The entire surroundings was quiet after they had just watched a single man take out five separate farrs
And one of these Farrs was soone on the pinnacle of breaking into C-rank.
This was a huge deal because C-rank was the ’top’ of the lower rank, and these people are seen as very powerful because they are at the top of the lower rank. So it was a big deal.
However, Aegon had killed him; erased him into nothing.
He was F-rank, so how could he wield such power? What kind of Farr was he?
It was at this mont that the Farrs ca to see the truth for what it was; Aegon wasn’t just so ordinary Farr.
He was the only person that has ever been recorded to be F-rank and go into the Abyss; so he was definitely sothing special.
This wasn’t even about the question of whether he was a false ranker or not, as so many people can use that as lies.
But what was a lie?
Would you call sothing that you see happen with your own eyes, a lie? Of course not.
That was the situation these Farrs were in now. They had seen him use abilities that were beyond their comprehension.
Ability that the Farr Association would call top tier. aning, they were very overpowered that if any people possessed such a talent that gave them that ability, there would surely have a bright future in sweeping the Abyss.
At this point, everyone had their gaze on Aegon as he stood in a superb position.
Around him, the remaining particles of dust and ice flew around him. He had his gaze upwards, his hands down as a tear ran down his eyes.
But it wasn’t a tear, not in the very least.
"Wait, what? What is going on?"
It was at this mont that everyone noticed sothing had changed in their surroundings.
The ground of ice was lting, the freezing temperature reducing and becoming less cold over ti.
Also drops of water began to co down from above, it wasn’t much, but enough to be noticed.
"Is it raining?" a voice asked.
Everyone felt the touch of the water and looked up.
"It is indeed raining."
This was all of a sudden, to the point that no one could explain what was going on. All they knew was that the temperature had reduced drastically and they wouldn’t freeze to death.
Just then, the temperature, although it had gone down to normal; to the level that humans could bear, suddenly began to rise again.
However, this wasn’t back to the freezing temperature but to a hot and boiling temperature.
"What is going on now?"
Everyone could feel it on their skins as the temperature had risen past the norms.
One Farr even saw the drop of water that was on her hand suddenly lt and evaporate, it was no joke.
At this mont, the heat beca too much that everyone beca too wet, enclosed in their own sweat. Their clothes soaked so much to the point it felt like they had poured a bowl of water on their bodies.
It was real.
"We have to get out here!" a female voice exclaid, and just then the ground suddenly shook.
This affected everyone, even Aegon who was toughing out the temperature earlier. He almost lost his balance but quickly regained it.
However, that wasn’t the case for so other farrs. Most had tripped and almost fallen but were caught by whoever was beside them.
However, those who were not so lucky fell flat on the ground and the intense heat on the ground burnt their skin so they didn’t wait a second on the ground to get up.
Nobody knew why the ground had shook like that, and just then while they’re contemplating, it shook even harder.
This ti, majority fell to the ground and were burnt by the scorching heat.
The shockwave of the ground was so intense that it was almost comparable to when the celestial bodies collided, and even threatened to be greater.
There was no great difference, the only thing was that those who might have fallen down didn’t have a burning heat waiting for them.
Just then, a large sound was heard and imdiately the ground was split into two and a big hole appeared in-between.
This wasn’t normal and then the realization ca into the mind of everyone present.
"This place has fallen apart!"
They could barely hold themselves as the ground continued to shake with more cracks on the ground opening.
’It has indeed fallen apart. Aegon thought inwardly. ’Just as predicted. The rings have been damaged and are now crashing into each other since they can’t hold on any longer."
Aegon thought of this and was certain that this was the cause of the ability [Colossal Gate]. It was for this sore purpose that the voice had ordered them to kill soone.
At this mont, he wasn’t just ninety percent certain but a hundred percent. There was no doubt in his heart.
’This is looking ugly. Should I just use the return stone?’
He thought of using the return stone to escape, because why not? He didn’t plan on dying anyti soon.
And definitely not in this place.
Aegon looked at his side and saw how many Farrs were trying their best to keep their balance with the ground shaking and cracks appearing.
His gaze landed on Nyra and the others around her. There were her party mbers and Sinon was also amongst them, with her own party mber.
They were all at a far distance from Aegon and didn’t even look his way because they were busy trying now to fall down.
Aegon retracted his gaze while he put his hand inside the pocket of his cargo and brought out the glowing golden stone.
He stared at it for a while, then back at Nyra and the other. For a while he also stared at them.
It was regrettable that he was unable to appreciate them, then again that didn’t matter did it?
Aegon turned back to the stone, looked at it and uttered.
"Alright, let’s get g..."
In that mont, before he could finish his sentence, a bright white light showed greatly covering his vision to the point he couldn’t make sight of anything.
The only thing he could see was ’white’ and just almost imdiately, his vision ca back to normal and before him a wasteland with so many trees, broken buildings and a grey moon hanging above appeared.
’Hm?’
Aegon was puzzled by what he was looking at, it wasn’t the tundra icy caps he was in just a second ago, but in a place that felt more real.
"What is going, I didn’t even use the return stone yet, or..." before he could finish his statent a voice exclaid.
"We are back!!"
Very quickly Aegon turned around and was shocked to see all the farrs alive in the sa place as him..
’Did the return stone bring them also?"
Aegon was puzzled and needed answers. Although he knew he didn’t activate the stone yet, so how did he appear here? And with the others as well?
Just then another exclaid.
"It is the Abyss. We are back to the real Abyss."
At this mont, questions clouded Aegon’s thoughts as the words of the person who spoke, echoed within him.
