With that, Amon threw the communication stone at Aegon, who caught it easily and put it closer to his face. "Heyy, Opa! Enjoying your ti with the maids?"

Aegon chuckled, sensing the softness in his tone and said, "My bad. But how are you? I’ve been trying to call but you didn’t pick up."

Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "Is it related to the Bandaged Man?"

Although reluctant, Hecte nodded and slipped inside Aegon’s shadow again. Breaking through so many security Rune Formations had also exhausted her, so she wanted so rest.

Before Aegon could say anything, Amon adjusted his monocle slightly which blurred their surroundings. In next mont, Aegon was in the wooden palace again.

A calm voice brought him out of his thoughts, as he turned around and found Kai standing there. His presence ever so was calm and tranquil.
"Uhh, I’ll use it from tomorrow. I need so theoretical knowledge on Rune Mastery first." Aegon responded.

With that, Kai led him to the underground floor where they entered giant sliding doors. What Aegon found inside was a library hall with dozens upon dozens of bookshelves.
"This is First floor, containing the basics of Soul Cultivation, my goodman" Kai explained calmly. "You can also find the Fundantals of Rune Mastery here. Just rember not to step downstairs. Second Floor needs rit points."
He turned around and asked, "So, will you like to stay night here or co tomorrow?"
"Wait! It’s already evening?" Aegon was confused and hurriedly asked the system. ’Ti?’

"Damn! I didn’t even realise when whole day passed."
"That’s what happens when a man is dedicated towards their arts," Kai smiled and said. "You can co here whenever you want, goodman. The First Floor Knowledge is available to all Soul Cultivators of the Academy. But you can’t take anything outside."
"I understand," Aegon said, sighing. "Have a good day, Kai. And thanks for saving back there."
"It is the man’s duty to protect potential Apostles." Kai said, having his hand behind his back. "Now go on. We shall et tomorrow."
Aegon smiled before thinking, ’Sign in!’

Aegon sighed once again before leaving the Lotus Palace while thinking, ’Is it because I interacted with Dean and Kai today? Or just because he was beside ?’
Whatever the reason, he wasn’t really disappointed. He already knew he wouldn’t get anything good for a while after getting that Fragnt of a Domain.
And the reward was pretty decent since Poker face could be useful in many places. There were people who could sense minor monts in face, muscles, heart beat and other things to find out if soone was lying or not.
This would help him in getting through that.
Happy with the first day in the Academy, despite confronting a horrifying entity, Aegon was full of smile as he made his way to the plaza.
"Hmm? What’s all that crowd for?"
Many students gathered in the plaza, blocking the view. Aegon went closed and heard them talking.
"They actually found a demon? On first day?"
"Yes, I heard there is a bonus for it too."
"Shit! Are you a demon? Let turn you in!"
"Just because I’m a demon in bed doesn’t an I’m actually demon, fucker!"
