Classic Brandor Bar!
It was an two-storey building with a mix of brown wood and tal. Bright light shimred around it as it attracted many adventurers and people from across the Empire.
Luna told them how this bar beca the centre of gathering for all adventurers and rchants who wanted a more free atmosphere.
Once inside, the bar felt warm and alive. The air was filled with the sll of ale, roasted at, and old wood. Laughter and loud conversations echoed from every corner, along with the clink of mugs and coins.
All kinds of adventurers relaxed here after their long journeys, rchants discussed deals without restraint, and music played softly in the background. It was noisy, welcoming, and rough around the edges, but it painted a clear picture for Aegon and his friends.
Luna led them to a pub table with a free smile plastered on her face. Then she ordered a drink nad Alphalic Tea, which apparently got its na from Alpha region’s special tea leaves.
As they waited, Luna said, "It’s a nice pub, isn’t it?"
"For sure. This will be my life too, soon," Aegon replied with a smile. "It seems fun to be so carefree, don’t you think, El?"
"Hmm. Definitely!" Elara nodded, trying not to slip back into her usual elegant and graceful self.
"Looks like your inner self will take so ti getting used to this," Luna chuckled. "Just relax and stop thinking so much."
Elara nodded as she looked around and realised sothing. While so still gave her quick glances, it was because of her appearance, not because of her status. They didn’t even know about it.
An old, familiar feeling she had discarded years ago crept into her heart again as she thought, ’How am I getting this again? It should be impossible.’
She had a myriad of questions, but she suppressed them all to enjoy the mont with her friend and half-boyfriend. Thinking of the last part, she smiled.
"Here is your Alphalic Tea!" A man slamd three big jugs onto their table and walked off, not even giving them a glance.
Aegon was happy to see Elara relax too, so they began to enjoy their ti in the bar and the tea. It was a little too strong for his taste, but he understood why Luna liked it so much. It held sothing strange that made them relax.
They continued talking on random topics, enjoying themselves as even Elara forgot about her surroundings and laughed, mingling with the atmosphere very well.
Her smile didn’t falter as she gazed at her love while he told so hilarious stories. Her hand sensed her heartbeat as she thought, ’I kinda get Rosa now. She longs for this, doesn’t she?’
Her life had been a ss, but now that she sat at this table, forgetting everything including her status, she felt what Rosa wanted all this ti.
If it was many years back, she would have been jealous of her. But now, all she felt was pity for her.
’Good for her. She finally achieved what she wanted. I’m also where I have to be.’
Even though she liked this mont where she wasn’t a princess, she knew she couldn’t deny that reality. She had already accepted it, so she didn’t mind it either.
Aegon noticed the slight changes in her too, so he smiled and continued telling stories, while the two ladies occasionally comnted as well.
Just then, they heard a knock on their table as he stopped and raised his head. A tall man with a chopped haircut and a wine cup in his hand stood before them.
"Fuck off!" the man said, grunting. "I’ll pay for a night with those two."
While Luna’s expression remained the sa, as if she was already used to this, Elara frowned and turned towards Aegon, her eyes asking if she could skewer this man with her arrows.
[Boss, so are getting ready to jump on him.]
’And here I thought this bar would be better,’ Aegon thought, standing up. ’Relax, Hecte. Way too easy to deal with bums like him.’
Now that he stood up, he easily towered over the man. He said, keeping a calm tone, "I’ll give you one chance to apologise to them and fuck off."
"Heh, you’re a newbie, eh?" the man laughed. "All won entering this bar are mine to play with. Be grateful I’m paying for them."
Aegon nodded in understanding and walked off towards the bar where many people were enjoying their alcohol. The man took it as him admitting defeat and mocked him while laughing.
Aegon ignored him and stopped before a buffed-up man. Tapping his shoulder, he showed him three gold coins when the man turned around.
"What ya want, boy?" the buffed-up man eyed the gold coins greedily and asked.
Aegon pointed to his table where the drunk man was trying to talk to Luna and Elara, and said, "Three gold coins if you punch him hard. An extra gold coin if you bring him down."
"Ya an it?"
Aegon nodded.
The man laughed through his crooked teeth and snatched the three coins, then another when Aegon flashed it.
He finished his rum in one go. Wiping his mouth, he marched off to the table and spun the drunk man around. Before the drunk man could react, he punched him hard, shattering his teeth as he staggered back.
By then, many people had turned their attention towards them as they cheered for the buffed-up man and laughed, not caring one bit who was beating whom.
They just enjoyed the fight.
Aegon smiled and turned towards the other adventurers enjoying the show. He flashed another gold coin to a short guy and said, "Wanna help your friend?"
"Hell yeah!" The short man snatched the gold coin and joined the buffed man in beating the drunk man.
Aegon flashed more gold coins at others and said, "I have more gold coins."
In no ti, there were more than ten people beating the shit out of the drunk man. They also broke furniture in the process, which made the people laugh in frenzy.
The whole bar turned chaotic as so adventurers even threw wine bottles at the drunk man.
