The first arrow was shot and it moved at lightning speed, so fast it was impossible to dodge it.

But all work, Aegon eyes were locked on the fingers that held the aim and after the first one had been released he made his move.

Aegon, seeing this, started running to his right side, evading the shot.

However, Cancer moved, following his movent while he was running, and shot the second arrow.

It moved straight to Aegon as if following his movent, but the thing was that Cancer had shot the arrow a few ters to where he was going to be as he was running.

Aegon saw the arrow as it ca very close to him, almost hitting his eyes but he was able to bend his head backwards, the arrow barely passing over him by only a few inches.

At this mont, the two arrows that had been fired hit a random building and exploded, the energy that coiled at that tip releasing a massive blast that devoured the entire building, consuming and sucking it into the void.

Aegon’s eyes caught this happen for a slight mont and thought within his heart.

’It’s almost the sa as mine.’

He looked at Cancer, who at this mont only had one arrow to be fired.

It wasn’t her last ever, but the last she had drawn out and she wasn’t about to miss again.

She turned to where Aegon was standing, her aim pointing directly into his eyes.

For so reason she had thought that the absolute deflection field, if effective in soplace, should be weak in others.

Then, seeing the eyes as the most vulnerable place; she targeted it.

Aegon, seeing this, was unfazed and in that mont Cancer fired the last arrow, the speed moved incredibly fast as it twisted in the air moving directly at Aegon.

At this exact mont, her expression seed to widen as she saw Aegon’s right hand behind him, and then she began moving her head left and right as though she was looking for sothing.

Not seeing what she was looking for, it only ant that he was at ’that’ place, which was why she couldn’t see it.

At that mont, while the arrow was already almost close to Aegon, he brought out his right hand which held a sword.

[Ding! You have Obtained a New Item!]

[Item: Sword of the War Maiden - Cancer!]

Aegon held the sword with his right hand as the appearance suddenly changed from the crossguard to the tip of the blade, while sending his purple mana into it.

He held the sword up high, and the blade itself transford into a stunning, multi-faceted crystal of deep, blue-black obsidian.

Dark purple and blue energy veins pulsed through the glorious new structure, and around the sword’s elaborate, dark guard, a swirling vortex of energy erupted.

This vast, volatile mana aura was a maelstrom of dark purple and deep, blue-black tendrils, cracking with intense blue lightning.

The sheer amount of energy being created was imnse, making the transford sword look less like a weapon and more like a captured fragnt of a dying, blue-black star.

The energy surge was so potent that a vast wave of mana, in hues of dark purple and blood-red crashed outwards from where he was standing.

The crushing pressure of this multi-colored wave was unstoppable, and with a monstrous roar, it obliterated the large buildings surrounding the area.

Structures of stone and concrete simply dissolved and collapsed under the crushing weight of the dark, multi-colored force, sending imnse plus of debris and colored dust high into the air.

At the center of the cataclysm, Aegon stood unwavering.

The powerful, howling wind created by the massive mana discharge was a constant, furious current.

His long trench coat was caught in this gale, dancing wildly and whipping around his body in a blurred motion, its dark fabric a sharp contrast to the blue-black and purple energies that refined the chaotic scene.

The wind roared, a testant of the colossal power that Aegon had unleashed with his transford, purple-blue sword.

The light that showed from the sword, so bright that it threatened to overthrow the blood red moon and blind everything insight.

Cancer covered her face with both her hands, protecting herself from the lights and also the waves that were created.

It was unbearable to hold herself from being flown away as the wind was dragging her, yet she poured her own mana into her feets and stood her ground.

Aegon swung the sword at the approaching arrow, the arrow’s energy colliding with the sword, but the energy from the sword was far superior and dominating that of the arrow, obliterating it into ash.

The blast was so strong and devastating that it reached where Cancer stood, engulfing her and burning every bit of the armor on her body into ashes.

Followed by the other buildings in the surrounding area, even reaching the bridges and rivers, dividing everything into two.

The aftermath of the destruction was incredible and monstrous. The catastrophic waves had ended and Aegon brought the long sword down to his side, holding it tightly.

He gazed at the distance where he had swung, where Cancer had also stood, but couldn’t see any sign of her.

He was puzzled, wondering if she was dead yet. Curious, he walked forward and when had gotten to where she was supposed to be standing, he looked at the ground below.

There was a black obsidian ring that flickered from the moonlight.

Aegon bent and picked it up, then got up, holding the ring with his left arm when he heard the system and a window appeared.

Aegon stared at the black ring with ancient patterns, on his hand, and then shifted his gaze to the system window.

"Completed? Is she dead?"

He had a straight expression on his face as he uttered this. It wasn’t a shock to him since he had intended to end the fight anyway.

Looking at the rest of the text on the system window his expression changed when he saw so of them that almost amused him.

And turned back to normal to those that confused him.

"What is my unique ability?"

The system didn’t give the na of the ability but showed that he already owned it.

Seeing this, he didn’t mind it too much, but then his pupil furrowed, eyes landing on the next text.

"Void of Nothingness, again? Key ?"

He looked at the ring checking if it was the key that the system was talking about. But after he had read the next line, he saw that there was another item called the key.

He tapped on the item and a long black intrinsic key appeared in his hands.

[Realm of the Void Key]

He read the next couple of lines, seeing the new quest that has arrived.

"The key is for the quest?"

"Hm... It says I can do it whenever I like. So there’s no need to do it at the current mont. It’s not like I was given the content."

"Inventory!"

A new window appeared at his right which showed the inventory, all the items that were stored inside it, and every other empty slot.

"I’ll keep these two for now, no need to rush this. I will co back to you guys."

Aegon put the key and the ring into different slots and an image of the shape of the items, displayed at the front of the slot they went in.

After he had done this, he put his hand inside another slot in the inventory and brought out a bottle of water and began opening the cover.

"I have co a long way. Who knew she was that kind of opponent?"

"Respect to her efforts, but nevertheless, the result had already been determined from the start."

Aegon took a sip of the water inside the bottle, not much he drank, but a little. After he was done, he closed and placed the bottle back into the inventory.

Then he raised his head and looked at the total destruction that had happened from the [Tenebrous Rupture] skill.

At his front, the earth was split in half by a massive jagged chasm that stretched as far as he could see.

Every building around the blast had been wiped away, leaving nothing but a flat wasteland of crushed stone and dust. Small flickers of dark flas still dancing among the ruins.

Although, this was the part which was affected by the blast.

Aegon turned around, facing the second half of the area, which was unhard, the massive castle sitting on the hill intact.

Aegon’s gaze was cold and fixed at it, as if he was looking at a price he had long to get his hands on for a very long ti.

Holding the sword in his hand, he uttered;

"Onwards, to the castle of the undefeated!"
