Once he settled things down between the troublemakers, Aegon took Xiu to a different table where she wouldn’t cause trouble for others. Drunk Xiu was getting out of hand, so he doubted he could control her.
"Why did you even drink this much?" he asked. "Surely not just to et your brother."
"Two reasons." Xiu wiggled four fingers and said, her voice surprisingly steady. "First, I’m very happy to finally et and talk with my brother. It’s a happy occasion and I wanted to drown myself in the best alcohol."
"Understandable. So what’s the second one?" he asked again.
"That damned panoti!" Xiu’s expression instantly changed, going from pure bliss to pure hatred. "I will knock his teeth out the next ti we et. How dare he tell he has that just to not give it to !"
"Hmm? He has sothing you want?" Aegon asked, really curious about it now.
"Of course. He has many things I want," Xiu nodded hurriedly. "He actually collects them and never sells them. All just to mock ."
"You can’t steal them?" he asked.
Xiu instantly pulled his ear, for which he pretended to be in pain. "Ouch! Ouch! What?"
"Did I teach you to beco a thief?" Xiu asked, her voice taking an odd tone. "Beco a better man. Stealing is a bad thing. Why would I do it?"
"I’m sorry," Aegon massaged his ear and said. "But you’re the one who taught that."
"I did?" Xiu blinked in surprise, then smiled widely. "Then it’s all good. I’m a good person, so anything I do automatically becos good. You’re right, I should steal those things from him."
Aegon was really amused to see her drunken side. He had never seen her intoxicated by alcohol before, so this was a first for him. A rare opportunity. Of course, he wasn’t going to miss enjoying every part of it.
"I will do it now!" Xiu declared, gaining confidence all of a sudden even though she couldn’t stand still. "Where is that damned panoti?"
"The panoti already left," Aegon inford her. "Apparently, he got scared of you and ran away."
"Really? Hahaha! So he finally saw how mighty I am! How great I am!" Xiu laughed loudly and fell back onto her seat. "He never respected . Always giving an attitude as if I was a kid and he was an adult teaching . Damnation, it worked back then, but now it wouldn’t!"
She went on and on, complaining about one thing, then the next mont she would start laughing about random things. She even told him a few wild stories from her past, though Aegon doubted that all of them were true.
Drunk Xiu had a tendency to spout nonsense and be dramatic to no end.
Perhaps Liliana noticed her antics and ca over. Seeing her, Xiu’s smile widened and she jumped into her arms.
"My doll is here. My big, pretty doll with white hair and red eyes. I personally made it all these years ago."
Aegon stifled a laugh as Xiu inspected every part of Liliana and gave him a lengthy explanation of how she made Liliana. Really, for a mont he even believed her nonsense.
All this ti, Liliana’s expression didn’t change even slightly. She let Xiu do everything while watching her in amusent. Then she pulled her ear and said, "You’re forgetting sothing. You also gave instructions to be your mother."
Xiu scratched her head, a silly expression forming on her face. "I did? Why would I do that? I’m such a responsible person."
"Who knows? But I am a doll who can only follow instructions," Liliana said as she began dragging Xiu away. "I will take you away now. You should sleep."
"Whaaat! Why should I sleep so early?" Xiu cried out.
"Because good kids sleep early. Aren’t you ten years old?" Liliana said calmly. "So you should sleep early."
"I am?" Xiu questioned, then looked down at her body. "Woah! We’re the sa age then. How can you be my mother?"
Aegon couldn’t suppress his laughter anymore and burst out laughing. Seeing that, Xiu turned toward him and said, "You! Who are you? Why are you laughing at ?"
"Xiu. Don’t say things you’ll regret when you sober up," Aegon said, as he could already imagine the chaos she would cause knowing she forgot him.
Chen Xiu forgetting her baby Aegon? That was impossible. A blasphemy. She wouldn’t believe it.
"Hmph! You’re a handso man, but you have very bad manners," Xiu pouted. "Where is your mother? My mother will talk to her and teach her a lesson."
Liliana facepald while Aegon chuckled even more. He could see his friends from the corner of his eyes. They were also having the ti of their lives, seeing this side of her for the first ti.
"It’s a bit difficult to do that," Aegon answered. "You see, you’re my mother."
"Huh? Stop lying!" Xiu pointed her finger at him. "Do you consider an idiot? Let tell you, my na is Chen Xiu, the heir of the Chen Clan and the Princess of Doom."
"Do you even know what half of that ans?" Liliana asked.
"Hmm. It must an sothing, that’s why people call that," Xiu blinked innocently before turning toward Aegon. "Anyways, I’m a kid myself, so how can I have a kid?"
"Oh, it’s a new technology," Aegon smiled. "I’m from the future."
"Woah! Really?" Xiu exclaid. "Then tell , did I beco a great princess? Who did I marry?"
"Oh, a guy you used to call panoti," Aegon responded.
"You really are playing a dangerous ga," Liliana sighed.
"Hmm. That na sounds awful. But I hope he’s handso at least. My husband should be handso, very gentlemanly, one who respects even though I’m kind of weird. No, I’m really very weird," Xiu said.
Then she slumped down and looked up at Aegon. "Alright, one more thing. Can you tell if my father and mother are proud of ?"
Aegon’s smile stiffened as his whole body froze at her question.
She looked down, her face falling as tears ford in her eyes. "I know Xiu is very troubleso for them. They don’t say it, but I know I’m a burden to them. They deserve a better daughter, so can you tell if I beca a good daughter?"
She put her hands on her cheeks and said softly, "Did they have another daughter? You see, Xiu is very bad, so they deserve another daughter. I also want a big sister and also a big brother."
