A deathly silence hung in the air as all eyes remained stuck on the screen. On it, Elara released arrows upon arrows without any break. And every single one of her arrows caused such destruction that it made even nobles fall silent.

Many of them could do the sa easily, but Elara wasn’t even twenty years old. Probably half of their age. Yet she could pull this off.

At just Rank 5, she fought five Elites of the sa rank. All while having a calm look on her face. This made them wonder if there was more she could do, and that made them regard the Elves with wariness.

They already knew Elves were on equal footing with humans, and now it seed their future was also secured with Elara.

Of course, the audience didn’t care about small details. They only felt even more excited seeing her in action and cheered for her loudly.

"She’s one hidden gem, isn’t she?" Arthur smiled. "And she’s still holding back."

"Mutual feelings," Liliana nodded in agreent.

"You are a man of few words, and you hid such a gem," Rovan said, glancing at Theon, who stayed silent most of the ti.

"It’s her own efforts which made her what she is today. I did nothing," Theon said, smiling with pride. "I am proud of her, but really, the credit goes to her and her mother."

"Humble as always," Arthur chuckled and said.

"I’m afraid you misunderstand. But it is fine that way too," Theon said, looking back at the screen. "What is he doing though?"

On the screen, Aegon stood on the statue as he looked down and grinned widely. Then he proceeded to cover himself with a bluish aura and muttered the sa terrifying words.

"A bluff?" Arthur raised an eyebrow, instantly finding the flaws in Aegon’s technique.

"Very good bluff," Liliana replied with a smile. "We can see through it easily, but can his opponents? I don’t think so. And I’m sure he thought the sa."

"Haha! Told you!" Rovan laughed and said. "No way he doesn’t have so crazy sche in mind."

Just as they expected, Aegon’s bluff was soon exposed as he died easily. But his death only stunned the enemies, which seed to be according to Aegon’s plan, as he smiled even in death.

Then the whole Empire saw the ferocious woman standing calmly with a spear, her short hair dancing wildly while veins popped out on her muscular hand.

What followed not only stunned the Eternal Sanctum but the whole Empire. A terrible silence encompassed the Empire, as if a plague had passed and taken all lives.

The sheer destruction made everyone’s eyes pop out of their sockets. As they had witnessed every year’s Supremacy Gas, they were familiar with the power used in it, but this was far more than anything they had seen before.

Even the nobles couldn’t sit any longer, as many stood up in shock. As the destruction grew in size, a question swirled in their minds.

’Can I handle it?’

They doubted it. And this alone worried them deeply.

Even the Emperor himself had his eyes stuck on the screen, as he couldn’t help but curse ntally, ’That damned brat! You actually used this? What the fuck? How?’

Samuel used to think he was familiar with Aegon’s powers, no matter how bizarre and strange he was, but now he doubted his own knowledge.

’How did he pull this off?’

Arthur stood up from his seat, his eyes filled with disbelief slowly changing into solemnity. His hands couldn’t help but tremble as a terrible mory resurfaced in his mind.

The livid mories of the day he could never forget. The day he lost everything because of his choice. The day he saw his mother die while hating him.

His blood ran cold as he hurriedly took out a communication stone and ordered in a cold, murderous voice, "Send the Sixth and Ninth to Dusk City as soon as possible."

"Can’t control it anymore?" Liliana asked, standing beside him. "You know, Father won’t like this."

"I don’t care anymore," Arthur said, raising his head to look at the screen once again. "He’s too outstanding for his own good. I can’t let history repeat itself."

"That much is indeed true," Liliana agreed and turned toward Amon. "Then you know what this ans, right?"

"Of course! I knew it the day he ca into my office," Amon said, adjusting his monocle. "Worry not. He’ll be safe in this Academy."

"He better be," Liliana said, her voice lacking all emotion. "Otherwise, a Red Lily will replace your monocle. Do not try , Amon."

"You all worry too much," Amon waved his hand and said dismissively.

"You said the sa about Mother," Liliana’s cold gaze pierced through Amon. "We all know what happened then. I’m warning you. He is my son. My! Son!"

Amon’s face lost its smile as he turned back toward her and said, "Because of your achievents, I respect you, little girl, but do not test either. I promised you his safety in the Academy, and I never go back on my words. As for my plans, a living Valeria is more useful than a dead one."

"Ignore him," Arthur scoffed and said. "You should contact your family. With their nature, I won’t be surprised if they try to take advantage of him."

"Let them try," Liliana said, sitting back in her seat. "I don’t mind doing familicide."

"If you’re all forgetting it, then I want to remind you of sothing," Rovan said, his lips tugging upward. "House Valeria has not forgotten the past."

The High Dukes remained silent, but they did increase security in their areas while also making sure Aegon remained safe if he arrived in their territories.

It didn’t matter whether they had a good relationship with him or not. He was important for humanity, so his survival was of the utmost priority.

The fact that he showed off his talent like this would surely bring the attention of all enemies waiting to kill the final Valerian.

"I’ll take him to et the World Tree later," Theon said, rubbing his chin. "We need so changes."
