching soone a lesson. You are much stronger than most, so you need to keep that in mind. You are better than this, and if you want to co with when I leave the island, I am going to need to know I can trust you."
"Yes, sir!" Daphne said with a serious look, making Velma smile.
"Good. Now, why don't you show so sparring?" I asked, but Velma shook her head.
"We fight all the ti, but neither of us has had a chance to fight you. I know that you are much stronger than us, but it would be nice to go all out, and we can get the girls out here quick to watch," Velma said, and I looked up at the sky and nodded.
There were still about three hours of light, giving plenty of ti still. I also wanted to go see Lexi, but ti would stop when I went back to my Astral Island, so I could take all the ti that I needed.
"Sure, why not? It would be good to see what you girls can do and show what is possible with training," I said, and Velma looked at the other girls.
"One of you to the school, and the other out to the Orc Course and get everyone to co in. Be fast!" Velma said, and both won dashed off, and I shook my head.
"I still have no idea how you got them to listen. I an, they were Sila, and Gilesh was the more reasonable of the three sisters, but the way they are acting almost has concerned about how you got to this point," I said, and Velma shrugged.
"They all think they are so tough, and hand-to-hand combat is the only way. They also think that anyone that doesn't use their natural strength is a coward, so I let them all fight mother barehanded. I am sure that you know how that worked out. So of them took more than others, but the results were all the sa. They were on the ground, out cold, and mother hadn't even hit any of them or moved from where she stood," Velma explained, and Daphne flexed her arm and winked at , making chuckle.
"I guess that summarily beating them as you are in the way that they choose works," I mused, but Velma shook her head.
"It is more than just beating them. I wanted my mother to crush their souls and show each of them just how weak they were. They are all proud full-bloods and have been living this strange lifestyle for too long. I am honestly happy to be a part of all this, considering that we are only half-blooded Daywalkers. We are at the bottom of the food chain with the others, so it is nice to be part of sothing important for once," Velma said, and Daphne nodded with a determined look.
"That's why I made sure to beat it into their thick skulls! It was Velma's idea, and they usually work, so I did as she said," Daphne said, and Velma patted her head.
"Yes, you did good, mother," Velma said, and Daphne closed her eyes and smiled, looking like she was in pure bliss.
Their relationship was so strange, but the won were so curious. I really hoped that being at this school as a teacher would teach both the girls sothing. It already seed to be focusing them toward a better future, and that was a win in my books.
"Well, let's get started then! We have a lot to do with the ti we have left," I said as I watched them run around and start to prepare for the spar.
It was sothing that I had to do before I could leave, but Daphne seed excited about it, so that was enough for . Velma was an odd one, but she was also brilliant and helpful, so I would gladly take her help in this matter.
I couldn't say that I was at least a little bit excited about this, and the girls always entertained , so I was excited to see what they would try.
