The saints’ path to their exalted status rarely relied solely on rit. Instead, it often involved the Hóngméng Zǐqì (Primordial Violet Qi) or other extraordinary elents. Relying purely on rit, even attaining the rank of Dàluó Dào Zǔ (Great Luo Dao Ancestor) was nearly impossible. Elevating a cultivator to innate sanctity through rit alone was an imnse achievent, requiring an unimaginable amount. To reach the sainthood tier, was even more implausible.
“rit?” Xià Tiān murmured, his gaze lingering on the golden light surrounding him. A montary flicker of surprise crossed his face before realisation dawned. “It’s not so surprising. By ensuring the safety of the Human Clan, countless lives will be saved. Such rit is only to be expected.”

Deep within the Youxiong Tribe, the Human clan reeled with disbelief. The revelation that their Shèngshī (Holy Teacher) was actually the Crown Prince of the Yāozú Tiāntíng (Yao Heavenly Court) was shocking. However, their initial astonishnt quickly gave way to relief and elation. With the Yāozú (Demon clan) as their protectors, they no longer needed to fear persecution by the myriad races of the Hónghuāng.
In the grand sche of the Hónghuāng, the Human clan stood among the weakest clans, their existence still nascent. While the saints Tai Shang and Nuwa had a historical connection to them, the support of these saints was limited. The other saints showed no involvent at all. Furthermore, even Tai Shang and Nuwa refrained from extensive interference, allowing them to develop independently. This lack of strong backing left the Human clan vulnerable to the aggression of stronger tribes.
Xià Tiān’s declaration that the Demon clan would act as their guardians was therefore a montous shift. The Humans welcod this alliance eagerly. Without any historical enmity between the two clans, the bond was mutually beneficial.

The resounding proclamation from Xià Tiān echoed across the vast expanse of the Hónghuāng, drawing the attention of many powerful beings. Even the six saints turned their focus to the Youxiong Tribe. In the Tàiqīng Tiān (Three Pure Heavens), within the tranquil halls of the Tàiqīng Gōng (The Palace of Supre Purity), Lǎozǐ montarily paused his alchemical work, his gaze piercing through the void as he observed the unfolding events.
His brows furrowed in thought, Could it be that the Demon clan has recognised the Human clan as the destined protagonists of the cosmos?
