Ye Mingi opened the floor-to-ceiling window, carefully looking for footprints on the ground, but it was spotlessly clean, with nothing at all.
She froze for a few seconds, turned around, and ran out the door.
Rushing to the living room, she grabbed the butler’s hand, "Help get the surveillance footage from last night. I want to see the footage of the entire villa from eleven o’clock last night to this morning, especially the view towards my room!"
"Miss..." The butler was stunned, looking at Ye Mingi in surprise.
"I said I want to see yesterday’s surveillance. Why are you just standing there?" Unable to wait for the butler, Ye Mingi, in a hurry, ran toward the villa’s surveillance room.
She rushed into the Ye Family Villa’s surveillance room in one go, speaking before the guards inside could react, "I want to see the footage from last night of the caras facing my room."

The guard was montarily stunned, nodding respectfully.
The surveillance tapes from last night were fetched as per Ye Mingi’s request and displayed on the computer screen.
"Are there only these two tapes?" Ye Mingi looked at the surveillance footage in front of her, her breathing unconsciously tense, her hand on the table slightly exerting force.
"Yes, Miss, there are only two caras facing your room, and the tapes are all here," the guard explained ticulously.
Ye Mingi sat in front of the computer, not daring to fast forward even a second, staring fixedly at the images on the surveillance tape.
She watched for nearly half an hour without seeing anything. There were still seven or eight hours left to watch, yet she didn’t show any impatience, as if determined to find sothing.
"Miss, what are you looking for? Watching like this, your eyes won’t take it. We two were on duty last night; you can ask us."
The guards standing by respectfully said.
"Were you the ones on duty last night?" Ye Mingi was startled, rembering that she was supposed to accompany ii to the amusent park later, and bit her lip.
"I want to know if anyone entered my room last night after I fell asleep. It doesn’t have to be the main door, it could also be the floor-to-ceiling window on the balcony!"
"Did Miss discover sothing?" The two guards’ nerves tightened, exchanging a nervous glance, "We watched all night last night and didn’t notice anything unusual. However, as for the floor-to-ceiling window, the cara in the back garden can only cover part of it, so we can’t be sure if soone went in from there."

"Miss, Mr. Ye has woken up and asked you to co to his study." The butler appeared at the door, respectfully reminding her.
"My dad is awake?" Ye Mingi’s eyes flashed, recalling Su Yiru’s speculation from yesterday, she imdiately turned around and walked towards the door.
Standing in front of Ye Zhanxing’s study, looking at the tightly closed door, Ye Mingi suddenly felt inexplicably tense.
"Click——"
As she reached out to turn the doorknob, Ye Mingi could clearly hear her own heartbeat.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped inside.
The spacious study, in the morning light, appeared particularly quiet and peaceful. Ye Zhanxing’s tall figure sat at the desk, and upon hearing her footsteps, he lifted his head from the docunts.
