There was once a famous experint: if two objects were dropped from a tall building at the sa ti, which would hit the ground first?

But now, no one cared about such trivial things, because they were witnessing sothing far more shocking:

An entire island was falling.

"An island… up in the sky?!" soone scread.

With Blackbeard dead, the power of the Float-Float Fruit vanished. The island, suspended thousands of ters in the air, began plumting downward, directly toward Hachinosu.

Those who saw the island descending were frozen in terror, scrambling to escape.

But the falling landmass was even larger than Hachinosu itself. Where could they run?

"We're done for…!" Coby dropped to his knees, clutching his head in despair.

Law took a deep breath and quietly extended his hand, palm toward the ground.

Wang Zhi, however, turned his gaze to Roy. He could feel Roy's Haki condensing.

'This guy…'

ZZZZRRRAAAAKKK!

Black and red lightning crackled violently around Roy, especially in his hands, where it suddenly surged outward. Pirates who had been trying to flee collapsed to the ground as if crushed by an invisible weight.

Law realized with horror that his Devil Fruit abilities were completely locked down, suppressed by an overwhelming force.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The thunderous pulse of Conqueror's Haki radiated outward, blasting through the surrounding buildings and blowing them apart. The shockwaves compressed in layers, shrinking from massive rings into a single, concentrated point.

To everyone's shock, the visible waves of Conqueror's Haki condensed into Roy's gun, specifically, into the bullet inside.

"I hope this thing can handle it," Roy muttered, raising the gun.

His entire body was covered in Armant Haki for protection, while the concentrated Conqueror's Haki gathered into the bullet.

Wang Zhi shuddered. He couldn't block this. No one could. Whoever took this shot would die.

BANG!

The deafening sound echoed across the heavens. It was just a bullet, but it roared louder than a cannon.

WHOOSH!

The bullet streaked into the sky, transforming into a crimson lightning bolt that slamd into the falling island.

Those who remained conscious witnessed a scene they would never forget: at the mont of impact, the center of the island exploded.

Red lightning erupted, engulfing everything nearby.

BOOOOOM

The island, was blown apart.

Shattered into countless fragnts, the debris rained down from the skies.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

Chunks of rock slamd into the earth. Roy's gun shattered from the force.

"It's the sa as a fad sword," Roy said. "A blade becos legendary because of the master who wields it, not the other way around. First cos the weapon, then cos the na."

He tossed the broken gun aside and walked over to Blackbeard's corpse, drawing a pistol from his belt to use as a replacent.

"Didn't expect a bonus reward today. Should've brought so fruit out with ."

Roy looked down at the lifeless Teach with a face devoid of emotion.

Then he looked forward.

Law had regained his powers and was protecting his subordinates.

The mont Law saw Roy glance his way, he instinctively reached for his sword.

"Trying to run? Hmph."

Roy's glare alone sent a jolt of terror through Law and his crew. Then—

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

They saw Roy raise his new gun and fire in several directions.

The bullets acted as if they had minds of their own; so pierced through walls, others through crowds.

One man, erging behind Roy while holding a large rock, froze in place as a bullet pierced his skull.

Jesus Burgess, the "Champion," collapsed without a sound.

"Hurry, Stronger!"

A sickly white horse galloped away, carrying the weakly clinging Doc Q on its back.

"Teach is dead, we need to, Stronger?!"

The horse suddenly collapsed. Doc Q raised his head, just in ti for a bullet to pierce his temple.

The horse's skull was shattered. Doc Q's head was bleeding.

Both master and steed fell, lifeless.

"That massive island was destroyed… looks like the plan failed. One misstep, and everything crumbles."

In midair, Lafitte hovered with wings, holding a cane-sword in one hand and tipping his hat with the other, his eyes hidden.

"Farewell."

He turned to fly away—

Thwack!

A bullet slamd into his shoulder.

It was like being bitten by a beast; his chest was torn open, nearly a third of it gone.

Wide-eyed, Lafitte saw the bullet and finally realized he was going to die.

Compared to them, a few others fared better.

Shiryu deflected a shot with his sword.

Devon tried to disguise herself as soone else to escape, though she was spotted, the bullet missed her.

Vasco Shot and Pizarro managed to escape.

But Sanjuan Wolf, being too large, failed to get away; his head was hit, killing him instantly.

"Tch… Still trying to run?"

Roy sounded annoyed. His voice was low, yet it rang loud and clear in the ears of the four fleeing. Their faces went pale.

"SPLIT UP!!!"

They bolted in different directions.

"Hmph."

Roy snorted.

Conqueror's Haki exploded from him, transforming into four lightning bolts that streaked across the battlefield.

The speed was unimaginable. All four targets were struck.

"What?!"

Law was stunned. Even Wang Zhi, who had lived through multiple eras, had never seen Conqueror's Haki used like that.

To lock onto enemies from such distances with just Haki?

It was absurd. Terrifying.

Roy reloaded his gun.

The four pirates, paralyzed by Haki, begged for rcy.

"Spare ! I'll serve you, nya! I've never done anything to you!" pleaded Pizarro.

"We were just Blackbeard's allies; we weren't against you," said Devon.

"Please, don't kill , don't kill !" whimpered Vasco Shot, tongue lolling as he grovelled on the ground.

Only Shiryu stayed silent. He alone remained standing, gritting his teeth.

"You attacked Whitebeard's territory. You should have known it ant death. Didn't you see what was written on the base?"

'We will hunt you down, no matter how far.'"

Roy finished reloading.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three shots.

Coby, hearing the sounds, covered his head; he couldn't even bring himself to look. Roy was terrifying beyond words.

Law, on the other hand, was puzzled.

'Only three? What about the fourth? Why didn't he shoot again?'

Then

"Trafalgar Law. This is our first ti eting, isn't it?" Roy suddenly smiled at him.

"Interested in joining the Whitebeard Pirates?"

"Of course… You could say no."

The muzzle of Roy's pitch-black gun pointed directly at him.
