The world that I had been on was not a planet but a massive flat disc-shaped superstructure, but the sun didn't move. It had been a star above the disc with sothing like fan blades to regulate day and night, but sothing told that no matter what continent I was on, the sun would rise in the north. Just to make sure, I opened a few different portals to different places I knew of, and every one of them had a sun rising in the north.
I sighed and watched as the sun rose. While I had experienced so many things, it seed that I had just had a chance to taste the variety of worlds that were out there, but this world was filled with more than enough to keep busy.
As the sun got past the horizon, I thought about what I was going to do today.
First, I was going to have to do sothing about the food situation, and that ant talking to my favorite person. So, I opened a portal directly over Tallia's bed, thinking that she would still be asleep, but that was not the case.
"What have I told you about knocking?!" Tallia growled, and I grinned.
"I was just coming to see you love!" I said, and then tried to jump through my portal and into her bed, but she threw her hand up, and I flew through one of her portals into the open air, far above Northwall.
Well, I didn't see that coming.
"You should really learn to knock!" Tallia yelled from below.
I chuckled as my wings burst from my back, and then I summoned air to hold up as I floated down to where Tallia was sticking her head out of a portal.
"So, you needed sothing?" She asked, and I smiled and nodded.
"I need to know what I can do about food for the monster girls and the Adventurers. I have a few ideas but nothing concrete," I explained and then waited while Tallia thought it over.
"Well, there is no shortage of fish in these waters, so you can use that as your main source of protein. There are also so plants that you could plant and harvest, but you would need to think carefully about what grows in this environnt. Also, consider the weather, pests, and other things that could impact your crop. You'll find that farming here is quite different than in the world I was from," Tallia said with a smile, but I rolled my eyes.
"Sure, Let raise so pigs and chickens while I am at it! I don't have ti to go fishing or to plant crops... but I could make them grow faster and bigger. Regardless, I am looking for soone that is really good at already collecting food of the aty variety. There has to be one of the races that would be willing to make a deal, right?" I asked and then frowned at my goddess. "Just how long are you going to make fly out here?"
"I haven't decided yet. How many more tis are you going to barge in into my room like so wild animal who owns the place!" Tallia said, clicking her tongue at , and I grinned.
"I an, I technically do," I laughed, and Tallia growled at , then closed the portal.
I was about to open a portal outside of her room, but suddenly, a portal opened, and water rushed out. I was hit like a fly with a garden hose and was sent hurtling into the ground of Eliza's backyard.
Just a little salt when I hit the ground, but I fell right into one of Senna's pitfalls I had dodged last ti. The mont I went through the ground, a balloon filled with what slled like distilled skunk spray burst, filling the air with a mist that instantly made my eyes burn.
"Oh, good lord!" I cried out as I waved my arms around to cast a portal and stumbled out onto the grass of Eliza's backyard, gasping for air.
"Well, that was a little more effective than I had assud it would be, but you deserved it, you big-heading idiot! You might look after this world, but you hardly own it, Mr. God!" Tallia said as she walked out of a portal with crossed arms but then turned up her nose at . What is that ungodly sll?!"
"Senna got again. I am really starting to think that I should call off this ga with Senna. This is starting to feel more like cat and mouse, but for once, I am not the cat! I am too busy trying to help everyone!" I complained and then changed into a cat to get rid of the sll.
Before I could change back, Tallia scooped up and then walked through the back door of Eliza's manor. Tallia started to stroke my fur, so I decided to stay like this for the ti being.
"See? this is much better when you are like this and quiet," Tallia said, and then the back opened to Eliza's smiling face.
"Is that Galio?" Eliza asked.
"It is I, Galio!" I said in my overly deep cat voice, but then Tallia smacked the back of my cat's head. "Ow!"
"Don't ever speak to in this form again, or I will disown you," Tallia said as she went back to stroking , making Eliza giggle.
"Yeah, his cat voice is really weird, but I guess it is sort of cute. Anyways, we were just about to eat breakfast, and I was hoping you would join us," Eliza said before taking from Tallia and walking back inside with in her arms.
I sighed but then smiled when I saw the table set for a family breakfast, and the sll of freshly cooked eggs and bacon made my stomach growl. I jumped out of her arms and then transford back into myself in the air, then scooped up Eliza, kissing her cheek.
